Throughout the year they're only open on Saturdays. Call for hours during weeks leading up to Halloween as they have different set times for pick up. My daughter picks out 2 costumes and says she's going to go try them on. I continue looking around for a couple of minutes then walk to the fitting rooms. I'm in the last isle kind of out of sight and another employee comes to help someone try a costume on a didn't realize my daughter was in there. So she starts talking to her through the curtain and tells my daughter who's 9 btw that she was supposed to ask someone to assist her. So I'm sitting there listening and I notice a sign behind a Halloween character that can barely be seen. So then she tells my daughter, the reason why you're supposed to ask for help is because we don't allow people to try every part of the costume and you have on the tights and we don't allow people to try on tights and that's why the sign is posted. So now I had to let presence be known and I said oh you mens the sign that is covered and then she tells me there's signs right there too pointing at 2 other signs that only say 2 costumes per person thank you. So I sat back patiently waiting for my daughter to take the costume she showed me off and the lady asked her did she want to try on the other and I said no we are not trying anything else on. So then and other employee walks up and this same rude employee says to her there have been nothing but problems today. We walked out and purchased a costume at spirit instead they had an attendant at the dressing room helping people out and my daughter was also allowed to try on the tights. Much more pleasant experience there.

We walked in and said hello and already the old white lady gave us attitude saying she was stressed that there were so many people in the store already. Ok? That's the greeting we got lol already strange. But then we notice that everyone else in the store was white and we were the only two Asians. It just felt weird when another group of white girls came in and got a great greeting and immediate help/attention. My sister made a comment about it being a little hot in the store but was ignored. As soon as the white girl a few minutes later made the same comment, all of a sudden the old lady could get up and turn the thermostat down. She then told the group of white girls that the thermostat was down and to let her know if it was too cold. Ok fine whatever, we're here for clothes not customer service. My sister and I find outfits to try on. I look around the dressing area and there's NO SIGNS saying to not go in without an employee. So I go in first to try stuff on while my sister waits outside. (The only sign we could see was on the wall that said 2 max items in the room. So us being good people took two items in while my sister waited with the other outfits outside). As I'm naked in the dressing room, the old lady suddenly pops up asking who's in the dressing room and being super aggressive. She says we're not allowed to go in without an employee. (Which is weird because there were two other customers in there before me and she didn't bat an eye? and also there were no signs anywhere that were visible) I say sorry and tell her to wait and that I'm naked like three times. She keeps trying to get me to come outside of the dressing room. I tell her I'm naked and she says to just come outside anyways? LADY, you're lucky I was in a vulnerable position because I should've been yelling more. After the 3rd time, I oblige her and come out HALF NAKED. She tells me I'm not allowed to try things on without permission and snatches the items from my hand. After being ignored, not talked to, and then being told to come out of a dressing room half naked is both rude and humiliating. We were made to feel like criminals and less than. It was such a surreal experience. After the old lady took the clothes from my hands and I was able to finally put clothes on, I ask where the sign is that says I can't try on clothes? At this point a younger employee helps us and points at a sign THAT'S HANGING ON A POLE AND ON THE FLOOR NOT VISIBLE TO ANYONE. I tell her how unprofessional it is and that the other employee was rude and yanked me out of a dressing room with barely my shorts and bra on. The old lady doesn't even apologize or acknowledge us. At this point the store felt hostile and unwelcoming. We left without trying anything on. The old white lady continued to ignore us and cater to the other white customers. We will not be back and warn other POC to not come to this store.

About a week before the party I stopped in after work to see what decorations they had. I honestly had no idea of what I was looking for, but I found many items in a rose gold color, so I went with it. For about $130 I was able to buy a bunch of decorations to hang on my patio, a Happy Birthday banner, poofy flower things to build yourself and tape to walls, plates for both dinner and appetizers/dessert, napkins, rose gold plastic cutlery, and I also ordered 15 balloons, a mixture of normal latex and larger, pretty mylars that said HAPPY BIRTHDAY on them. They said the balloons would be ready at 10 AM on Saturday, day of the party. I showed up at 10:10 and they were all blown up and tied together, ready to go! I ended up buying some weighted things to tie them to for the ground, they offered to do it for me, but we weren't sure of the balloon placement yet, so we declined. Nice of them to offer! I often throw parties at my house, but I never decorate. If I decide to in the future, I will go back to Party Party. They seem to have everything one needs. Also, half the store is Halloween costumes, so be prepared to walk up and down every aisle to see what all they have and decide what you want to get!

While in line for my purchase the employees clustered around the register were to busy gossiping about each other and not helping people with their " fitting room" to try costumes on . I got to the front and a worker asked if she should open a register and the asstistant manager said no. Apperantly she thought it was fine to have a long line and have people wait. I finally got to pay. She bagged everything then realized she forgot an item. She asked if I wanted it. I said yes and she rolled her eyes like it was my fault she didn't ring it up. She didn't apologize for making me swipe my card twice or for making a mistake. All she did was yell "next" as I was still standing there. Which by the way she didn't have to do because she was the only cash register open! We are not retarded! One person leaves the other walks up. It's easy....
