The last time that I had such authentic Thai cuisine was in Thailand! I was absolutely impressed by the quality of the ingredients. Service was great! The ambience, however, left me puzzled. Instead of image of Thailand, there were posters that did not make sense. Otherwise a great experience and fabulous food.

Decent neighborhood Thai place. I've been here several times before (even pre-pandemic), but I think the food quality has declined a bit since and prices have increased (story of most restaurants post pandemic, I suppose). It's a cozy spot with friendly staff - if anything, it's more of a "go and support the local business." The food presentation is always great too - see pictures below.

I'm always down to eating Thai food and trying next places - this was my first time here. All the food we ordered tasted delicious but the food did take a while to come out (we did come for a later dinner though). I wish the portion sizes were a bit bigger; if we didn't order a few appetizers, I probably would not have been full with just an entree.

Dropped in on a whim after work, ordered the stir-fry veggies, no rice or meat (see photo). The food was tasty but the portion size, small. For $13 I expected a little more. The facility was clean and COVID friendly. The service was cordial. The menu offered a little something for everyone. Would definitely try again.

I pass this place almost every day and finally stopped to try it last week, and I'm glad I did! I had the crispy basil beef and the spicy calamari. Bottom line up front: this was the best calamari I have EVER had. I've had tons and tons of calamari, and nothing even comes close. The spice level, the crispness, and the portion sizes were all *chef's kiss.* I also really enjoyed my Thai iced tea and crispy basil beef. The only reason I'm giving 4 stars instead of 5 is that the beef was pretty salty, but still delicious. They were also very responsive and the service was super quick, especially for calling at 5 PM on a Friday. This will definitely be my new go-to Thai spot.

This is a restaurant serving the classic Thai dishes. I think there's room for improvement. Regardless, this is worth a try if you enjoy Thai. Food: Pad Thai - 3.5/5 - bland lacked both sweetness and sour tartiness bean sprouts and a slice of lemon which are commonly seen in other Thai restaurants are not offered on the side here Crispy basil chicken - 3.5/5 - chicken tasted quite dry on the inside Crispy basil beef - 5/5 - very delicious; I enjoyed this a lot Pad see ew - 5/5 - classic, delicious taste Thai iced tea - 5/5 Ambience: Small, cozy, comfortable with modern contemporary-traditional Thai decor Service: Very friendly and attentive staff

Yum! Had the Crab Soup and Panang Chicken Curry. Thought the soup might have coconut, but it didn't. Just a sweet and sour broth with crab. Fresh and real, but not savory. The Panang was OMG so good. I really wanted to have leftovers but I couldn't make that happen. The kind of Curry that is not too thin not too thick. Loved it. And the the rice was glutinous and amazing! Fast service during lunch!

Now, the restaurant itself is deceptively unassuming. It's tucked inside a strip center behind a bank and next to two other (well rated apparently) restaurants with only a handful of seats, both indoors and outside. DO NOT let the appearance deter you from sitting dow and enjoying what will be an unbelieveanly good meal . We kept it simple - we started with the special fish dumplings (fish based dumpling around a pork/mushroom filling), the Yum Woon Sen and their house Drunken Shanghai noodles. My wife asked for mild, and j asked for medium on the spice levels The flavours were simply divine. The portions were perfectly sized in this era of gigantosaurus dishes and the service was helpful and friendly. The only possible negative comment was that my medium spicy was leaning toward the mild (ok - it was actually mild) side of the spectrum. That's certainly an issue that can be overcome - and is always better than falling on the other end of that spice spectrum where you risk having your face melt during the meal. We will definitely be back - and cannot wait to explore more of the menu!

Sat on higher chairs (given option for lower chairs/table or higher). The place was very busy for a Sunday evening. We waited almost 5 minutes before our server came by. I was counting down the seconds til we were going to leave. We ordered the Thai chicken fried rice & Chicken Drunken Noodle as usual to sample if this place is legit in our eyes & mouths. After 8 minutes, our food came out hot in large flat bottomed bowls. The portions seemed reasonable. The chicken fried rice had several pieces of white meat chicken, scrambled eggs & nice assortment of veggies. The smell & taste test passed with good amount of wok hei in every bite. My son finished 99% of it. He gave it a 10! My medium spicy chicken drunken noodles had a good amount of heat and very good portion. The Thai flavors of hot, sweet & salty were all there. Ordered the spice tray for more heat & added vinegar-chili for that sour kick to cut through the rich flavors of the noodles. Only problem was that some of the chicken pieces were overcooked and hard & plastic-like. Not ideal but better than undercooked. 8/10 Overall, service was okay but the food was very good! Good enough to come back again.

Kiin Imm Thai has lots of pluses. First, the interior is cute and cozy with a neighborhood bistro vibe. Second, the service was excellent. We tried the Ka Prow Chicken ("basil stir fry") at level 2 spiciness and Pad See-Ew beef at level 2 spiciness. Both were delicious with a side order of brown rice. However, if we could go back in time, I think we would have ordered a Level 1 mildly spicy version of Pad See-Ew instead. Overall, the highlight of the meal was dessert (Mango and Sticky Rice), which we both devoured and is . highly recommended if you're dining in. Finally, Metro garage parking was free on weekends!

Sounds delicious? That's because it is. The tastes of soft pastries were good, good good, good good. I enjoyed my Curry Puff without the vinegar sauce myself. However, if there were an option, I would dip it into a blue cheese sauce or ranch dressing sauce. This might be looked at as sacrilege to die hard culinary enthusiasts, yet as they say, "varieties of spice of life." Veggie Spring Rolls $7.65: These three little pigs are not made if Pork incase you are confused. The are stuffed with Glass Noodles, Cabbage, Carrot, Celery, Taro and served with a Sweet & Sour Pineapple Sauce. This tasty appetizer was good, but I felt a pork option would greatly impact my taste buds. Guess I am a carnivore at heart at times. Kanom Jeeb Dumpling $8.75: Five Pieces of Minced Shrimp , Chicken, Cilantro, Corn, Garlic, Scallion wrapped in a thin Wonton Skin and steamed or deep fried to perfection?! It is also served with a Honey Soy Sauce. However, I can not remember having this on the second day. Nevermind, I went back to Kiin Imm Thai Restaurant to try this dish. Unfortunately, did not find it very good. This dish had some taste; however, this item is in the big leagues, just trying to get up that hill. It failed in my opinion. Crispy Duck Rolls: $9.95 I had forgotten what Duck tasted like. Yet , prepared in the right hands, The Crispy Duck Rolls are sensational with flavor. Donald Duck, Daffy Duck and Darkwing Duck and Daisy Duck and even Scrooge McDuck would not be amused at the thought of eating duck...on second thought, most of them would most likely join in eating poultry. Some would be appalled, disgusted, repulsed, revolted, sickened, appalled, and nauseated...yes, Its so not nice I said it twice. I find this dish to be shocking, thrilling, spectacular, stunning, magnificent fantastic dramatic, superb and FABULOUS! The seasoning of the Crispy Duck Rolls is prodigious. The Duck sauce (if that's what it was) in one word to describe it..Kafkaesque. Personally, I thought about not getting my next order of it without sauce. I quickly abolished this idea, because the Duck Rolls need the small amount of sauce that goes on it. The Crispy Duck Roll melts in your mouth so to speak. It is the best appetizers I had on the second day of coming to this restaurant. I will be ordering The Crispy Duck Rolls again. Probably this coming Monday April 27th 2026. I look forward to trying out a few more items on the menu, or at the very least, some repeats items. 4/27/26 Okay, for the second time upon entering this business, I noticed the short haired lady who sits at service table is giving me the stink eye. I have come to think of her as Jabifa since I don't remember her name. If Jabifa's problem with me is the changing of a few items on the food menu, requesting no sauce on the food or not have the food spicy, then she is in the wrong business of food service. Speaking of food, I noticed the Nom Nom Pork Strips were different this time around. They did not look like the ones I had the last two times. They looked like the The Grilled Pork Skewers, but without the Skewers with less flavor than the last two times I had them. Ohh things have changed, but hopefully this is a fluke. We will see what happens within the next two times I revisit this business. Until that time, the overall experience for this place is a four star level. If Jabifa's stink eye continues, we might be at a 3 star for ambience and service. Nevertheless, the food itself is at a five star level.
