Getting into the parking lot was simple, and I prepaid for general parking, which cost $45. I made a point to park near the exit, and it definitely paid off because leaving after the concert was quick and hassle-free. Security was efficient and well organized. Bag checks were conducted quickly, and the lines moved smoothly. Once inside, the arena was easy to navigate with clear section signage throughout the venue. There were plenty of restrooms and food and beverage vendors conveniently located around the building. The arena feels modern, well-maintained, and relatively new. I was seated in Section 112, and the view was excellent. The interior layout is well designed, and it seems like there really isn't a bad seat in the house when it comes to viewing the stage. The stairways are wide and not overly steep, making it comfortable to move around before, during, and after the event. Overall, this is a great venue for concerts. Easy access, efficient operations, comfortable seating, and good sightlines made for an enjoyable experience. I would definitely return for another event.

The Rose Bowl Stadium!…read more Such a cool stadium. It's pretty big in size. I love some of the architecture throughout the structure. I did get stopped by security guard because I was trying to bring in my umbrella. I was told that umbrellas are not allowed. I explained that I needed the umbrella for a sun allergy and I was walked over to a manager. I showed the manager my medical record showing that I do have a sun allergy and he allowed me to bring it into the stadium. Thank you. I appreciate that because I would die without my umbrella lol I'm not trying to breakout in hives and rashes just to go to the Rose Bowl lol

I bought my ticket last minute and went alone because the artists were Coldplay and H.E.R., and I had been dying to see them live. Plus, tbh there is something fun about being able to say, "Yeah, I've been to the Rose Bowl." That said, I really hope any artist I love never forces me into this venue again. The food options were not interesting, the venue felt filthy, and I wanted to avoid the restrooms as much as possible. People were smoking near me during the concert, and one guy drank so much that he ended up vomiting all over the bleachers behind me. Security had to escort him out, and even that became chaotic because his friends nearly picked a fight with them. Now, Coldplay was absolutely incredible!! They know how to put on a show, and once they hit the stage, I genuinely forgot how miserable the venue experience had been. Unfortunately, I ended up missing the one song I was most looking forward to (Fix You) because toward the end of the concert, some smarter concertgoers started leaving early to avoid traffic. Since I had a long drive home, I decided to leave during the last few songs too. And even then? I still got stuck in traffic for a while! Getting out of the Rose Bowl was an absolute nightmare. Would I come back here again? Honestly, I hope not. The artist would have to be extremely worth it for me to willingly set foot in this venue again. My advice: go at your own risk, get there as early as possible for better parking, bring food and water so you can eat before going in, wear comfortable shoes, and go with people you actually like enough to suffer with. Coldplay was amazing. The venue experience was not.

While I appreciate the free parking, it took my car 15+ minutes just to enter and park in the Cerritos Garage (via Cerritos Ave) and another 15+ minutes to get into the stadium. The worst part was leaving out of the garage ... my car took almost 90 minutes just to exit the parking garage and get onto the freeway. [Experience]: During intermission, the lines for concessions and restrooms were crazy and it was difficult to move around. I basically gave up exploring the concessions and just walked back to my seat. Our party purchased tickets in Section 400 and the view was alright. The sound quality was also fine and the stadium can get quite cold so bring an extra layer. [Concession]: Some of stands in section 400 levels include pizza (Anaheim Pizza Co. - Section 419), chicken tenders / burgers / fried chicken sandwiches (Slapshot Grill - Section 441), Mexican food (El Patito - Section 404), hot dogs / popcorn / pretzels (Quack Snacks - Sections 421 & 430), ice cream (Sweet Spot Soft Serve - Section 408), etc. [Conclusion]: Under normal circumstances, I would say it was a mediocre 3-star experience; however I have to knock off a star due to the horrible parking situation upon exiting despite the free parking.

The stadium itself is top-notch and always puts on a great experience. That said, it often feels like they're understaffed. The concession lines are consistently long, and it can take a significant amount of time just to grab food or drinks. On top of that, the concession prices are extremely high--even by stadium standards. Improving staffing and offering more reasonable food and beverage prices would make the overall experience much better.

All 4 were brought to us ice cold, even though we got them a little early. My guests were so hungry they just started eating. I sent mine back. When it was returned, *they had microwaved it.* I could tell because it came back too quickly, the sauce was congealed and the chicken was bone dry. They microwaved my $70 dinner. I paid $70-80 for each meal. To be served cold food, and then to have my meal microwaved, was inexcusable. The food was bland and poorly made as well, but that's an entirely different issue. I couldn't even eat my diablo chicken when it came back; it was so dry as to be inedible. Having paid so much for it, I actually went without dinner tonight. We were looking forward to this event. The orchestra and the Beach Boys were fun as always. But the food experience was so bad, we decided not to go back next year.

I was actually surprised at the size of the crowd Monday, very well attended. For those new to Santa Anita go to the Frontrunner for a restaurant experience overlooking the stretch run. Serious horse players go to the "Room" - it's next to the Chandelier room. Used to be called the Sports Book but now it's just unnamed. The clubhouse side has outdoors table seating just past the finish line. Plenty of bars and food venues throughout for those so like to walk around and visit the paddock and walking ring. Check it out!

I came to Santa Anita Park for a 5K race. Yes, me, not the horses. - haha…read more This place is so nice! So clean! So organized! Beautiful grounds. Beautiful curb appeal. Manicured landscaping. Peacocks walking around. An experience I will cherish for ever. On race day, there were rides, food, beer, and just a good vibe that would make anyone come back again. Sure it was hot! But it's also California! Gotta love a sunny, bright, hot day with cotton like clouds up in the sky. Happy summer everyone!
