The installation looks great. The windows and doors look great. But their customer service and communication is terrible. Their phone number leads you to a directory of extensions where nobody answers any of them. Even when I called to finish the payment after the installation, it took three separate phone calls and messages for somebody to call me back. Not to mention, they left trash from the new installation inside my house and left my shades from the sliding door on the ground! Very classy. read more

This is a review for round two of more windows installed. This round is for six more windows and a sliding glass door. Once again, Paso Robles Glass nailed it! Stephen, Dylan A., Sal, & Marty did an awesome job ripping out my 43 year old single pane windows in record time. They installed my new Simonton windows and they are amazing! I had the front windows replaced earlier this year and liked them so much I had more windows installed. I have yet to rip open my back bedroom wall and enlarge my kitchen window and have a slider with a giant picture window installed in the bedroom and a larger window in my kitchen. This will complete the whole house. These people are true professionals. They are friendly and perform flawlessly! I sure hope I can find people like this for other house upgrades! read more

I'd give Steve Ecklund at Paso Robles Glass a 5 star for initial contact. He responded to my initial request and set an appointment for a home consultation right away. He was very pleasant during his visit but then dropped the ball after that (thus the 2 stars). It was obvious that he just wasn't interested in the project. After I did not receive a bid for the requested work, I emailed Steve and the reply I got was "DeAnn,Your garage window you want made into an egress window is a nightmare. It stumped me..." He made no effort to come up with a solution and did not contact me further. At a minimum, he could have referred me to a company that could do the work. I'm not sure what was "such a nightmare". I made a few more calls and was recommended Monarch Windows in San Luis Obispo. Jason came right out, gave me a bid on several different window options for the garage, as well as a sidelight window for the front door and the replacement of 15 windows that needed repair due to failed seals. Monarch Windows made money on selling me 16 additional windows because they took the time to come up with a solution for 1 window. My advice, as with any remodel project: Get several bids from a number of companies and choose the one with the best product, service and price, with quality customer service as most important! read more

After installation of my windows I can say that I have a much more favorable opinion of the company. Also after my initial review I was contacted by the owner and was asked about my problems with the communication I have received from Don. I shopped around for nearly a year after buying a house in Arroyo Grande. My house had 33 windows (some were custom/oversized) and a slider that needed to be replace due to failed seals. I hesitated going with inserts but full window replacements were out of the question due to costs. We looked at places like Contractors Glass, Atascadero Glass, Window World, Home Depot and found the best pricing with PRG. We decided to make the long drive up to their shop, driving past a lot of their much closer competitors, and was happy that we did. They have a large selection of windows so that you can explore before you make a decision. We had read a lot of reviews on various brands (Milguard, etc) but decided on Simonton Daylight Max. They have the largest Glass:Frame ratio of any insert and really turned out beautiful. The windows comes with a "double lifetime warranty" which basically means its transferable to a second owner and includes Glass breakage. After placing our order it wasn't long before the windows came in... we did have to make a couple changes as three of the windows were really small and the inserts looked pretty bad (ie more frame than Glass) but Emily made it right. A couple of the windows arrived with an imperfection and the team noted them and immediately ordered replacements. Overall we had a few hiccups, as with any project of this magnitude, but the team came in on track and on budget. We couldn't be happier and would recommend PRG to anyone... definitely check out the Simonton Daylight Maxes.... lots of glass Note: we did have several communications challenges working with Don (as have other reviewers) read more

We ordered 3 sliding doors to replace the 1978 doors in our house as well as 14 replacement windows. The crew who installed the doors--Joe, Shilo, Dylan, Gavin and Oliver were fabulous. They took care of three doors in one day, were professional, and were really tidy. Joe came back with Shilo, Mike, Marty, and Brandon a month later to install the windows. They got all the windows in the first day and returned the following day to do all of the sealing, caulking, and finish work. They were amazing!! read more

Jason and Craig, the guys they sent to fix my windows are some hard working guys, have been at it for a long time, and did really nice work. I spoke on the phone to see if I could get a quote. He said they were super busy and said it would be quicker if I could measure the windows and send him pictures via text. So, I spend quite a bit of time measuring and taking pictures. I send them to him and patiently waited for a response which I never got. I followed up by text and phone call and left messages. Would not recommend this establishment for work at your house. While the price of the service and goods seemed OK, getting the work done when and how you want is another story. We often were told something would happen to get our project done, but nothing happened. repeated phone calls were necessary. Even tho' they say the job is done, it is NOT. The electrician was a joke - he could not figure out how to redo wiring that was removed - had to bring in a more experienced guy. To this day, the locking mechanism on our new door does not work correctly. Also, I had to finish some of the electrical work MYSELF!! I made 3 calls to have it fixed (a second fix) and have heard nothing. there are more issues but I'm tired of typing. bottom lone, use another business if you need major glass installation work. read more

So accommodating and a super hard worker. We are adding an addition to our home and needed new & retrofit windows and sliders for the new and existing home (30 windows & 5 sliders in total). Not only was it beautiful but top of the line Anlin windows for a great price. I was originally going to order a lower model from another dealer but I wanted to take a look at what I was going to get before purchasing it. Started searching online and saw that Paso Robles Glass carried the Anlin products. So I called the business and got Jared and explained to him what I needed. Made an appointment to see him however I wasn't gonna be able to get there until after hours but Jared was willing to wait to see me. When I got there I found out that they do carry the Del Mar Style (not all dealers carries the DelMar only a few that are selected by Anlin) so I ended up getting all the information to Jared. He got back to me and the price was better than what I was originally quoted from the other dealer. I also had him come out to my home to do final measurements which he had no problem doing. The special order took a few weeks but that seems normal. They took the time to thoroughly go over my options with the new windows and I felt like they understood what I was looking for. When to tis business for a broken window, brought it in for an estimate and was quoted a price well under a price quoted by templeton glass that was so rude.
