I have been a weekly [sometimes twice a week] customer for years, but regrettably I'll no longer order from this location, and probably any Passport location. The ingredients and flavor are excellent, and their pricing is fair. However, I bet there have been 12-15 times that I got the wrong order and/or they don't even have a record of my order when I show up. This has happened with increased frequency over the last 3 months, and it just isn't worth it any longer. I reached out to corporate to see if maybe there is an issue they are working on, or some other explanation, but I never heard back. If you get what you asked for - you should be satisfied, but my experience says you only have about a 60% chance of that happening. Good Luck! read more

I am updating my review of passport pizza in new haven. The lat few times we have ordered the pizza has been awesome. I don't know what changed but everything is better. The pizza dough is thicker and holds up to the task of cradling the toppings much better than before, the pizza is cooked properly and everything tastes great. The prices are still acceptable and in my opinion better money for the value compared to other pizza joints in the area. I hope they keep this quality up...it's a nice change and I'm happy to be back ordering from this location! read more

This place is filthy! Always has been. Lil Dino's aka Passport pizza. Same owner, same lousy rude customer service. Local tv news did a story on the health department's past and present violations. There were violations right while they were filming the story. Neighbor got FOOD POISONING so bad he ended up in the ER. read more

Typically we have been very pleased with our orders. My husband has been having issues with what we suspect is wheat/gluten. Today we ordered gluten free pizza and breadsticks. Both were overcooked, the crust was hard and the "breadsticks" were pizza crust with cheese and pepperoni slapped on it. Definitely do not recommend their gluten free menu. read more

Terrible. One night I ordered pizza and waited over an hour for delivery. Called and asked what happened. They told me that were no longer delivering to my street. Almost one star. This Matthew guy can be ignored right away given his poor proof reading skills. Passport Pizza is the worst in the area -- I'd sooner have Pizza Hut or maybe even the God awful DiGiorno from the local Kroger. Let me elaborate. First of all, the chicken... frozen? Old? Both? It doesn't taste very good. Normally wings are wings, but this place has some not at all appetizing wings -- pass on those. What really matters, of course, is the pizza... well, with this, it depends on what you get. The round pizza? Garbage. It's incredibly thin, soggy, messy, and not very appetizing. It reminds me of pizza you'd let your four year old help you make at home. It's edible (I guess), but not something you'd want to experience again... especially when you find a pube in your crust, like I did the first time I had it. The thin crust pizza tastes alright, but it's not crispy thin crust -- it's just a soggy, disappointing mess. Their square pizza's a bit of a different story, and their one saving grace. There are still many better options a few miles out of the way (depending on where you're coming from), but it's not too terrible here. If there's any positive to the pizza at Passport, it's that, while it's a bit messy and soggy, it's not greasy. Passport's pretty awful. I shudder any time it's ordered by my family, but bad pizza's like bad sex -- it's still sex. Er... pizza. But if I'm paying, I'm going.. uh.. just about anywhere else in the area. read more

I've been ordering from Passport at this location for the better part of 3 years. Have never had an issue. If they're out of something, they call me and offer a substitute (has only happened once or twice with salads). Overall decent service and great food for the price. read more

Tonight was our first time ordering from this location online. The Big Ben price has risen from $20 to $25. Plus $3 to add a topping. Pizza was great. But very disappointed with the online order. I also ordered a XXL square with old fashion pepperoni and 2lbs of boneless chicken wings. The square Pizza was a large not a XXL and added pepperoni and it came with ham. My kids hate ham so the pizza was a bust. Then the 2lb of chicken wings were plain and there were 15 nuggets. I paid $14.99 for those. Very disappointed and plan to go to the 21 and gratiot location. Thought we would give this location a shot but failed. $65 Pizza order and wasn't given the whole order. read more

we ordered two pizzas while working nearby. one was edible but not great, and the other (bbq chicken pizza) was totally nasty. We could not eat the BBQ pizza at all and even the dogs turned up their noses at it. WTH did they put on that?? Would never go back read more

DO NOT order pizza from these guys. There was apparently a miss communication with my order, I called to speak to the manager Mike, he got very angry arguing with me about the conversation we had earlier, saying I am calling him a liar, which I wasn't, I was just trying to express my dissatisfaction with my order, he then hung up on me and refused to answer my call. Clearly I lost my appetite because of this. So I got the owner's phone number, Sue, whom then said there was a miscommunication, in which I said that may be, but now the issue is the way the manager handled the situation, and explained I lost my appetite and wanted a refund. She said they don't refund and I could get a credit for next time, mind you with tip I spent $41.00 on this pizza, and I explained I did not want to do business with them again, since both the owner and manager clearly don't know how to respond to customers very well. She then told me I would need to bring the pizza back in order to get this store credit. I told her she could have her driver come get it, since I don't have my car at this time. She said that they don't do that and I needed to bring the pizza back. At this time I said since they can't refund my money then I would just call my credit card company and get refunded that way, then she said to go ahead and refuse the charge and she will file a police report for fraud!!!! I am appalled by this customer service, so now I'm sitting here hungry, and stuck paying for a pizza I can't eat. Wow just wow. read more
