What really stood out during my most recent visit was the exceptional customer service she provided. When I picked up my car, I mentioned a noise I had been hearing. Instead of simply guessing what it might be, Susie offered to take a quick drive with me to help identify the issue. Within minutes, she was able to pinpoint where the sound was coming from and explain the likely cause. Her willingness to go the extra mile was truly appreciated. Writing about the service center. The staff is extremely kind and courteous, and I do appreciate the opportunity to defer services and sign off on work via mobile link. The work performed is always done with professionalism and in a timely manner, and I have been provided with loaners and rideshares in certain circumstances. My problem is with the cost. I have a 2016 Rav4 hybrid that I take good care of. I drive approximately 12,000 miles each year, and have the vehicle serviced every six months. I generally accept any service that is deemed "critical." Since May 2023 -- so, a span of 7 scheduled visits and two emergency appointments, one electrical (rats) and one hose disconnection (minimal cost) -- I have spent over $10,500. This total does not include two of those visits, for which the paperwork is missing from my inbox. On average, I have spent $1,166 per visit, and possibly quite a bit more. Consumer Reports estimates that Toyotas accrue $4,900 in maintenance costs between years 6 and 10. I keep thinking that one day, my costs will revert to the mean, but each appointment is setting me back significantly -- $2,496 in November and $2,350 today (April, 2026). This was after being quoted around $800 for several recommended services, and then being told a tie rod had broken and both tie rods also needed replacing -- a $1,700 cost, which was thankfully reduced a bit (thank you). I just don't think that is a good or fair deal, and will be taking my business elsewhere in the future. read more

I and my daughter have been servicing her vehicle at this location for years and although we have found them to be expensive and sometimes questionable in their service recommendations. Today was the frustrating end to our future business with this location. My daughter brought her vehicle in for service today and received the same recommendations that she had six months ago like they are still a problem that needs to be resolved with a huge financial outlay. She could not get issues addressed that she needed because they were asking for $185 to diagnose each problem item. She turned that down. They then came back with the list that needed to be addressed and the repair costs listed beside each item. She selected to have her door repaired only find out that they listed the diagnostic cost again although she turned that down. She left with the issue unresolved and almost $200 poorer. This is not a reputable location and their business practices are severely in question. You have "service advisors" for a reason...advise customers appropriately! They are only about getting money for nothing at this location! NEVER AGAIN!! read more

I've been coming to this service center for about three years, and to be fair, the staff has always been kind, courteous, and professional in how they deal with customers. I also appreciate the convenience--being able to approve services through a mobile link, the quick turnaround times, and occasionally being offered a loaner car or rideshare. Those things do make a difference. However, this most recent experience raised serious concerns about pricing, communication, and most importantly, trust. During my visit, I was given an estimate that included several services. One item in particular stood out: "Resurface Brake Discs, Rear Both" for $933.94. Before the work began, a staff member asked if I wanted the rear brakes replaced. I agreed, even though the price seemed high, because I was in a hurry and trusted their recommendation. From general pricing, even replacing rotors for all four wheels typically costs less than what I was being charged just for the rear. After the service was supposedly completed, I decided to take a closer look at the rear brakes. Right away, something didn't seem right. When I checked more carefully, it was clear the brakes had not been touched at all. There was still a noticeable layer of dust on them--so much that when I ran my hand over it, the dust transferred immediately. There were no signs of cleaning, resurfacing, or replacement. When I brought this up, I was initially told that the work had been completed. After I pushed back and showed what I was seeing, the assistant went to check with the mechanic. At that point, I was told the brakes were not replaced and had only been "grooved" or minimally worked on. Even setting that aside, there is no reasonable justification for a $900+ charge for what was described versus what was actually done. I asked to speak with a manager and was told someone would come, but no one ever did. Eventually, the $933 charge was removed, and I was only billed for the other services like fluids and labor. By then, it wasn't even about the money anymore--it was about trust. This isn't the first time I've had concerns. On a previous visit, I raised an issue and was told it was "human error," and I chose to let it go. Another time, I ignored it. But this situation crossed a line. I don't mind paying for quality work. I don't mind paying premium prices when the service justifies it. But I do expect honesty and transparency. Being charged for work that clearly wasn't performed--and only having it corrected after I personally caught it--is unacceptable. When I refused to pay for a repair that their own system flagged as their fault ('90 DAY REPEAT'), the dealership immediately retaliated by: - Refusing to work on a 'Critical' safety hazard. - Retrieving the loaner vehicle without notifying me to retrieve my belongs out of the vehicle and to return the loaner key, keeping my belongings hostage until the key is returned. - Refusing to return my personal belongings. - Calling me 'unreasonable' and demanding I retrieve the unsafe vehicle My representative retrieved my personal belongings, but your staff deliberately withheld my Tory Burch prescription glasses--a medically necessary item--under the false pretense of a "lock box." This pattern of abandonment and intimidation strongly suggests they believed they could bully me into submission because I was acting alone. This behavior is unacceptable for a representative of the Toyota brand. The dealership's behavior, regardless of the motivation, was hostile and abusive. I had never paid attention to how many bad reviews this place had until today, when I went to the dealership for an oil change. I had already purchased a package of four oil changes. I took my car in at 10:30 a.m., which was the time of my appointment, but by 5:00 p.m. I had to call to see if my car was ready. They made me wait about 20 minutes just to tell me that my car was ready, and when I arrived, they could not even find my information. In the end, they never performed the service on my car. I would not take my vehicle here for service as D'Angelo Cates , Gregory Allen, and Joesph Bonilla all participated in illegally withholding techs pay, faking profits, and also stealing from customer. They have already lost a suit in 2022 for Discrimination and deceptive business practices for 3.3M. I paid my deposit to hold The vehicle last week on Friday just to get there on Monday morning to pick it up and they tell me the vehicle was sold. This was so unprofessional to say the least and very frustrating. There was no communication, and the GM or whatever his position is (Eric Johnson) had the nerve to call me Monday morning confirming my appointment knowing that he had already sold the vehicle that I was coming to pick up. About two months ago, my 2021 Toyota Highlander XLE suffered a transmission failure. This was shocking, considering the vehicle was always properly maintained and serviced exclusively at Toyota. The SUV was still under warranty, so the transmission was replaced at no cost. However, from the moment the vehicle was returned to me, it was clear that Toyota had done a careless and incompetent job. The car had a very loud and obvious noise, clearly indicating something was wrong. I brought it back three separate times, and every time they failed to diagnose or repair the issue. This shows a complete lack of technical skill, professionalism, and responsibility. Because Toyota's technicians were incapable of fixing their own mistake, I was forced to take the vehicle to an independent expert. He had no problem immediately identifying the issue: the transmission mount was installed incorrectly, and because of Toyota's negligence, this error was damaging the sway bar links. Armed with this information, I returned to Toyota on Friday, March 20, and they kept the vehicle until Tuesday, March 24. They admitted the transmission mount needed to be replaced, yet had the audacity to charge me $940 for a repair that was 100% caused by their own bad workmanship. Let me be very clear: this dealership behaved like thieves. They charged me for fixing a problem they created, a problem that should have been corrected under warranty at no cost. Joey the service manager has always looked out for me at BMW, so he recommended that I speak with Marco. Marco redirected me Margie Himmelstein. Margie was the best salesperson I've met in a while. She was consistently patient with me and very attentive. She answered EVERY phone call I made to her (which were several, asking questions and updates). She even helped me with a situation outside of the car buying process. I really appreciate that she went the extra mile for me. Chris the finance guy was also awesome. I saw he won Employee of the Month last September. I see why. He was very good also. This review is for the service center. I had my car towed here based on the very positive reviews on Google which seem to mainly be for routine maintenance and oil changes. My Prius broke down immediately after an oil change with my regular mechanic. I had it towed to this location after my regular mechanic could not figure out what was causing the issue. Passport Toyota did not diagnose my vehicle correctly in addition to being rude when my vehicle was dropped off and they could not find the record that I had paid for the diagnosis when I was having it towed away from this location. I opted to not have them complete the recommended work due to the insane repair cost and after the recommended work was completed - the car still had the same issue. The service manager told me it was because I did not have everything done they recommended which was not true. I had to have my car towed yet again to a mechanic that specializes in Toyota vehicles and they discovered the root issue which was the engine being overfilled during the oil change. When I notified the Service Manager of the root cause of the issue- he said that I did not give them another opportunity to further diagnose the vehicle after their original diagnoses. I'm not quite sure why I would do that at an expensive hourly rate when the vehicle wasn't correctly diagnosed to being with. When my car was first towed here I tried to explain over the phone what was going on with my car(the fact that it happened immediately after an oil change and what it was doing) the service advisor told me he didn't need that information and that the had three people in front of him that he needed to assist and that they would do their own diagnoses. He then called back later that day to collect the information I was trying to tell him. Again - I'm not sure why I would want to pay more money for a diagnoses when the staff was rude and has argued with everything I have said even the proof of the actual root cause of the issue. This review is for the incredible customer service I received on the phone and when I came in to purchase our new Grand Highlander. When I made an online inquiry Darick called and was so helpful. I told him what I was able to spend out the door and he helped me calculate the price so we could find a car in my price range. He searched and told me they had one in my price range and went to the manager and got me an out the door price all under what i was able to spend. Mind you this is all on the phone and text! I am a mother of three and working a full time job so it was so nice to have someone flexible and understanding. He was never pushy or made me feel that I was just another customer. He was calm collected and helped me make a deposit so they could hold the vehicle for me to come in the next day. We came in the next day thinking this is too good to be true. We have called and been to so many dealerships at this point and honestly treated quite poorly often. Not at Passport there was no shaming us or giving us a hard time if we were hesitant. Today I brung my Toyota Highlander in to be inspected to see what problem it had I had a check engine light come on along with vsc light it was brung before and put on machine to take light off vsc light which cost me $250 I brung it there for oil change and to tell Lisa about the same issue before I diagnosed a code with my own machine and I told her what it read but it never came back up for them she only went by what came off of my machine not their diagnosis and charge me $256. for years I've been dealing with this dealership and it was unfair for a service that they really didn't do beside test drove my vehicle to tell me I need a new transmission. I brought my car to this dealership after having several bad experiences at Koons Toyota Arlington. I'll start off by saying that my service rep, CJ, was absolutely wonderful. Unfortunately, my overall service experience was not. I brought my 2015 RAV4 in for the 75k service and oil change, but also needed some diagnostics done on a potential tube clog (passenger floorboards kept coming up wet even without rain) and damage to the OBD port (it had been kicked). Everything started off fine and CJ kept me updated, they discovered that the sunroof tubes were clogged and cleared them. When she told me the car was ready, I asked about the OBD port because she hadn't mentioned it. Apparently they didn't even look at the OBD issue even though I specifically told them about it and it was noted in the diagnostics. I had to wait for about an additional hour while they looked into this and no one was giving me any updates. Finally, I'm told that the entire wiring harness needed to be replaced to the tune of approximately $4200. I actually had this same issue a few years ago and I was not convinced that the whole system needed to be replaced - there were no warning lights on, no issues whatsoever with the system, the only problem was that the OBD port was damaged. I asked about just replacing the port and CJ told me that wasn't an option. They never had a mechanic come out to talk to me or anything, she just kept saying the whole thing needed to be replaced and was pressuring me to schedule the repairs right that second. A few days later, I brought the car into my local shop and they agreed that just the port needed to be replaced and not the whole system. They were able to locate the parts they needed and completed the job for less than $850. I am so glad I brought it in for a second opinion and didn't believe what Passport was telling me. I also realized that in my packet of paperwork they gave me, they did not include the multipoint inspection. I kept stressing that I needed the 75k mile service and it doesn't seem like they actually completed that, just the oil change and top off fluids. Guess I'll be trying out yet another Toyota dealership for service in the future. This is in response to the company message posted to my review: The only single email I've received (0 phone calls) was in response to the Passport survey I filled out indicating the same information, and all they said was that they would review the information. There was absolutely no indication that anyone wanted to discuss this with me. I do not need an explanation of charges and recommendations. This will be a very short review. In comparison to the other dealerships I went to, this place seems larger than most. Its road entrance is away from the traffic, so it's not as stressful as driving into other dealerships. Syd/Kevin (I'm not sure if he went by both names) was very nice, accommodating, patient, and relaxed. He took the time to pull up information for me on three cars, even after closing time. I had so many questions and he never once rushed me out the door. I really appreciated that from him. He was so pleasant. To update my review. Ughh after I purchase my vehicle things got only worse. The salesperson was to get back to me with a code to activate the Apple Play in the display of the car. A feature that I was a priority for me in the car. Long and behind turns out there is no code and the vehicle I was sold does not support Apple play. But after writing management, they were able to buy me a serious xm package and gps. Not ideal tho.. so that was nice. I also made sure to request and purchase the plan so I would get vehicle services at 9.99 for the remainder of the life of vehicle. Turns out I didn't get this coverage, found out when my vehicle hit 35k miles.. when I tried to find the finance manager at the dealership who sold me coverage turns out he had departed long before and no one could help me. I hated to have to come back for a negative review after having a somewhat positive sales experience. I had a traumatic experience with my car recently and tried to contact this dealership for assistance. After calling several times and the front desk woman sending me to 3 different voicemails (and even making a snarky comment about my question about tracking the car as she put me on hold), I called the sales line and someone answered the phone immediately (apparently sales is the line to call if you want to reach someone). My initial inquiry was finally resolved after much frustration and multiple voicemail messages. Due to the issue I faced, I needed to get my car serviced. And while the assistant service manager who handled my service was very nice and helpful, my service wasn't handled with the sensitivity I would have expected given my traumatic experience. I hope that they beef up training for their front desk staff and, at the very least, teach them to not make rude remarks about customers experiencing very sensitive situations until the call has ended. read more

I purchased an extended warranty and service plan. Every time I bring my car in for service they want to charge me on things that are covered under warranty! I will never buy another Toyota ever again!! I will go back to Honda or Chevrolet ! read more

On 12-27-23 at approximately 0930, I brought my car into the dealership for my 2020 Camry XSE. I was expecting basic oil change and whatever else that they thought I needed. After about 90 minutes of waiting, the service advisor (Clyde H) came out to tell me that I was in dire need of breaks. He stated that my rear breaks were worn down to the absolute minimum and they were in need of immediate attention. Replace pads and turn rotors etc. $483.00 extra on top of my oil change. They also recommended that I replace my cabin air filter. $59.95 I initially said, "okay do the work. I immediately started to think that I just replaced my rear breaks with Duralast gold premium pads from Autozone or one of those places. I looked through my messages and found the receipt and the confirmation that the service was completed in early October of 2023. It was now not even three months later and my service Advisor Clyde H and Technician Jack M came to the conclusion that I needed brand new brakes somehow. I got up from my chair in the lobby and motioned for the service advisor to come to me. As he approached, I stated that I would like to go to my car and see my brakes because I felt that with my brakes being 3 months old that there was no way that they could be at the minimum thickness. As I approached the door to attempt to make way towards my vehicle, I was immediately stopped by my service advisor. He then did a 360 move on me. Now he said, "you don't need any brakes". "I saw your brakes". I thought that was impossible unless he had X-ray vision, there is no way that you saw them when just 5 minutes prior you stated that I needed them in the worst way. I checked out and was given my paperwork, my "Passport Toyota World Class Inspection" sheet. The only thing checked on this was that my battery was good. Nothing for the breaks, no green, yellow or red. Same for the tires. I have no idea if my tire tread is good fair or bad. I have been with Toyota for over 35 years. I paid for a service that I did not receive. I don't even feel like I ever want to go back. These dudes were trying to steal my money and this is why I think. The minute that I wanted to see my brakes that were supposed to be so dangerously worn, I was immediately stopped. My inspection sheet shows no mention of bad brakes or worn pads. My Air Filter was only 3 months old as well. I feel like the integrity at this dealership has to be called into question. I will never have Jack Miles work on my vehicle again and Clyde Herring will never be my service advisor. Something tells me that I am not the only one that this is happening to. Do not recommend. Had a service appointment in December & specifically told them I was having battery issues and my car was struggling to start earlier the previous day. 2 mos later, same issue and I was told my battery was ok yet they found $500 worth of other services to perform. Called to see if they would pickup my vehicle due to this failure and the answer was basically tough luck we didn't find any issues during your appointment. read more

Please do your self the favor and don't go to this place the only reason this is still up and running is because of the name on the building. These people are as sleazy and lazy as it gets. You can't expect much from a dealership but from this one expect for any and every single phone call you'll see they don't no anymore then you do. Then when waste 10 min asking questions to transfer your phone call expect a good 1/10 chance there not available. Do NOT trust your car with these people!!! Brought my vehicle in yesterday 4/23 for an oil change at 11:15 by appointment waited until 2:30 and was provided a loner car. Picked up my car this morning 2/24. I went out with my children today and on my way back home 3 lights came on the vehicle started smoking. I had none of these issues before I brought my car in. Now my child has to miss school on Monday because I have to bring my car back and deal with this bs! read more
