We recently picked up takeout at PPC in Plaistow, NH- The building is beautiful. Looks newly renovated, and is a nice large space. Service was OK- waited quite a bit just to pick up a salad. Ordered the Greek salad. Was just OK. The chicken was cooked inconsistently. And the salad was 90% lettuce and diced green peppers. The feta, olives, etc. were scarce to say the least. Not worth the price paid. All in all, an OK lunch. With so many great options in the area, most likely will not revisit. read more

We went on a Friday at 5 for dinner based on recommendations from a friend. We were seated promptly in a mini booth in first dining area. I love a booth but i hate when the seat is shared with the person behind you. Every time they move, you move. Regardless.... Waitress was very attentive while managing several tables. Started with the wings. Good flavor. I had the veal Marsala with angel hair. Veal was tough and the marsala had little to no flavor. Few mushrooms. He had chicken cacciatore. Watery and not a lot of flavor. Menu is large with a lot to choose from. Drinks were good. Service good. read more

We have always been big fans of PPC, but the quality recently has really taken a major downturn. Not only does the prep seem off (chicken is cooked inconsistently/ fries taste old ect) but it also seems as though they have lost their attention to detail. 3 out of our last 3 take out orders have had either something missing or something wrong. I asked for crispy chicken in one of my salads tonight and received grilled. I'm not sure how many more times I will be willing to give them another chance. read more

My boyfriend and I went there for Wednesday wing night. We got there and waitress gave us menus and asked for our drink order. We ordered a drink and those came fairly quickly, but I think after that we were basically invisible. We had to flag down someone just to place our order after being there for almost a half hour. Then we waited and waited. Nobody came by to ask us if we wanted another drink. I could've used some water at least. Then about an hour after our arrival, someone comes out to tell us they don't have the right sauce for our wings. At that point, we were disgusted and just asked if we could pay for our drinks and leave. It literally took the bartender less than 30 seconds to bring us our tab. If only she moved that quickly to get our food order. Never mind people who came in after us got their food before us. Seems like they cater to the regulars, and everybody else doesn't exist. I don't know how this place is still in business. Oh, and the bartender woman just nonchalantly threw the receipt on our table. Really wanted to pull a Karen, but honestly, that place isn't worth it. I will never go there again and I plan on telling everyone I know to not bother. Hopefully the regulars will keep them in business enough. Clearly they don't want to expand. I didn't wanna give any stars, but the lowest I could go was one. Poor customer service. Terrible attitudes of the staff. Total disappointment. This will be the last time we come here. Service was horrible. Waitress/bartender only serviced her regulars. I got a drink after 14 minutes but my husband couldn't even order a beer for 25. Couldn't get another drink or even water..waitress to busy with the kids at the next table. They came in after us and were served before others who were waiting. Others made comments. Salad was good. My husband's steak and cheese was awful. Couldn't get mayo to make it better. I had the seafood platter, it was cooked perfectly! I was impressed at the amount of seafood and it was delicious! However, I sat in the bar area, at a booth and service was absolutely terrible. We Didn't see the waitress for 15 mins after sitting, our waitress which was also the bartender was the least friendly I have come across (I've waitressed/bartended/managed restaurants for 15 years) and we weren't checked for the last twenty minutes, even though our drinks were completely empty. My mom loves this place so I had to give it a try while visiting! Good food, cooked fresh & very yummy! I wish the onion rings were thicker but they were still tasty. The fries were a bit on the soggy side, they should have been cooked more. The cheesesteak was awesome, loved the bread. The pizza was also really good with fresh toppings & fluffy dough. I visited here last evening with my daughter. I had shrimp scampi which was delicious. She had chicken broccoli Alfredo. Again very good. BUT I also ordered a pizza to go for my husband. The crust was as thin as paper. It looked like the dough was very old. This is a pizza company and I expected a good pizza. $23 for garbage. My husband threw it away it was so bad. My wife and son arrived and sat in the bar area. Unfortunately unknowing to us the bartender was also waiting on the approximately 5-7 tables as well as the patrons at the bar. She came over to us without few minutes and took our drink order. The maple bourbon old fashioned was tasty but was only filled half way with a full cup of ice. While we enjoyed our drinks it took the bartender over 30 minutes to come back and take our dinner order. Our food came out was mediocre. My wife ordered pastrami sandwich with cheese and mustard.....No cheese on the sandwich. My son ordered Chicken Parm dinner and he said the pasta tasted a few days old. It wasn't till we were done our meal till the bartender came over to see if we needed anything else. Now I know the bartender was busy but the Manager could have helped out. First time going and also the last. My wife was nominated a few years back during the Covid era as an essential healthcare worker to win a gift basket from the city. In the prize was a couple of gift cards to PPC for 50$. We didn't live in the area at the time so we just held onto them. We decided to go there tonight as a family of 4 with 2 kids under 2. The food took an hour and a half to come out. An hour and a half for an overcooked burger, stale chicken tenders, and a kids mac and cheese. It was Valentine's Day so we understood that there might be a delay but when we arrived there was only one party waiting to be sat and we were sat right away. Our waiter was nice but seemed a bit overwhelmed, admitted that he might've grabbed the wrong burger for my wife and did bring out the wrong kids meal at first. We get our 90$ bill, give the gift cards with cash to cover the rest and tip, to only get confronted by the OWNER saying he won't accept the gift certificates because they are not for his restaurant. I said "they say PPC on them". He states it's a different restaurant and when I asked if he could honor them, he stated "no, I didn't even get paid for them". We obviously paid the remainder because we're not looking for a handout or to make a scene with our children accompanying us, but will not return because of poor customer service on the owners part and (poor)ly cooked-quality food. As someone who owned a business in the food industry for a nearly a decade, it would've been worth honoring the gift certificates or even half the amount in hopes that customers would return rather than write a place off for something so minimal. We only went because we had gift certificates and heard in the past that it was good. Reading the rest of these 1-2 star reviews complaining since the new ownership, we're honestly not shocked. read more

I ordered Meatlovers Pizza and a Margherita Pizza. The Meatlovers was ok but the other one had fresh tomatoes that were pink bordering on white tinged with GREEN and not edible. They need to up their game to at LEAST acceptable. If I wanted green tomatoes I would have asked for that. read more

We enjoyed a large barbecue chicken pizza and were wowed by it's taste! It was really very good and probably the best pizza we have had in a long time. The crust was thin, flaky and delicious. The chicken was tender, the cheese plentiful, and the sauce very tasty. The drizzle of barbecue sauce on top was just right. The pizza fed two of us and we have plenty left over for tomorrow. I have been ordering from PPC for many years. They have been slowly going down hill. I started out with smaller pieces of garlic bread (which I could deal with) . The last time that we ordered wings we ordered ranch and sweet and sour. Tonight we ordered wing which came in a container that was half the usual size. The reason for this was apparently because the wings were half their usual size. I tried 1 and it had multiple small sharp bones which poked me in the mouth. Oh, and the ranch dressing that we ordered did not arrive. Needless to say we will not be ordering from here again. read more

My family went there for dinner this evening. We were greeted promptly , the food came out quickly and the pizza and three entrees were very good sized and tasted great. However, our server, a third grade teacher, is one of the brightest lights of a person any of us four had ever met. She is clearly a genuinely warm person who though efficient and attentive, still managed to be engaging and familiar. It was like we all knew each other for years. Woman who took our order on the phone was very courteous, we were told 20 mins and cost would be around $13. Took a drive over, figured we go in for a quick beer while we waited for the pizza. We will not be going back. I will start off saying we have been going here for years and the food in generally good. I think it may be under new ownership. The service was OK but there was only one waiter and he didn't come by very often. He was pleasant and efficient when he did. The place is clean and they recently redecorated. My wife has a garlic allergy..... life or death anaphylaxis allergy. This was explained to the waiter. She typically gets simple dishes like salads with vinegar and oil for dressing. She ordered a Cobb salad. It came with chicken, she said plain chicken no seasoning. The place was not busy and the order took nearly 1/2 hour to come to the table. My wife noticed "seasoning" on the chicken and asked the waiter if he was sure no garlic. He assured us there was no garlic. He said he wrote it down (which he did) and there was no garlic. My wife asked him if he could please double check. He came back saying it didn't have garlic but then asked if the allergy was also to garlic powder? He explains all of their chicken was already marinated and it all had garlic powder. I know they say there is no such thing as a stupid question but..... that was a stupid question as if it was our fault for not saying garlic powder (you one dehydrated ground garlic). The "cook" didn't know what was in the dish and never checked the ingredients. They eventually made a new salad with a piece of salmon. It took another 1/2 hour to cook. I slowly picked at my meal so I would have something left so we could eat together. By the time my wife's meal arrived mine was cold. read more

I have enjoyed the Marcella here before and found it very good. tonight I opted for the chicken Marcella which had far to much olive oil, chiken that had a lot of gristle, and the sauce itself very little taste. the plus others with us enjoyed their meal. my meal also lacked the accompanying garlic bread, so inconsistency seemed to be the word of the night. it is worth the go to, since things are normally very good. read more
