Every pasta I tried was so delicious! They had the pasta shapes on the wall to help you choose which was super helpful! 10/10 will definitely be going back

I hadn't heard much good or bad about this place so tried it on a random Wednesday. The atmosphere and service aren't great but for a nice, flavorful bowl of quality pasta, it's pretty good. I don't think it's the best pasta or value but it's quick and they have lots of options. I got the truffle and mushroom sauce with pappardelle pasta and added sausage. The sausage was unnecessary and just made the pasta more expensive. Based on quality and quick service, I would go again if I wasn't in the mood to cook some Trader Joe's pasta and sauce at home. But overall, there are better places in the area to get good pasta at the same price if you add a protein. Overall it's good quick place to soothe a pasta craving.

Pasta On The Fly, Maple Street. I rarely order delivery Italian , with the exception of Pizza, because it often doesn't travel well. Pasta On The Fly has shown me the error of my ways, delivering hot, fresh, very tasty pasta that made for an excellent dining experience. We ordered Holy Carbonara on Spaghetti, Olive Oil and Fresh Herbs on Fusilli, and Creamy Cacio E Pepe on Bucatini. Very good choices. We also ordered a Super Caesar Salad, which was delicious. Kudos, again, to DoorDash, who got the hot food to our door in record time. Thank You, Henry! Pasta On The Fly, Maple Street -- Four Stars. I would be happy to dine with Pasta On The Fly in person or order delivery again.

Perfect little spot for grab and go or to eat at one of the outdoor tables. All the pastas we tried were really great! The truffle parpadelle and holy carb with fettuccine were my favs. Should out to the cashier for recommending the carb!

    So many red pepper flakes.

I got the Spicy Sicilian but it was way too spicy and I love spicy food. The meatball was under cooked.

It was pretty good! Honestly, on par with what you get from restaurant pasta (both "lower end" and more "fancy"). I got the carbonara with a couple of subtractions and additions, and it was tasty! I definitley had to add seasonings at home but again, I've never not had to add seasonings to a pasta lol. The pappardelle noodles were the perfect size for being coated with the rich sauce. So, I wouldn't say that you should totally drop everything and try it, but if you're in the neighborhood and feel like loading up on some carbs, it's worth it!

I was having a craving for pasta, and this restaurant popped up on UberEats. I was excited to see they had carbonara and ordered it as well as the tigelle for delivery. And I must say, I'm impressed! It's so good especially the sauce and the tigelle is perfect. I highly recommend their food, and next time I want pasta I know exactly where I'm going! I did include photos, but please keep in mind I paid extra for the chicken and mushrooms in the holy carbonara. Also I did take a couple bites out of the tigelle before I snapped a picture.

Great option if you want quality food quick. Their pastas are freshly made and you can customize the sauce, shape, and toppings. I really liked the Spicy Sicilian (not spicy but flavorful) and I added chicken which was really good. Service was awesome. The owner and his team are really nice. It's a small place so mostly takeout although they do have 2 small tables outside.

I saw this place off Tik Tok and decided to give it a try. The place is so hot on the inside? There was like no AC going to the point where sitting outside in the humid weather was better. The food was very mid. It was very dry and the chicken was cut up into tiny cubes. It was $18 for this sad chicken alfredo. Olive garden would have been better for price and portion.

    Tigelle - something was off

Ordered on DoorDash - Pasta with red sauce was ok, I added bacon which was definitely needed flavor wise but overall it was not too different than throwing some prego on some noodles at home. The tigelle had a very foul smell to it when it arrived so I didn't actually try it.

    Pasta-less dish

The worst place I've ever ordered food from. Opened my pasta dish and saw a container of sauce...how do you forget the pasta in a pasta dish? Then, I opened my meatballs, only to realize they were raw on the inside. Never again. Wildly dissapointed and horrified. When I called to discuss my frustration and to get the manager on the phone, she hung up on me. Just terrible.

A Perfect "Old-School Meets NOLA" Date Night…read more If you are looking for a true "date night" atmosphere where you aren't treated like just another table number, Vincent's Italian Cuisine is a gem. Having grown up eating in New York's Italian stalwarts and traveling through Italy, I'm often skeptical, but Vincent's manages to strike a beautiful balance. It captures that authentic, old school Sicilian vibe without ever feeling tacky, all while maintaining a distinct Southern charm and New Orleans flavor. The Ambiance & Service The ambiance was exactly what we were looking for!! It was intimate, welcoming, and intentional. A huge part of that experience was our waiter, Greg. He was incredibly hospitable and kind, making us feel genuinely cared for throughout the evening. The Food The food quality overall was excellent. We ordered: The Pork Chop: This was the absolute star of the night. I would order this again in a heartbeat. It was perfectly prepared and full of flavor. Crab and Shrimp Linguine: The seafood was fresh and the linguine is clearly homemade. Wine Selection: They have a lovely wine list that paired beautifully with the meal. A Note on Texture & Coffee My only critique for the kitchen would be the pasta texture. As someone who prefers a firm bite, the pasta here leans much softer. While homemade pasta is softer, the penne was a little too soft for my liking. We specifically requested our side of penne be prepared al dente, but it still arrived quite soft. If you are a die hard fan of firm pasta, just be aware of the house style. I did not mind it much once it did come because everything else was perfection. We finished the night with a slice of chocolate cake, which was delicious. However, the coffee was a bit of a letdown. It felt a little watered down and could definitely be stronger to match the richness of the dessert. Final Verdict Despite the softer pasta and the mild coffee, I will absolutely be returning to Vincent's. The hospitality and the quality of the main courses make it a standout. I'm already looking forward to trying more of the menu! The hostess was also a real gem and so warm. THANK YOU!

I was referred to Chez Nous by a friend from New Orleans when I was looking for a caterer for my son's medical school graduation celebration. We expected about 30 guests, most of whom were coming from out of town and were excited to experience New Orleans food. The initial communication with the owner was good. I received an extensive menu, reviewed the options with my son, who considers himself a "foodie," and we ultimately agreed on a menu that included tea sandwiches, smothered turnip greens, grillades, cheese grits, baked brie, bourbon-and-brown-sugar ham with buttermilk biscuits, hummingbird cake, and spinach salad. A couple of months before the celebration, my brother and his wife joined me in New Orleans for Match Day. While we were there, we stopped by Chez Nous to introduce ourselves and make sure everything was on track. Unfortunately, the reception by Ben, the owner was very cold and made us feel as though we were intruding rather than welcome guests. I chose to give the owner the benefit of the doubt and assumed it was simply a bad day. With the graduation only about 45 days away, I also decided not to start over with another caterer. We confirmed delivery for May 16, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. On the day of the celebration, I had someone at the house by noon to receive the food. The caterer actually arrived around 1:00 p.m., which was earlier than expected, and I appreciated that. Unfortunately, the food itself was a major disappointment. Several dishes--including the greens, grillades, and cheese grits--were excessively salty. The tea sandwiches and biscuits were dry. The baked brie with fresh fruit was good, but the spinach salad was not prepared as requested. I specifically asked for the feta to be served on the side because we had a vegan guest, but the feta was mixed throughout the salad. The biggest disappointment was the hummingbird cake. It was essentially inedible. The cake appeared to be a sheet cake with an extremely thick layer of icing, while the cake itself was so soggy that it appeared underbaked. No one ate it, and we ultimately had to throw it away the following day. After the celebration, I contacted the owner to express my concerns about the quality of the food. I never received a response. I also found it surprising that no one from Chez Nous followed up afterward to ask how the food or service had been. Given that this was an important milestone for my son and a significant catering order, I expected at least some acknowledgment or concern when I expressed my dissatisfaction. I recognize that every business can have an off day, and I generally try to give people the benefit of the doubt. I was also particularly surprised by my experience because Chez Nous has many positive reviews. Unfortunately, my experience did not live up to those expectations. I will give three stars solely because the food arrived earlier than the agreed-upon delivery time. However, the quality of much of the food, the failure to accommodate the dietary request, the disappointing cake, and most importantly, the lack of any response to my concerns left me very disappointed. This was supposed to be a memorable celebration of my son's tremendous accomplishment. I wanted to provide our family and guests with a wonderful New Orleans culinary experience. Sadly, the catering experience became one of the few negative aspects of an otherwise wonderful graduation weekend.

We went late on the final Sunday of Jazz Fest, so it was a bit quieter than expected, which made for a relaxed experience. The standout of the night was the raw oysters--big, classic Louisiana oysters at a very reasonable $2.33 each. We've come to prefer the flavor of smaller New England oysters, but at $3-$3.50 each, these were a great value. For entrées, we had three fish dishes and a veal piccata--the latter was the only miss. Overall, we had a very enjoyable evening. Total for four, including tip, came to about $310. Definitely worth a visit--this is a true New Orleans institution.

We did have a late 9:30 reservation, and while I understand we were dining close to closing, if a restaurant accepts the reservation, I still think the same standards should apply. There were definitely some highlights. The crab cake was phenomenal, my crab stuffed fish was delicious, and our server was incredibly kind and gracious throughout the evening. Unfortunately, there were just too many misses to overlook. The meatballs arrived in a chipped dish with a long hair in them. Several of the cocktails were disappointing, and while my fish was great, the vegetables were lukewarm and lacked flavor. The crab pasta was extremely bland and watery with very little noticeable crab meat. The most uncomfortable moment was the chicken Parmesan. Some of the cheese stuck to the server's napkin while he was placing the plate down. He pulled it off the napkin and put it back onto the entrée. My friend tried to eat some of it, but ultimately didn't feel comfortable and left most of it behind. We actually stopped mentioning issues because we felt terrible continuing to complain, especially since our server was so nice. To their credit, they removed the pasta and cocktails from our bill and brought us complimentary desserts. The bread pudding and ice cream were delightful and we genuinely appreciated the gesture. I love the historic, old school character of the restaurant, but there was also a noticeable sour smell throughout the space that took away from the charm. Perhaps we just caught them on a bad night, but for a restaurant with such a longstanding reputation, there were too many shortcomings to ignore. I appreciate the hospitality and their attempts to make things right. I just wish the overall experience had lived up to everything we had heard. I also want to mention that a manager never touched our table. I'm almost certain I saw him multiple times sitting while on his cell phone. As a hospitality professional, this shocked me. With so many glitches I expected an apology or check in for the lapse in service.
