I'm going to have to say that I give this place a thumbs down. The Alfredo was okay. The cheesy garlic bread I ordered twice tasted like it was microwaved it was chewy. We ordered a pizza veggie extra artichokes extra mushrooms. It was very spares. We had to take it back because they forgot to put the artichoke hearts on it. The manager did put extra mushrooms on it. Just wasn't a good experience after I gave him a second chance. No their chance. The ambience was full looks like a bunch of Italians it was very packed that's why I went. It looked authentic but I'm not going to go back. I give him a four out of 10.

Steak special- so tasty and great price. Garlic bread is a must. Yum.

Instead of having Italian food, I opted for the streak special. Absolutely delicious! I don't recall precisely, but I believe the special is $25 dollars with 2 sides (lunch special). Highly recommended. Fantastic service with very well mannered young wait staff. Great place!

Never disappoints! Venezia is ALWAYS solid 12/10 quality of food! Truly an icon in Mid City. I would share that you have to be patient, as at peak times it is hard to get a table. Enjoy!

Food was good! However the service was not. Most servers were nice, except for the one who followed us outside just to complain his tip wasn't enough. We left him $10 which is reasonable for what he did, which was being us water once. I believe that action was unnecessary and his tone was very rude, it sadly ruined our last day on our trip and we will NOT be coming back. I believe his name was Carter or Conner he was tall and bald.

We ate at Venezia after attending the Savannah Banana baseball game. We were meeting up with our daughter and family, including a 7 month old, and we arrived 1st. They were delayed in traffic. I can't say enough about Ory and James! They went above and beyond to accommodate us. The restaurant was packed, but they never made us feel rushed. I felt terrible that we were taking up a table for so long. They assured us they weren't concerned. We ordered for the table before they arrived so that there was a short wait for food when they got there. The food!! Delicious! We had spinach artichoke bread, meatballs and spaghetti, stuffed shell and fish Cynthia. Impeccable! We will be back!!! Not just for the food but for the service. Kudos to Ory and James for making what could've been a dining disaster so enjoyable!!!

LOVE LOVE LOVE this place!!!! I've never had a bad meal. It's got that old school Italian mob restaurant feeling to it, minus the guns lol. Great service always. My favorite dish is the cannelloni...I usually order an extra roll. Go check out this family run business. You will not be disappointed!!!!

Loved loved my experience here! Came here on a Saturday night and it was pretty packed . Make sure you make reservations if not you will be waiting, especially on busy nights. So we started with the fried mozzarella . I also got the cannelloni and then my friend got the shrimp pasta. So so good. Loved the atmosphere. Our waitress Lacey was amazing. She was attentive, kind and great with her recommendations. If you're looking for Italian this is the spot to check out .

The service with Eduardo was excellent. He immediately greeted us when we were seated and took our drink orders. We started with the fried calamari and it was delicious. Perfectly crispy and paired with a superb marinara sauce. Next up was the entree which we decided to share because the portions are huge. We went with the Veal Supreme. It was excellent and perfectly cooked. It was a paneed veal topped with a crawfish and shrimp cream sauce. There was so much shrimp and crawfish that you practically couldn't see the veal and that's a good thing. We ended with a cannoli, compliments of Eduardo. It was perfectly crispy but so creamy on the inside. Topped with crunchy pistachios and 1/2 cherries on each end. This restaurant is a New Orleans staple! No tourist traps at all. This is where all the locals go to get a fabulous Italian meal! Ambiance is lightly lit with true Italian vibes and music!! Don't skip Venezias....you will never be disappointed!!

We saw on the menu that checks could not be split, which was fine even though split would be preferable to us. So, when our server told us the check can't be split but she can "take multiple cards" I was a bit confused and asked if she could explain more since that's what we might do, since she said it was possible. Already there she gave attitude and said I don't know how else to explain it to you in a rude tone. After we finished our food, we asked her to take multiple cards for the check and she told us to write on the back what to charge each card. I apologize that I did misunderstand what she meant, and put the items rather than the exact amount to charge each card. She came back and said, "you did exactly what I said not to do." So I said sorry and was in the midst of redoing it by calculating when she just snatched it from me and said she'll just do it. I had no problem doing it nor did we complain even once. After a while, understandably, she came back and basically scolded us, saying what if she was busy she wouldn't have been able to do this....but she said she could do it in the first place! We understood from the get go no split checks but then she gave the option of multiple cards so obviously we took it. The food was good and the ambience was nice. I enjoyed the open kitchen concept and seeing the pizza oven. But the service ruined it for me. I work the food industry and would have never acted this way. Nevertheless, I would come again but would not want that server.

Just cheese pizza. Of course we already ordered one for us and yea agree. No sauce, super thin crust and just a lack of good pizza flavor. Had the white and added prosciutto. Won't be going for pizza here. Speghetti also had an odd flavor which the kids not I enjoyed. Kind of like vinegar. The tagliatelle though was amazing. The sauce was spot on just a little too frugal with it. The truffle was a great mix and just the whole dish was a balance of savory umami. Would love to see a protein with it though. Tried the meat and cheeses which were fantastic as well with the accompaniments and fried bread. I really enjoyed the chicken patte. The prosciutto was good nothing exciting. The bresaola was ok. The matru, bocconcino, and Harbison were all good. Of all the desserts tried the lemon sorbet was best but thats from brocatos. One of my fav places. The banana cake was not bad. Liked how it wasn't that sweet if you don't eat the brittle. The chocolate coconut didn't care for because of the hazelnuts. Will have to try another pasta to see if they match the deliciousness of the tagliatelle.

It nearly made a perfect bite of food. The different textures and flavor profiles complimented each other greatly. The bread was okay, I have had many complimentary breads that were better. Kale & Brussel salad was very tasty. It was paired with a lemon/anchovy vinaigrette and thin sliced red onions. I believe the greens could have handled a thicker dressing and could have also used a sweet note, such as pomegranate. Spaghetti - It wasn't traditionally which is something we knew and wanted to pair with the drum. It was okay. I have had pasta with simple ingredients that were fantastic but this didn't hit that mark. It's the only thing I wish we wouldn't have ordered. Bolognese - Incredible!!! My Wife loves Bolognese so it is a dish we typically try when we go on vacation and restaurants known for their bolognese. This bolognese was compromised of short rib and pancetta. The beef flavor hit you over the head in the best way possible. Top 5 bolognese we have ever had for sure. Drum - Can't recall whether it was baked, seared or both. However, the crust was amazing and held up although it was served in a very delicious broth. It was paired with capers and fennel. Butterscotch Budino Dessert - I hate I didn't get a photo. My Wife doesn't like butterscotch however, we took a chance on this after the waiter strongly suggested it. It didn't disappoint. It was described as a pudding like dessert however, it was thicker.
