Brought in by RI Food Fights and I was surprised by the size of these sandwiches. Absolutely huge. That said, so much bread. It's practically a whole loaf. Sadly, it drowned out the flavor of the honey balsamic chicken which I subbed grilled chicken for instead of breaded. The chicken with, prosciutto, fresh mozzarella, honey balsamic, lettuce & roasted red peppers sounded really good. I left feeling pretty satisfied, though. Regularly a $15 sandwich, this is a great value. It was also quick counter service style, you could eat in and enjoy the old school deli feel or just do take-out since it's all packaged up ready for you to go.

The stuffed quahog is homemade and freshly made and they are not stingy with the quahogs also they are priced very reasonable. The snails are not thinly sliced at all. They don't give you all juice like most places do. If you like snail salad I recommend giving this place a try you will not be disappointed. The food is already prepared you can take it home to cook it or they will heat it up for you to eat it here. Everyone behind the counter has a particular section of food they provide service to. You can eat inside or go outside and enjoy the Federal Hill ambiance and view the waterfall.

Stopped into the shop to pickup some deli items to go (meatballs, caponata, and ravioli - pumpkin, crab, lobster). All items were fresh tasting and delicious. With my store items secured before they closed, we wandered to the Venda dining area across the courtyard. There was a solo musician to entertain the patios/courtyard diners. We opted for a table in the bar, near the wide-open windows overlooking the sidewalk. What a great place to people-watch and see some of the showy cars roll up for valet. The host and server were kind, obliging, and helpful. We enjoyed (okay, devoured!) the Stracciatella and Prosciutto appetizer: fried dough with a creamy cheese (mozzarella curds/shreds/cream) and thinly sliced cured ham. I'm not sure there could be a more perfect appetizer! We had time only for the one dish, but it was perfection! Food: 5/5 Ambience: 4/5 Service: 3.5/5

This is a great spot to get all your Italian needs satisfied! I have been here on numerous occasions and find something new each time. Fantastic selection of meats, cheeses, sauces, pasta, bread and everything and anything in between. Everyone there is super helpful and always willing to answer questions. My personal list of favorites include: Sausages, there Sunday gravy package and a wide variety of raviolis to satisfy your needs! Swing on by and buy and buy!

on this very rainy monday, decided instead of having to get dressed up and eat on fed hill that we would buy some ravioli and sides from here and stay in. amazing idea because their in-house made pastas are actually the best. we got the pumpkin ravioli for $8 a dozen. crab ravioli for about $12 a dozen and lobster ravioli for about $18 a dozen. eating 9 pieces of varied ravioli each making it plenty for 4 people, for a total of $38 is wild. the staff inside were super helpful about pairings and cooking instructions. and i always love walking through this market and perusing their selections. loved the marinated mushrooms and pitted olives too. will do this again many times. totally had gelato first before dinner while in the shop and enjoyed the beautiful ceiling and other store decor.

Came in because I saw a feature on social media about their coffee bar. Now I can't speak for the food, honestly it looked really good and I will be coming back to try it. But this was actually the worst coffee i've gotten in pvd. Not sure if it was just a bad batch, but I had to just toss it because it tasted like straight water flavored with a little bit of coffee. Hopefully some others had a better experience here!

My family wanted to stock up on fresh pasta before the recent snowstorm, and after I had purchased their fresh pasta during the Newport summer Farmers' Markets, we decided to take a trip to Tiverton and check out the brick n' mortar. The shop has ample parking outside- you won't be staying for long, as the inside consists of a counter, a freezer, a fridge, and a display case, all chock full of made to order pastas and frozen meals (love the chicken parm!). You'll be in and out quickly with high quality and affordable noshes in no time. The pasta can be easily frozen and stored to last, so stock up while you can! It's a small space, but the quality of the product is unmatched. We called ahead of time to ensure they had the fettuccine we were seeking, and the clerk was pleasant and professional both on the phone and in person. Until the Farmers' Markets restart in May, the Little Rhody Pasta Co.'s shop is fully worth a check out!

We went on Thursday and we were the only people in the store. When we walked in, there was a table that said bread, but there was no bread available. There was one cooler that had frozen raviolis and then another cooler that had fresh pastas in addition to fresh ready bake meals like chicken, veal parmesan and meatballs. I bought the spicy rigatoni, which was fresh and frozen prosciutto and cheese ravioli as they were not any fresh ravioli. The price I paid was pretty reasonable and comparable to the other store that I go to. My friend bought six meatballs, which were made of pork, beef, and veal with one package of frozen prosciutto raviolis. Her total came to about $30. I was so excited to try the prosciutto raviolis. Tonight, we followed the directions, even though we've made raviolis many times, but the raviolis split apart and the ones that didn't stuck together. There were 10 raviolis in the package I bought. They were very filling, I ended up eating about four of them, but didn't like the flavor. They were very smoky and tasted like bacon not prosciutto. I did like that they had an Narragansett Creamery ricotta in them though. Overall, I was disappointed with the taste and the quality of the raviolis. I'm glad that they have very good ratings and people like them because I always want to see a small local business succeed. The taste and consistency just wasn't for me. I'll stick with my other place as a ravioli are fresh and I've never had one thing from them that wasn't a 10.

Saint Martha exudes an old-world, Euro-Chic charm that immediately wraps you in a cozy, comfortable feeling. The details, from the original pressed-tin ceiling to the quaint glass/wood wall separating the kitchen, all add to the ambiance. We started with a complex Black Onion Garlic dip with house-made potato chips. Straight away, this puts everyone in a good mood. Our appetizers consisted of Roasted Farm Carrots & Beets, Lamb and Beef Meatballs, and Citrus & Radicchio Salad (party of 4). All were expertly crafted, creative, and delicious. Of special note, the sauce served with the meatballs was "finger-lickin good". For entrees, we ordered White Lamb Ragu, Roasted Lamb Loin, and Nettie & Ramp Pesto Fettucini. Each dish was beautifully presented and generated a lot of excitement at the table. The roasted lamb, which was perfectly cooked medium rare, was succulent. The house-made, melt-in-your mouth pappardelle pasta served with a ragu sauce put me in the zone. For dessert, we enjoyed 2 servings of a Frangipane buckwheat tart with Almond ice cream. This unusual creation was a homerun. A 32-ounce French Press was enjoyed by all. It's not easy to produce such a meal. Co-owner / Chef Keith and his staff deserve kudos for turning out consistent, extraordinary fare that transports you to a fine European café. The quality of the ingredients, all locally sourced, shine in every dish. If you want something special, look no further than Saint Martha.

I started with the Instant Crush, an upgrade from a traditional margarita. She had the orange wine which was bright, not overly sweet and surprisingly refreshing. Service was spot on. Ambiance was lively (small place with as many tables as could comfortably be set). Parking is easy. We'll be back!

We went to the front and ordered the butternut squash ravioli in butter sauce and their lobster roll special. Food came out in a reasonable timeframe, we perused the oils and vinegars while we waited. The lobster roll was a flop. Dry lobster on top of lettuce barely warmed on a non toasted hot dog bun. It's a ravioli shop, so I didn't have high expectations, but figured they have worked with lobster before so I had higher hopes The ravioli we got were also a pretty big flop. Raw uncooked pasta in broken butter sauce and no seasoning. The butternut squash filling was puréed to heck and reminded me of frozen butternut squash sides you buy from the grocery store. Not bad, but lacking. The fries and onion rings were good. Bagged but good quality, the highlight of our meal. The staff were friendly, and the space was small but cozy. I highly suspect the faults of the kitchen are mainly due to them not having dine in orders frequently. I would stick with the prepared pastas and make whatever you buy at home.
