I had this in my collection wish list, and finally gave it a try. We ordered rigatoni bolognese, eggplant parmigiana, shrimp scampi, and a meatball panini. In terms of value, the portions are huge for the price. The service was also prompt. We ordered on-line, and the food was ready for me when I got there, five minutes early. It was packaged very nicely as well. My bolognese was very rich and very tasty, with the rigatoni perfectly cooked. The person who ordered the eggplant parmigiana really loved hers as well. I tried a bite. Delicious! The shrimp scampi might have a little rich for the other young lady's taste, but it was also very good. The meatball panini was split and also enjoyed. It's weird that it's located in a gas station, but they do have a table or two that you can sit at and eat which is nice surprising where you're at. Service was quick and polite. The ravioli was good for the price but overall just ok. The baked mostaccioli I got the time before was also good for the price but overall it's just OK. They definitely ruined it with the parsley. The noodles were also a bit overcooked. If they are gonna bake something, they should definitely be putting more cheese on there. read more

second time I've been there. I had the Shrimp Diablo. It was outstanding! I waited about 5 minutes; that was it. Gonna try something else next time, (maybe the rigatoni bolognese) but it'll be tough to top what I just ate. Highly recommend!! read more

This place is HILARIOUSLY in a Shell gas station! WTF?! But it's probably the best restaurant in a gas station IN THE WORLD. Then again, it's 1 of the only restaurants in a gas station so that doesn't say much. Get some gas and a bite to eat in the fumes of gasoline! LOL. An experience for sure. Clearly a take out place if not obvious by the name, the chicken Parmesan and shrimp Diavlo are to die for! We served these two dishes and a vegetarian Alfredo for a party and so many people asked where we got the food from. Many dishes have asparagus in them which my kids are not a fan of so we asked them to take that out without a problem. Don't discount the food due to the location, it's worth it! read more

If you're in the mood for pasta, this is a good choice! For the price they give you large portions and the flavor on the food is great! There aren't many affordable Italian places out this way that have good pasta, so when I'm in the mood I tend to get this place. The shrimp scampi usually comes with asparagus but I opt out of it as I feel like the asparagus is the odd one out in the dish. The tiramisu is very tasty! The presentation of it with it being a take out meal was great as well. Overall, if you're looking for a pretty good pasta, try this place out! read more

Unbelievable pasta!! I live in the heart of the City of Chicago and picked this up on my way home from work. I was completely blown away by the flavors of the meat and sauce... they complemented each other perfectly and tied the entire pasta dish together beautifully. I think Pasta To Go rivals any spot in downtown Chicago and should be on everyone's radar if you're looking for a quick, high quality pasta meal in Elmhurst, IL. We have been here many times when it opened and it was being talked about around Elmhurst. When they raised the prices, we didnt go for a while. We had it last week and it was basically. The pasta with meat sauce had a herby bad taste. The salad had the cucumber with the skin on. Something was horribly fasting in the salad we threw it away. The spicy shrimp dish my husband had many times he said was off so that was trashed. Not good for wasting $70 ugh. read more

Pasta to Go is apparently popular locally, but wasn't on Yelp when I searched for it. So I decided to check it out. Pasta isn't my favorite food group, but I do enjoy it once in a while. The interesting part? It's located inside of the Shell gas station. Prices and portions are reasonable, and they have daily specials for around $5 as well. I tried the Rigatoni Melanzane. Great size, lots of fresh veggies, light marinara sauce, and melted fresh mozzarella cheese on top. My only complaint? I would love extra mozzarella, it's really good with the dish. Wow. Eating food from a gas station might seem strange, but wow is this pasta good. Ordered the primavera, spaghetti and meatballs, and the Mediterranean. They were all accompanied by garlic bread. Everything was delicious. The chicken in the primavera wasn't my favorite. It didn't have much flavor IMO, but the sauce was sooo good. I would order this again without chicken. The Mediterranean was also very good. All the flavor blended well together. My daughter fell asleep before she could eat, but I tasted her meatballs and pasta and they were good. Excellent food, so fresh and delicious! A few of our family favorites are the chopped salad, farfelle with veggies, antipasto salad, shrimp diablo, and many more. Just tried the chicken caprese panini, that was delicious too! It's mainly a carry out spot, do NOT be put off by the location- it's one of the best restaurants in Elmhurst! If you are looking for good, quick, and relatively cheap eats I think this hits the spot. The portions of the calamari, rigatoni bolognese, and meatball panini were appropriate and the food tasted fresh. Not sure it wasn't something I could cook myself at home pretty easily so may not be worth the price to dine out for if you cook often. In my opinion, if you eat out often this could be a good add to the rotation but if you eat out for one or two weekend splurges I'd recommend some of the other Italian places in town. read more

I ordered food from here for the first time tonight and I have to say I will be ordering again every time I'm in town. Not only were the portions amazing, the food was delicious. Neither of those were the reason for my 5 stars though. Their staff did that. There was complications on the delivery address I gave and one of the women who worked there went above and beyond to assist the delivery driver in finding me. I'm beyond impressed and they deserve every star. read more

"Don't judge a book by it's cover" applies so well to this gas station pasta take out place. Amazing pastas! We tried alfredo, osso bucco, bolognese and meatballs. Every dish was so well done. The chef knows what he's doing! PS: added bonus: it's halal for those who eat halal. read more

So I was on the fence on this one but Erin my significant other was strong on this choice. I never eaten at a gas station restaurant but pasta to go changed my opinion on this, to start everything was greatly priced for a date night we got an appetizer 2 entree's that come with A baguette and a dessert for around $35, the appetizer was cheesy garlic bread small but delicious crunchy and had the right amount of cheese! Our entree's were chicken parmigiana and potato gnocchi in vodka w/ shrimp, the chicken parm was delicious the whole time I was eating my gnocchi I wish I had erins dish the marinara was seasoned so beautifully I would have not added anything! My dish was also good the potato gnocchi melts in your mouth and the vodka sauce was good I think it needed some more spicy and heavy whipping cream for thickness but still delicious! We had huge portions enough for another meal later! All of the food was seasoned great and didn't cheat us on anything there was just enough shrimp chicken and cheese. Read about this place on Yelp. I had to give it a try because I love some pasta, but it's hard to get as carry out. I have to say this place was great. They were jumping with take out orders which is always a good sign. We had the Diablo and the Alfredo. The Alfredo was a steal for people with kids. My daughter just had the Alfredo plain and it was only $4.99. The Diablo was great and it's a huge portion with a lot of nice size shrimp in it. We'll worth it. I'd highly recommend this place to anyone. I just wish it were closer to my home. read more

I was really shocked when pulling up to pick up my order to see that this was in fact in a gas station. We placed a to go order today and picked it up about 15 minutes later. It was ready and hot. Very nicely packaged. Tasted great. We had the bolognese and the chicken pesto panini. Both were very good loved the side of peppers with the sandwich. We also had calamari which was good too. Actually found out about this place from tik tok of all places, and as an Elmhurst native I had to give it a try. Tried Shrimp Diablo, Shrimp Scampi, Bolognese, calamari and Tiramisu. All were excellently done. Highly recommend Shrimp Diablo if you can handle some heat. 10/10 will eat here again read more

So glad I found this place. Ordered the eggplant parmesan and chopped salad. Very generous portions. Each was large enough for two servings unless you are an exeptionally hearty eater. Everything is housemade, even the salad dressing, which was delicious. The meals are carefully packaged, and the eggplant was piping hot when I got home. Ok First..Gas Station food?????...let alone pasta...all I can say is for years I haven seen this place work related....and now I live a few blocks away.....and figured I had to try it becasue my daughter called me and said she stopped there and it was AMAZING...Well she wasnt wrong on the pasta...my samon pasta was amazing.....but do not and I repeat do not get the calamari....as the breading and the marinara dipping sauce was great the calamari was SO rubbery we had to threw the entire order out...But I will be back for the pasta read more

I had my usual 3 beers for our catchup session, namely: - Moreover hazy IPA, 6.5% ABV - Mango Double Marbles Imperial IPA, 8.0% ABV - Appetizer hazy IPA, 5.5% ABV For food, I had their chicken tikka masala platter for $22. My colleagues had a high steak sandwich with salad ($20), and an Italian Beef with fries ($18). All were delicious. There is now a 3% credit card fee. Overall, still one of the best Chicagoland brewpubs around.

We stopped in for dinner and several things went awry as soon as our food started to arrive. When my side salad arrived it came with Ranch dressing. Well, it was supposed to, but what came didn't look like Ranch, smell like Ranch, or taste like Ranch. I asked the food delivery guy for more, thinking he may have grabbed something else on accident, and he brought more of same. Bummer. Ate my salad sans dressing. Then the Kids pasta arrived, along with a side of carrots. And we waited. And waited. Then the Philly Egg Rolls arrived and the Baked Potato. And I waited. And waited. Finally my "meat loaf" arrived. Only it didn't look like meat loaf. I waited some more for the waitress to return only she never did. I had to get up and walk over to the bar, where she seemed to be busy inventorying liquor bottles, to ask her to look at the food to confirm it was the meat loaf. She immediately confirmed, then paused, then said "Um... no... that... let me check." and took my plate away. Some minutes later I finally received the meat loaf I ordered (which was tasty!, just that everyone else was done eating my this time). While I'm not sure what caused the Ranch to turn, the food to take so long and be delivered piece-meal (when it was NOT crowded AT ALL), and the confusion around the meat loaf (which was one of their "most ordered" items, so we were told when asking about some favorite dishes), I can say that our waitress was very friendly the entire time and apologized for the mess up. Given all of this, and the fact that I think the prices are inflated given the portion sizes, I don't know that we'll be back again.
