Alright, alright. Let me tell you, fast and friendly service. Little mom-n-pop joint with good Burgers. The meat was cooked to perfection. The ingredients were all working together to bring me this bomb burger. Jimmy Deluxe was a win in my book. I ordered it without mushrooms, but maybe next time I'll man up and get everything on it. :) Fries were very good. I was impressed. They were crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. Perfectly salted! Jimmy Deluxe comes with fries and coleslaw. Two thumbs up. Will keep on coming again and again

Jim & Tom's is a fairly large diner located off of Irving Park Road in Bensenville. Having visited here once before a few years ago and having tried a cheeseburger with decent results. I decided in passing by Jim & Tom's once again that it would be a wise decision to stop by and review the hot dog here. Before going on and reviewing the hot dog I'll give you a quick description of the place itself. The first thing to note is the parking lot, the parking lot is angled strangely making it difficult to pull out of your spot in straight manner. The inside of the restaurant is clean and it almost seems like it was either originally a house at some point, or had an addition put on to add more seating. As far as the food itself I stopped in and tried the hot dog with everything. The hot dog I received came on a regular non-poppy seed bun. The sausage itself was of the natural casing variety and had a very nice flavor and snap to it. Unfortunately, the rest of the hot dog didn't fare as well. There was a huge pickle slice nearly as wide as the hot dog itself. The tomato slices were a little on the sloppy side and not super appetizing. There was way too much mustard and relish applied to this hot dog as well. The onions were applied well,I noticed no sign of celery salt and the sport peppers were fine. The final kiss of death on this hot dog was a dry and hard bun. The corners and edges of the bun were crumbling as I picked it up. Overall this was a very sloppily made hot dog. Besides the generally superior to most places natural casing wiener, nothing about this hot dog was exceptional and there were a lot of flaws. The giant pickle and hard bun brought this from a below average dog to an inexcusable one star hot dog. While far from the worst hot dog I've ever encountered, I'd definitely recommend avoiding the hot dog here at Jim & Tom's.

I was patently waiting for my Chicago dog when I was asked to move three times by some jagoff. I wasn't bothering anyone, they ended up refunding me and kept the tip. Fuck that Amex is getting a charge back. All I had was attitude from the staff. I get it your servicing thousands of passengers but no need to get as nasty as the staff did in causing necessary drama, because "Latisha" wanted to move a crowd around. That's a management problem. Just another example of why O'Hare is a joke and clearly the staff at this location could be trained better. If they cant get a Chicago dog out in less than 60 seconds, clearly they dont have the adequate motivation or financial backing to help them be successful. Skip this place, go to F concourse. I had a dog with in 3O seconds of ordering from the Blackhawk's place. All I wanted was a Chicago Dog, and this place failed on every level, such a basic item, they couldn't get right and reflects not only upon the management but the ownership. Employees don't give two shits and lost all compassion for what it is to be human.

I absolutely LOVE Chicago Dogs, as living in VA, we don't have access to the authentic thing... So,…read morewhen in Chicago, I always try to hit a Portillos or someplace that has them and on this most recent visit I was too busy to get any while in town, so I ended up grabbing one here, at Gold Coast while about to fly out. I also equally love a good Italian Beef with spicy giardiniera, so I got one of those as well. The guy taking my order was friendly and when I asked which was better, he told me to go with the Italian Beef. I ultimately chose both and waited for them to be made, which only took a few minutes. Each sandwich comes with an order of fries, but I didn't want that many fries, but they don't sell them (or didn't offer them) without fries. When it came time to dive in... I started with the Chicago Dog and it looked decent, even with one sad slice of tomato across the center. It's supposed to have a small wedge of tomato inside it. The pickled green peppers were all at the back of the hot dog and there were only 2... so, I didn't get a bite of this until I got to that part of the hot dog. The rest of it was on-point! They even used a Vienna beef hot dog. When it came to the Italian Beef, I got the au jus on the side to dip and it came in a small cup, so I poured it onto the sandwich as I was eating it. Unfortunately, the beef was very dry, even though there was a LOT of it there and the spicy gardenia was basic and bland... I hardly noticed it was there. The bread was starchy and dense and not flavored well. Overall, this wasn't a very good Chicago Style Italian Beef sandwich. I really wanted to like this place, as it was my only hope for trying the basics on this visit, but I wasn't too impressed. If I needed to stop in here again in the future, I'll only go with the dog, definitely not the Italian Beef.

An army of people was cooking and I ordered a Chicago dog, which came with fries and was about $10. No bad. The meal was ready in about two minutes. Freaky fast .
