I love this place! Talk about a hidden gem in the neighborhood... it's always buzzing in here. They have a ton of tv's, a pool table, indoor and outdoor seating and a nice bar. I went here several times and had good service each time. Each time I went the place was full to near jam packed... buzzing with people who all seemed to know each other. There is a good mix of regulars and what seems to be groups of people who come in occasionally. I didn't see anyone get rude or out of hand and each group appeared to be having a fantastic time. I also ordered food here and it was actually good... as in better than bar food is expected to be. The burger is well worth ordering it. They have a good selection of bourbon here as well as many other top shelf selections. It's a nice place but it doesn't take itself to seriously. Lots of tv's so you don't miss a game! read more

I seriously considered giving it a 5 star rating but because when I called about happy hour details, the guy hung up without saying goodbye. Once we got there, it was obvious that the "nice guy" who waited on us, was the same one who answered the phone. Not a huge deal. We sat out on the back patio along with some frequenters. The pub atmosphere was similar to close by Shamrocks but the crowd seemed a bit older than the going crowd at Shamrocks. Happy hour was until 7pm and I wish that I could list further details about it but I didn't get the details, just that the appetizers were $2 off during the happy hour. I ordered the chicken tenders and the loaded pub fries. Both orders were huge and well worth $4.75 each. I would recommend Patchen Pub over Shamrocks when it comes to food quality and I would try it again. read more

First time here! I came to eat because the kitchen stays open until midnight and I was craving a burger. The place has a lot of smokers and smelled like smoke but I was able to get past in once they turned a fan on over my head. My food was pretty good. I had the Calpari burger and the homemade kettle chips. They were the best btw with some ranch to dip them in. The crowd here is pretty diverse and interesting if you like to watch people. I think most here this late are regulars as the bar tender knew them all by name. If you me hungry late and need an alcoholic drink really late check this place out. read more

I love going to Patchen pub! I've recently tried their lunch they have Monday through Friday 11-2, and it was delicious! They offer different kinds of paninis, fresh salads, street tacos, and soups! The other day I had the peppy chicken panini and the pear and champagne salad! I was impressed to find out that Kat, one of the bartenders, made the pesto herself using ingredients from her garden! I also love coming at night too, they stay open so that even when I'm done with work I can grab a drink and see some of my favorite bartenders and staff! read more

Ordered French dip and it was super tasty. Good bread and really great quality meat. Ju was flavorful and not overly salty. Had tater tots on the side and they were super crispy and fresh especially for take out. Two thumbs up. read more

If I could give 0 stars I gladly would, a buddy was performing at patchen pub so I drove an hour to get there, when I arrived a bunch of what looked to be under aged girls went right in however he pulled me to the side carded me and said since I was only 20 I couldn't be there. Not only a waste of gas but a waste of a night, not only did he say I couldn't be there he 2as just extremely rude about it. I won't even come back when I'm 21. read more

If you weren't looking for it, you wouldn't know the Patchen Pub is even there. I like that. Inside, is what you might expect from a neighborhood bar, and there nothing wrong with that. It was fairly clean, and the attitude I received from the staff showed me that they actually care. They were attentive, but not overbearing. I enjoyed a few delicious beers on tap (my favorite being Cougar Bait) and enjoyed the outdoor patio. But the food...... Reuben loaded potato skins? Yes and please! Buffalo style fried chicken salad? Well hell yes! This would definitely be in my regular rotation (and probably my favorite) if I weren't just passing through. read more

Great dive bar. Prices are fair with good pours. Bartenders are friendly and the owner is usually in their busting his tail making sure his customers are happy and taken care of, super nice guy-all of the staff are great. Great dive bar. The interior is dark and has an arcade game - I really liked the patio and outside area, especially nice with a heater for the winter. The happy hour seems great and the prices are very cheap. The clientele seems to be an older crowd but I would rather hang here than Shamrocks. The food here is amazing bartenders are awesome and very attentive. My girlfriend was in town visiting and I took her here. She had never even heard of beer cheese well let me tell you she fell in love with it. If I'm not mistaken the owner told me it was made there from his own recipe. It is out of the way in a spot not very noticeable which makes it that much better and more for locals. read more

It has the whole package of great drinks, good beer selection, well done bar food, very nice outdoor seating with covered gazebo, pool table, darts, frequent live music, good friendly service and great regular customers. Worst place in Lexington. The bartenders get too drunk and forget your order, end up double charging you/ make you pay for other people's drinks. The place always smells like weed and you will be asked to pay your bar tab twice ( even though you have a receipt) read more

What a well kept secret Lexington has!! The staff (Cassie and Rod) are first-class people who attend to you quickly and efficiently. They remember regulars, anticipate their needs, and are consistently pleasant. And the Monday Night Blues jam is sensational. A group of professional musicians show up, invite the audience to participate, and throw down some superb Blues, Boogie Woogie and ol' fashioned Rock and Roll. The talent pool in there is amazing! We found this place by using Yelp while we were out of town. Using that and its' map, we found it, but don't think we would have ever noticed it without that as it was a challenging location. It feels like a neighborhood bar should feel. Darts and a few other games are available. We all enjoyed it. read more
