I used to shop here regularly, but the quality has gone downhill. I saw them making roti, which was good, but then witnessed someone sneeze on the samosas without any hygiene precautions. Many of the sweets repeatedly have mold or fungus, possibly because they aren't stored properly or should be frozen. Some items seem expired, and I've gotten sick multiple times after eating from here. It used to be much better, but now I'm honestly scared to shop here. I hope they improve their hygiene and quality control.

I love this place. It has everything I want to get in terms of Indian groceries and food. I usually go here to shop for snacks and sweets. But sometimes I also buy their freshly made rotis, theplas (by Western standards, they would be a type of tortillas) etc. I usually find a good variety of savory snacks here that I am a fan of. Prices are generally reasonable. The service is fine. I agree with Mak B. who wrote about watching for the narrow aisles and weekend foot traffic. This store gets congested. A lot of people come here to shop and they are all of the place. Kinda ironic as the traffic from where I come in India is like that too. :-P I like their ice cream selection as well. Good variety to choose from. Some brands are pricey, some aren't. But I feel that if you are a fan of Indian ice cream, then if you'll generally find what you are looking for. Their mithai (sweets) selection is good as well. I haven't shopped for produce here so I don't know how that selection is. I would definitely recommend this place. Go here and check out all that they have to offer. It's worth it.

This is one of the biggest spot under the Franchise. One spot to get all the Indian Spices and Snacks. They started selling Organic vegetables too. They sell Fresh chapati(Indian Bread) that is normally eaten with veg/Non-Veg curries. Pros: ------- All Indian Spices Available Quick service Decent Prices Free Parking Fresh Indian Bread n Sweets Not too huge place but spacious Indian Snacks n Indian Dress store n Halal Meat stores in the same . Well this is the place if you are looking for any Indian Stuff.

Nice store...the lunch hour on a weekday is a good time to go. The produce section is lovely, and they have some items you will not find at Jewel (Thai eggplant, banana leaf, etc.). Got some fresh buns and chappati in the back since they are new to me. (Spoiler alert: I'm not familiar with Indian cuisine.) It seemed like they had a lot of workers, but I felt embarrassed to go out of my way to ask how to use certain foods (like the to-go section in front). Wished help was more forthright...guess I'll have to do some research before I head back! Be careful in the parking lot!

The new building is in a great location. The store itself is huge. The selection of vegetables is displayed so much better and the actual assortment of vegetables available is vastly improved. Instead of picking up your Indian groceries is out of cardboard boxes, you feel like instead you are at a real grocery store. There are people in the back making fresh Chappati's that are sooooooo good. They actually are giving out a free bag of Chappati's with each purchase. They are warm, soft and actually taste good even a day or two after your shopping. With the much larger store it makes it so much easier to find things which is nice. And you are not plowing each other over in the tiny isles like the old store. I actually found myself being pleasant to the people around me, instead of fighting an old aunty to try to get the "good" okra. I have a few complaints 1. There were not enough check-out people available. They have plenty of staff helping to find things, just not enough people at the registers. 2. There are no places to park the grocery carts outside, so if you have a nice car.....park far away to avoid a wandering cart that was left in the parking lot. Also since it is the grand opening of the new store, they are giving 10% off the total purchase!! I can't wait for all the other stores in the Plaza to open up soon.

I shop around with my family at Patel Brothers. The store employees are very helpful in making sure I get everything I need.

The fresh chapatis are great I have gotten premade chapatis before, but none that still hot and fresh off the stove.

And yes, in case you didn't know, while it's called "International", all those nations are in Asia. We come here mainly for two things - either getting ingredients to make hot pot at home, or just eating hot pot here. They also have dry pot, which my wife and I really like as an option. You grab a basket and fill it with whatever veggies you want, then a separate one and fill it with proteins, then you pay by the weight. You can either get it hot pot style in a big bowl of hot broth, or dry pot where they cook it in the broth but serve your food already cooked. As far as the grocery selection, they have a big seafood selection and a decent butcher area. Also a lot of Asia snacks and frozen selection, and a small liquor section too. Produce is fine. But if you're making hot pot at home, they have the sliced meat, soup base, sauces, and a little frozen fish ball self-serve area. If you don't want to eat hot pot here, they serve other Asian hot dishes, and there's a bubble tea spot and bakery here, but I haven't tried anything else besides the hot pot. Sense a trend yet? It's not as big as Joong Boo, and it's bigger than the current H Mart for now but will be interesting to see how the new one compares. Overall it's a fine grocery store and we'll come back when that craving for mala spice strikes.

This visit was only to take a return to their Amazon returns counter. I've returned a few things here and, while sometimes there is a small line, it always moves quickly. It certainly is convenient to have a return location so close to our home. And, Amazon/Whole Foods makes the return process very easy.

The reason I did is because I find that no matter what day or what time I come here luckily despite the very small constructed parking lot, I always find parking number two and another reason I really like this place is that I do my Amazon returns here and every time I show up here the line if there is one really moves quickly. Lastly, I really like this place because they're always stocked. It seems like to me at least and every time I come looking for something they always have exactly what I'm looking for regardless of whether it's fresh fish the specific scones I like from the bakery or trying to get some type of new organic gum mints. I will call out the reason that they are four-star is because they continually understaffed their checkout lanes, forcing us customer who already paying overpriced items to become temporary employees of Amazon and check ourselves out as well. I do not like self checkout, remove the self checkout.

Amazon Fresh gets mixed reviews. I like shopping there. They are not the least expensive grocery…read morestore, yet they are less than the local big box grocers. They are inconsistent in their stock - often gaps appear where something is out of stock. They also don't make it easy to find items where there are special needs, such as finding gluten-free items. Where they do have them, they are not localized in one area like you would find in other stores. We went in for a specific gluten-free item and just couldn't find it. We asked someone who works there and they said they didn't know where it was - that it could be anywhere. Regardless, I am usually able to find most of what we need. The discounts they apply to Amazon Prime members really helps, too.

We noticed 4 notable differences from the Morton Grove store which has served our needs pretty well given the Prime membership discounts that we realize. The most important one, and one the wife noticed, is that the prices here are more competitive than in Morton Grove. We surmised that was just due to the presumably stiffer grocery competition in Schaumburg. A second difference is the produce department has more offerings. A third difference is they have a Krispy Kreme stand here for what that's worth. Finally, a fourth difference is the temperature in here is actually reasonable and comfortable as opposed to the usually frigid conditions in Morton Grove lol. Overall, a pretty nice Amazon Fresh, and thumbs up.
