We had an awesome experience at this location. Robyn is a rock star! When we entered the location, we were immediately greeted by Robyn, who told us that they would be with us soon. We then heard her greet the couple who arrived before us. About 10 minutes later, she had finished the visit with the couple, and she immediately came and greeted us, and asked how she could help us. My mom had heard about Patelco from a friend of hers, who told her that it used to be a credit union for Pacific Bell employees (or something like that?). I was surprised to learn that Patelco has been in business for over 80 years. And even more surprising, that this Roseville location has been around for over 20 years too! So what brought us to Patelco was that Mom's friend found out about Patelco's awesome Money Market rates. They have a 3% APY for balances up to $2000. That's unheard of nowadays! We both were able to set up an account and take advantage of Patelco's awesome rates. We had an enjoyable time talking with Robyn too, who was very upbeat, friendly and knowledgeable. I love people you can just joke around with and ask questions without any hesitations. She was even sweet enough to give us a little goodie for opening new accounts today! I was definitely impressed by this location and with Robyn's excellent customer service (especially after having such a terrible one at their Elk Grove location the day before). Patelco Credit Union Roseville - Banks & Credit Unions Near Me - Roseville, California

So had 2 small external transfers done from 2 separate banks to my son's checking account (joint account as he is under 18). Patelco pulled the money successfully from the 2 banks, stated in the app that the transfers were successfully completed, but no sign of the money in the account after a week. So my son could not access it. We called Wed, Thur, and Fri as each time we called they stated the transactions were pending and they would post the next morning. When it didn't happen we would call again and get the same story-for 3 days. No one knew what was wrong, and no one kept notes or communicated it in our account info, so each time we called we had to explain it all again. On Friday someone did finally state they would escalate it and get back to us by end of day-it never happened. So we called on Saturday-and explained it for the 4th time and they came back with the exact same thing-it's pending and wait until Monday. We did not accept this at this point and spoke to a supervisor-she stated she would put the money in the account as a "provisional credit" so my son could access it, while they figure it out on their end. The account showed the money was there and available so my son went to the atm the next day (Sunday). At the atm it stated there was the amount he was expecting in the account and it was available. When my son went to pull out 10% of the total he was declined due to "insufficient funds". Ugh! We are so done! We are now going into the branch tomorrow (Monday) and closing our accounts. And getting all the funds in cash right then and there. I have never had such issues and phone conversations going around in circles for a few hundred dollars! These were small transfers! Very unprofessional and it's infuriating! Patelco took the money from the other Banks but then refused to simply put it into the account so we had no access to it. Very horrible customer service! I called and talked with several representatives by phone. At first, I was impressed by one of them but not the other two. They were horrible. He didn't know what was going on and or how to fix it. He kept putting me on hold for extended periods. Of course, he didn't say his name either. He said, I had to go to the Branch to fix the issue with my card. So, I went to the nearest Patelco. It could have been easily fixed as calling them and talking with someone while I was at the window outside on the phone. They don't have the branch hours, readily available only the 800 number. I had checked google before going because I wasn't sure about the hours. Google and yelp says, they are open.. I get up there and I see employees socializing inside but the door is locked. They said they were not open because of the fires... Covid yeah, I get it.. the hours are already limited to 10-4pm but don't tell me to goto the branch and the branch be closed when I go... I still have an account with them even though I've moved out of state. Its not much money, but every time I call for help, they are absolutely wonderful. My account was messed up due to issues that they were not responsible for. They spent hours helping me and they were successful. I have never had such excellent customer service. read more

Five stars and a thank you to the branch manager of Foothills boulevard Gina goldsby. I am a commoner with a simple account and when my car loan company was bullying me and charging me for their computer mistake, Gina invited me to her office and we phoned them together and she stood by my side while we straightened it out. She made me feel heard and understood the entire time and knew why it was important to me to have her back me up. The financial car company did little more than reverse their fees and was not entirely apologetic. However, in that moment, Gina lended her position, understanding, and strength and I felt like the little guy (me) mattered. I left her office feeling like a human being that had successfully unified with another, for a positive outcome. read more

Drove to SF to open an acct because their auto loan rates have always been competitive, so every car I bought I financed thru Patelco. Mortages, same thing. Applied to refinance my car with this credit union after receiving an offer from them. Was never contacted or followed up with properly regarding status. Then I received two different responses in the mail. One saying I was approved and one saying I was denied. This was so confusing and honestly the worst process I have dealt with. First I just want to say that I was pleased at first. But my husband and I recently moved out to Texas because he's in the military and we haven't switched banks yet. They constantly block us from using our debit cards. And I mean at least three times a month. Even after I was told they put notes on our account to not block them just because of a purchase in Texas. Also it takes HOURS to get ahold of them. Literal hours. I'm currently still trying to get through and I've been trying to call for an hour now. Do better. Please. read more

I fully understand banks have rules and regulations. I get it. I opened my account at Patelco-Fremont over 15 years ago. Whenever I had a transaction that falls within the grey area, Patelco-Fremont was always able to help, clear the extra charges, etc... They were always convenient and they KNOW my name. Patelco-Roseville, on the other hand, is a go by the book branch. I've been showing my face for the past 6 years, it's the same crabby teller that helps me. No smile or anything. Because my fiance is a non-member (she's been with WFB for over 20 years), they require her presence to be able to deposit a check (both of our names are on the check). The first time this happened, I was informed it's because the check was out of state and not local. OK I get it. This time around, the check came from a known local company; they still required my fiance's presence. For a measly small deposit. Yes, again, I understand rules and regulation, but Patelco-Roseville is killing the convenience factor. They've really lost the associate-to-member relationship. Why do I even bother with Patelco-Roseville when I can get the same treatment from the big banks.. Hello Mechanics Bank. They do focus on customer service. Update: Got a call from the branch manager and we did review what happened. The manager was helpful and did offer assistance. Unfortunately for me, it was a bit too late. I still appreciate the call. What amazing service I received from Patelco Credit Union! Anna Macias provided me the best service. In one visit she was able to approve me for a Pure Credit Card at the low rate interest of 8.45%!!!! I was paying 29.9% interest at Wells Fargo! What a huge savings! She also got me in touch with someone who could offer me low rates for auto insurance. The staff at the Roseville Branch is always helpful and so welcoming! I been a member for over 3 years. This credit union has great customer service. On every visit I am greeted by my name when I walk in the door. I never have to wait too long in line. Staff is very friendly and will help you out if any questions you have. They offer free checking and savings accounts with a visa debit card mailed to you within a few days. Just a small opening deposit is required. They have locations all around the sacramento and bay area. If you are ever out of the area you can deposit at any credit union that offers Shared Branching and get money out of CO-OP ATMs without fees. read more

Amazing to go into a place where the rep (Marsha) knew everybody's name that walked in. The staff greeted every person that came in and thanked everyone as they left. I have worked in banking/credit unions over 22 years and not once did a manager work Saturdays! This manager(Gina) not only was present, she helped the staff when there were more than a few people in line and was just as engaged with the members as all the other staff. Bill and Robyn were super helpful! The first day I went in there, I was excited to go back because I got excellent service! Unfortunately, the second time I went in there, they were both busy so "Lo" had to help me. It was honestly a horrible experience. I was not walked through the process at all, she was extremely rude and had an attitude. I believe she was purposely trying to give me a hard time. She even called me a different name and at one point said a very rude comment. If I had dealt with Lo the first day I went there I would have definitely not gone back. However, since I knew there were other helpful people in the building I just asked for them! Bill made me feel super comfortable throughout the whole process and walked me through EVERY SINGLE step.
