I did ask about the BBQ sauce and the lady did share it was not made in house. My sweet tea was satisfactory....for Indiana but would have been weak anywhere south of the Ohio River. Their cheese burgers are cooked medium well and served on a sesame seed bun with velveeta cheese. So simple, yet so good! If you want "everything" it's ketchup, mustard, dill pickles, and raw onion. It's still a cash only restaurant and not open in the winter months. This past summer we made our annual Redamax stop with our kids. They loved the velveeta cheese burgers and Barq's red cream soda. We also liked their clam strips. Redamax has grown in seating and size, but it doesn't change. It's the "simple" that makes it so special. You can't pass by New Buffalo without a stop at Redamax!
