I took my teen sons here after a trip to Bass Pro Shops. Service was good. Here is what we ordered. I ordered the wings with buffalo sauce. Wings could have been just a tad crispier but they were good. The highlight was the sauce. It was a good buffalo sauce with a slight sweet of sweetness ala TGIF wing sauce, though a little thicker. Loved it. One son had the smash burger which was very good. I liked that they use a quality bun. Nothing worse than a good burger on a mediocre bun. My other son had the chicken strips which were cooked perfect, crispy and flavorful. He had the buffalo sauce and agreed the sauce put it over the top. We definitely recommend and when we are in The Region, this is on our agenda if we're going to eat. read more

We were looking for a quick bite near our hotel and ran across this restaurant. Bison burgers with cup of chili and a side of cajun fries were heavenly! We paired them with their impressive selection of brews (dark and light ale) and they were exceptional. Nicole was our server and she was very sweet and attentive. Visited here for a late lunch on a Friday afternoon. There were a few other tables seated and the service was good. We ordered an app and that came out quickly and it was hot. Haven't used Yelp in a while but today reiterated why it's such a great resource. Found this establishment while traveling. As other reviewers indicated, it is off the beaten path but worth the effort to find. My husband insist this is a five star restaurant and he could usually care less about these reviews of mine. He stated from the old fashions he enjoyed to the tri tip chili and Italian beef sandwich he enjoyed ever bit of it.... Even though we are in cubs country! Great beer selection. I enjoyed one of the many burger selections with the Cajun fries which are spicy as Cajun fries should be. Bartender was helpful and attentive and we enjoyed the ambience although I think other reviewers were less than impressed. It's laid back but clean and classy enough for us. I've been here a few times and the burgers, chicken sandwiches, fries, apps are always good!! Not a complaint there at all. Servers are always friendly and kind. My last visit was a little shocking to me. For the passed week my family and I haven't been eating meat. I thought they would have some kind of vegetarian or plant based burger but sadly they didn't. So, we just ordered an app and quesadilla. Honestly I wish we would've just left because I could've made a better one at home. This place is always pretty clean. Went to the marina and it was closed. Person told us about hooters and the quick lube place and neither sounded appealing. Pulled up good ole yelp and typed in dinners and this place had 4+ star rating. Anyhow got directions and presto, we were led to a residential development on the backside. So if you're like me, don't be alarmed, this place, coming from the marina like we did, Waze and google/Apple Maps takes you the back way. Just keep driving through the park t lot and look for the park. We found this place cause we saw people leaving the pizza place. Anyhow, menu was perfect for starving families. Had something that appealed to everybody. Apps were really tasty, try the Birria quesadilla. Burgers were all tasty from seeing everyone's plate. Terrific local find!! Tons of local beers on tap and the staff really know them well, which really helps with recommendations. They also let you taste before you select. Burgers are off the charts good - we split the whiskey glazed bison burger and it was amazing. We thought the seasoning was a little heavy on our Cajun fries (making them too salty, not too spicy), but we'd ordered fried pickles and cheese curds as an appetizer so it didn't matter that much. My one complaint? They aren't (as of this review in July 2021) open on Mondays!!!! We feel cheated out of an opportunity to eat there again. Dog owners: pups are welcome on the patio. 2 stars because their burgers are actually pretty good... moving on: Service was terrible as a whole. I won't blame my waitress completely because she's not cooking or making drinks. We'll start with drinks. On more than one occasion we ordered drinks and sat back as the bartender did anything but make drinks. I'm not sure if there was a miscommunication issue between the waitress and him, but on every instance that she came by the table we would take that opportunity to remind her of our drink order that was still unfulfilled. Food, the burgers I have no complaints about. Appetizers as well, we ordered pretzels/cheese curds/egg rolls. All of them were good. The issue with the food was the duration, and accuracy of the order. Again, not sure if there was a miscommunication issue between the kitchen and the waitress. When the food came out, my 4 year old was the only one sitting there without a plate in front of him. I reminded 2 waitresses, only after the second time I mentioned it did someone notice that the order was still incomplete. 3 of our kids got the chicken tenders, and I must say that the oil might be old maybe, because they were really dark and the taste was just odd... the fries as well, our plates were covered in grease as if the fries came out of the oil and straight to a plate with all the excess oil. Lastly, the ambiance. If there was an abundance of people I would totally be understanding. However, there wasn't. When we were seated, there was 5 other tables(I counted). For this poor of service, and a lack of clientele it's just unreasonable. If they were overwhelmed with people I would maybe be a little more understanding. Overall because the burgers and appetizers were good, we chose a 2 star rating. But we'll never be back, give them a try so you can also scratch this off your "never come back" list read more

We used to love Big Time but this visit will be our last. I'm assuming this place is going out of business. So, the food is still delicious. Good burgers and worth the $17-19 they cost. But when a place asks you if you'd like ketchup and mustard, and plops a Heinz bottle on the table (normal), and then has a bus person run a souffle cups of mustard out to you saying " Did you order mustard?" -- then to find out they are charging us 50¢ for two tablespoons of French's yellow mustard? It seems a bit desperate. It's a burger joint. It's in their name. Charging for mustard and extra raw onions (the burger comes with). Again, very desperate. On the bill a total of $6.00 in extra fees for standard burger condiments. Lol Oh and then there was the 5% charge for not paying with cash-- debit card. No previous notice of this. I guess the concept of "it's a cost of doing business" is lost on these amateur business persons. If a business is doing so poorly they need to nickel and dime their regulars then they're probably getting ready to close their doors for good. More than $10 in extra charges since the last time we visited. New owners? Desperate owners? Maybe next time, when I order a Pepsi you should bring it. At least I wasn't charged for that. Don't go. My husband and I went here recently after a military event. We both had the same opinion after we had their appetizer, drinks and food. Bar area is nice. They have a large selections of beers on tap. The appetizer was not so good. We had their beer battered bigs in a blanket which were not the best and very greasy. Our main course which was a burger was not as delicious either. Mine instantly fell apart when I tried to bite it. My husband had the same issue so we had to eat the burger with knife and fork afterwards like a salad with ground beef since the bread was too soggy to hold up the burger. If you want a high quality burger spot and not spend anywhere near the price of five guys then this is definitely a hidden gem. Shout out to Tristan who provided us with amazing customer service even though we came in close to closing. The place is tucked away in an apartment complex which is pretty neat. Inside it's a small low-key dining area and bar. Tristan said that you could not go wrong ordering anything on the menu and recommended the big dog burger(absolutely goated). The burger was everything I could have dreamed of eating. It was big like the name, topped with bacon jam, brisket, fried onion strings, BBQ sauce, cheese, and over easy egg, with a brioche bun(I think that was everything).
