Absolutely delicious restaurant within the Seneca Allegany Casino. We sat in prime seating by the cozy fireplace. I loved that this place had options for everyone- vegetarian, seafood, beef, steak, pasta, salads... you name it! Everyone ordered something different at our table and it all turned out amazing! I personally ordered the chicken Alfredo and added broccoli and asparagus to it! The sauce was amazing ( not overly thick, not overly cheesy, just perfectly creamy and delicious), the chicken, veggies and noodles were cooked perfectly, and the service was great! We opted for wine and it was nice to see delicious bottles of wine for $30 at such a high end restaurant! We also ordered the calamari appetizer which was cooked perfect and had an amazing red tomato sauce for dipping. The margarita pizza is amazing! And to top off the entire meal we ordered the cappuccino creme brûlée . HOLY SMOKES- the best dessert ever! First time here. Restaurant upstairs out of site. Not a place you'll see unless your going to it. Which may be the reason for a Friday night it was dead. Two other tables besides ours. Staff was very professional and good. The home made pasta w/pork in a red wine sauce was good. Salmon special was also good. They had no traditional salad. The Caesar salad was a little heavy on the dressing would probably get on the side next time. Overall experience was good service was great. Looking forward to try other items on the menu. read more

My husband and I decided to try this restaurant and it was very disappointing. The only reason it received a star was because the service was good. The menu was seriously overpriced. Our food came out not even 10 minutes after ordering, signifying that their kitchen must have a line of microwaves. The cavatelli was mush, no firmness to it at all. The chicken was not seasoned and the sausage had no flavor. The Sunday sauce trilogy was more than lack lustre. The meat tasted like it was boiled, rather than seared or braised, as it should be for a "Sunday sauce". The isn't fine Italian cuisine, it's microwaved and lacks flavor and freshness. It was Avery disappointing experience and we will not return. read more

Wow! What an impressive place. Had a media luncheon here and the chef created some VERY succulent dishes. Spiced pumpkin soup with crab served in a pumpkin bowl. Pumpkin and crab-- who knew! Main dish was a ruler, cooked perfectly, I might add, with arugula and potato cake. And the dessert du jour... Creme brulee served in a squash bowl. Wow Wow wow!!! I am giving this restaurant 2 stars ONLY because the food was actually pretty good. Let's start with the service though, our waitress had a 5 top of ladies in front of us, so to her obviously getting a tip from them was her priority. We Had an appetizer that came out 5 minutes after I ordered it the split pea soup was amazing! To follow we finished our cocktails we ordered and she never came back and asked us once if we wanted anything to drink UNTIL 45 minutes after our food finally came out! Never in my life. Oh and a couple sat down beside us got there about 20-30 minutes after we got there and had their food on the table 2 minutes after we finally got ours. The manager finally comes over after the waitress took our bill he apologized and offered dessert which we weren't hungry for and said "well I'm sorry for the bad experience" and that was it. Poor poor management, he only cared about this other 5 top that sat down next to us as well because he knew someone at that table he stopped there over 5x before he even cared about coming to us. Maybe because we are young adults they don't take us seriously, but this is by far the WORST place to come to for service. I highly DONT recommend coming here unless you can't get into the steak house but then again I'd probably rather have went to a Buffett. Poor management and waitressing skills. Just trying to save the next young couple from the same experience. read more

My husband and I tried the Patria last week. We were very disappointed. It took over an hour to receive our meals, even though the restaurant was half empty. I had the chicken marsala, my husband had the seafood plate. My chicken was basically boiled, served in a very thin marsala broth. The chicken had no flavor, the only flavor was in the broth..My side was pasta marinara. Pasta was very undercooked, not even el dante. The marinara was akin to hunts spaghetti sauce. I was a chef in resorts and country clubs. I know food. This was undoubtedly one of the worst restaurant meals i have ever been served. Our server was friendly and knowledgeable. The two stars are for the meal. 5. stars for our server. read more

This is not the first time here. However, they decided to change the menu. You know the routine- streamline the menu to ensure better results. Does anyone remember this working? The food.. rigatoni bolognese is still very good. The alfredo sauce is thick bordering on paste, not good. The shrimp in the cocktail or alfredo are about 6-8 count and taste fresh (why the sauce is thick and drowns the taste, i don't know). The vegetable primavera was really good with marinara. The place has half portions which is great for multiple tastes for about same as full plarestrte. Nice layout for restruant. However, on Friday night in a crowded casino, there were about six people in the place. I hope it was an off night. By the way, if you end up here hope they put the braised short rib on the app menu. Every time we dine here, they exceed my expectations. Excellent food! Everything is positively delicious--from the appetizers to their Italian entrees, and we've tried just about all of them. I have to tell you though, the STEAKS here are amazing. Best steaks I've ever had in a restaurant, period. There is a steakhouse (also located inside the casino), but I personally think Patria's steaks are either better cuts of meat, or they are prepared better. That being said, the food is consistently fabulous, portions are very generous, and the wait-staff is very good, though perhaps a little slower than I prefer. The ambiance is very nice. The ONLY con to eating here, is that it's a little pricey. We only go to dinner here 4-5 times a year... but if money were no object, it would certainly be more often. For being in the middle of nowhere the Caesar salad and vegetable penne pasta with garlic and olive oil was pretty good. My waitress was very friendly and she was good at recommending the food I ordered. Prices were average. read more

Have dined here many times since inception. Used to be much better in the beginning. Linguine and clams used to be outstanding but has slipped to mediocre. Much better Italian can be had at Dipaolos on Blasdell and Pasquale's in Derby. Prefer to eat at Western Door when here but most of the food is decent. Their Tuscan white bean soup is VG and they sometimes have specials. Steaks are above par but one would think Italian dishes would be better here. Desserts are above avg., too. Service is a dice roll but usually suffices. read more

We stayed at the casino and decided to stay in for dinner. The serice was good. My children had the margarita pizza which they were turned off about. They split a peeled roma tomatoe on each slice with a big portion of buffalo mozzarella. Flavour was good but presentation sucked, consequently we brought back to our room one and half pizzas. My wife ordered the beet salad light on the beets but heavy on the arugula it was tasty. I had the striploin special with mashed potatoes. The steak was ok not worth the 40 dollars my wifes pappardelle pasta was rich and ok. All in all a 3 but generally over priced. read more

I ordered spaghetti and meatballs from the menu. The portions where huge but so was the bill. I wish I could say I actually enjoyed the spaghetti but I didn't. It didn't impress me and was rather bland making it not worth the high price tag. Service was good but rather slow. read more

Waited at least 30 min for entrees, pasta was cold, sent it back , Sunday sauce was tangy indicating that it wasn't cooked 8 hours , fettuccine was over cooked. Caprese salad had wilted tomatoes and basil paste. No table touch done even though we complained, host avoided us but checked on all the tables around us. Server forgot drink orders. We have been here a couple of times last year we decided to go and have a nice dinner Saturday this month 2019 I have to say it was not worth the ride this time the food was tasteless and mediocre My boyfriend had lasagna and he said the sauce was awful it was dry and he said mussels lacked flavor and didn't seem fresh I had pasta dish with wide pasta noodles and beef supposedly rib eye and strip WRONG it was tasteless and it seemed like a cheap cut of meat YUCK really...and it was 36$ We remember the tiramisu was great but they said we couldn't get slice we had to get the tour of Italy it was 3 desserts . We told the waitress the sauce was not good and she said "really, everyone else loves it. To top it of 2 hot coffee's with liqueur 12 a piece unbelievable. We figured it must of opened under new management.We will not be back this is not fine dining and way overpriced for the quality.One star for the bread read more

Our group ate at Patria last evening after watching a fantastic performance by Foreigner at the Casino. My wife and I had not been there in quite some time, the couple we were with go there often and had a great Calamari appetizer a couple of weeks ago, but said the Veal was not that great. As a former owner and chef of a successful restaurant I always try to not be too critical as I understand how hard the business is. However it was a disaster and they were not that busy. Our Calamari was average at best and I am being kind, our friends said that it was totally different than the last time. The Caesar salad was shared and all agreed that dressing was tasteless. Over an hour and ten minutes after ordering our food finally came. My wife's Veal Masala was like the beef on a Chinese buffet, kind of a slimy texture. My Lamb chop was at least an 1/12" thinner than the other persons at the table (consistency is key) and was ordered Med. Rare it came Med. Well. The veggies were almost raw not Al Dente I know the difference. The other chop was nice though. But the best was the Tuna my friend got it was 1/4" thick and had a grey color had been ordered Med. Rare and was hammered beyond well! They took it back and 5 min. later informed him that they were out of tuna! He then ordered Scallops with pasta the scallops were very nice, the pasta looked like Amish egg noodles and were tasteless. Everyone else's side dishes of pasta arrived 10 minutes after the Entrée's arrived! Two were Linguine that was stuck together in one big lump with Alfredo sauce not even mixed in ,it had been Nuked until it was inedible, my wife's pasta tasted like they had poured vegetable oil over it no, garlic or cheese flavor and was nuked crispy ,couldn't eat it. You could tell that our waitress was mortified by all of this and kept apologizing. You could see that the manager was doing damage control with the waitresses but not the customers! He stood 3 feet from our table with my friends Scallops and kept calling our waitresses name to get the plate and would not make eye contact or engage us, he then disappeared from the room never to be seen again. All this for about $300!! So SAD but they do have a great bread basket. L B read more

What a treat in this small area to find a place with great atmosphere, good servers, and best of all, flavorful food! italian upscale creative, but you can still order lasagna or spaghetti and meatballs if you are not into real Italian. Specials always include a home made pasta, today's was braised short rib ravioli...delicious. But the best is the osso bucco slider appetizer. It is a great braised veal on a buttery brioche roll. served with a salad which includes white beans, artichokes, Italian olives and nicely dressed cold field greens, in a light vinaigrette. This is enough for a satisfying light dinner if you are not a big eater, or a smashing intro to a great meal if you can handle more. The wine list is decent, the music is upbeat, and the servers are really nice, getting better with each time we visit. The place can be inconsistent, but you can never go wrong with those little sliders and a glass of Chianti. Prices are fair for what you receive, but don't go if you are expecting the Olive Garden, because this is WAY better, if a bit more pricey. read more

We ate here last night, July 18th. We were seated immediately, around 6:30 pm. We didn't have a reservation, and there was a nice crowd for a Monday, so we were happy to be accommodated. It was freezing cold inside the restaurant. We asked about sitting by the fireplace, and we were told by the hostess that it's no warmer there, and the restaurant is always cold. Once seated, we waited 10 minutes before we were greeted by our server Chelsea. She apologized for our long wait. We ordered drinks and an appetizer of Mushroom Crostini, which arrived in a timely manner. The mushroom topping was deliciously garlicky, but the bread just tasted stale...not crispy as promised. Once finished, we waited for our salad, a beet salad with arugula, walnuts, and bleu cheese. It arrived after a lengthy wait, and Chelsea apologized. The salad had exactly one piece of bleu cheese on it. Again, Chelsea apologized, but did nothing else. After finishing our salad, and our drinks were gone, we waited at least 30-40 more minutes for our entrees to arrive. We noticed several diners who arrived after we did, happily enjoying their meals. During this wait, Chelsea came over to refill our water one time. No explanation for the long wait time was offered, and she didn't ask if we would like a refill on our drinks. Finally, our food arrived...2 pasta dishes that take just minutes to prepare. Once again, the familiar apology from Chelsea. After all the waiting, the food was actually good. Angel Hair Pasta with Shrimp for one meal, Spaghetti with Marinara Sauce and a side of broccolini for the other. Nothing fancy, but tasty. Too bad the service will likely keep us from returning. read more
