The food is passable. However, BEWARE that they include a 20 percent gratuity in the price of your meal. They then have the nerve to have a space for the tip at the bottom of the receipt. So. 3.5. Came here to celebrate my friends birthday. Two of us arrived on time, but the third member was extremely late. They allowed us to sit at the bar while we waited. Since it was over an hour wait, we decided to just get a table and order and wait there. The staff here was very welcoming and understanding. I thought we were going to be seated inside, but we were taken outback, which to my surprise, was heated! Once seated, it took a bit, but a sever came over and took our orders. Unfortunately, our server wasn't as welcoming as the other staff, and that seemed to be a continuous theme with him. We all ordered steak and eggs with a side grits. The food didn't take too long to come out, but wasn't the quickest either. The food was great, we all had no complaints there. My friend asked the salt and pepper and that request was ignored, and my other friend inquired 30 minutes later, which was then brought over. Every other request was met with a side eye or an attitude-- we didn't understand because we didn't ask for much, he never checked on us, never provided water, and when it was time for dessert, I was provided a dirty spoon. The hostess saw me relentlessly attempting to get his attention and came over and was very apologetic-- I just didn't care to be ignored and didn't understand why he such a poor disposition. The vibe was pretty cool otherwise-- they had a DJ and played mostly reggae and a little R&B. I was a little turned off by the server, but say this is a decent brunch option for 90 minute bottomless mimosas. Came here after a Broadway show, and it was nice. I mad a reservation on open table for 8, got there around 815 and they sat us immediately. The vibe was great. Good music, and the space is very pretty. The only reason they don't have 5 stars is because the service was slow. It took them a while to bring the food. We ordered some drinks which were absolutely delicious! Also ordered the tomahawk steak for 2, creamed spinach (which never made it to the table until our meal was done). Fries, asparagus and crab cakes. The crab cakes were good, but some still had pieces of shell in them. They gave us 3 balls for about $19 i think. The asparagus was delicious. Idk what kinda glaze they put on the asparagus but it was sooo good. The fries were regular. The steak was pretty good. I felt it needed a bit more seasoning, but all in all it was good. It was served beautifully and the fat on the plate was great for dipping. All in all, i would return here. They have a dope brunch menu which i would love to try. 4 out of 5 cuz they forgot my spinach and the service was a bit slow. It's also black owned, so that's always a win win for me. DISCLAIMER: This meal was comped since I won a contest. Came her after a rejuvenating jaunt in Brooklyn botanical gardens. Great vibes from this place. Seated inside, adjacent to the backyard so a good distance from the DJ's tunes while still able to appreciate the music. Ordered a delicious mojito that was strong AF. Came to Patrick Steakhouse for a Business/Birthday dinner.. so i been seeing post on IG and read reviews about the food and ambience and i must say that the reviews were correct the VIBE of PSH was so bomb for a Monday night , they had a live DJ playing the best of the 90's and 00's so good music CHECK.. when you walk in they ask if you want to sit in the front or the back which is like an inside outside patio where the DJ is set up at .. when you walk into the space in the back you'd think it would be a lil chilly but it s NoT its nicely heated and very inviting to sit down and listen to music and enjoy a good meal .. so as we sat and talked business the waitress came over to tell us the CHEF Special and the drink of the day ... we went with the drink of the day a Soral Hennessy mojito .. which was a 2 on mixed drink scale so for appetizers I ordered the Sopa de mussels which was Sooooo GOOD!!! 10/10 chefs kiss frfr.. the broth which consisted of plum tomatoes, garlic , basil, white wine , fennel and white wine and you can taste every flavor listed and no they give you this nice soft bread to dip in the broth and they give you a lemon wedge that's in a mesh bag for you to squeeze over the mussels and i love the bag over the l lemon cause the juice don't get on your fingers great idea !!! Service with a smile. One thing I can say about this place is they serve big portions. I had previously went to a well established steakhouse and the food and service was depressing. Coming to Patrick's was a breath of fresh air. The crab cakes were really good and the sauce with it was great. I don't have any pictures of the mojito but it was awesomeness. I had Patrick Steakhouse on my yelp to do list so I came with my daughters for dinner on a random Sunday. We arrived about 7pm we didn't have to wait for a table. The backyard was full so we was seated inside. There was a good selection of music playing. Our waitress Bella was very pleasant. The appetizers: crab cakes & coconut shrimp was good. I do wish we had all got our own crab cakes thought lol. We didnt know it would only be 3. They were good though & so was the sauce on the side. I ordered the salmon w mashed potatoes and veggies. I didnt care for the salmon as it was a bit dry. I did enjoy the veggies. One daughter ordered a steak. She wasn't really impressed And my other daughter chose the lamp chops. Honest review. The steak was HORRIBLE a huge piece of uneven cooked meat ( not thawed before cooking). There was ZERO seasoning. It was burnt on one end and partially cooked on the other. I felt bad about such huge piece of meat being wasted so I didn't complain. but when I got my receipt it read $56 instead of $48. The shrimp were really good. NOT your socks off but definitely worth the price. The Drink was AMAZING so good the vegetable melody was also very delicious. So if you come either come early or eat the lunch menu. The steak was a no go. I left it out for some doggy to have......If they want it. I didn't even tip ( they take gratuity) or take a pic of that awful steak. I will update with photo. First and foremost, the food at Patrick's Steakhouse was great, so I'm not sure why it has such low ratings. Since the reviews were bad, I was reluctant to come here. We mostly came here because it's black-owned! The hostess and our servicer both provided excellent service. Despite not having a reservation, the hostess was accommodating and pleasant. The atmosphere was also pleasant. Good Caribbean and R&B songs from the 1990s to the 2000s. Customers can choose between inside and outdoor seating. The bone-in rib eye steak, the PJs burger, and a drink were what my husband and I had ordered and are reflected in the photos. The ribeye steak was perfectly done. He asked for a medium-rare steak, which was delivered. The meat tasted good and was juicy. He also had cream spinach, which was tasty; however, needed more heavy cream and cheese. My burger was cooked medium-well as I had requested. The cheese was properly melted and wasn't mushy, the bread was toasty, and the burger was good. My french fries had the proper amount of seasoning; they weren't overly salty or underseasoned. Finally, my drink was alright. This is an area they can improve on. I asked for a strawberry daiquiri and was given a Jamaican rum punch that was semi-frozen. The drink was decent and a bit potent, so I didn't raise a stink over it. On what was most likely our 10th and last visit here last night, they served me a rotten rancid steak, to the point that people were covering their noses with their napkins, including myself. Even the waiter said "yeah, it's bad." A previous review on here also said the same thing about their steak, "rancid." They took the steak away and removed it from my check (I did not consume any of it, thankfully). I wound-up just having my mashed potatoes for my meal, although they did offer to get me something else. No other comps. No, "Sorry for serving you a rancid steak, have a drink on us." There's no way you could pull that steak out of the fridge and not smell it when it's rancid. They had a health code violation issued in March 2023 for, among other things: "Food, supplies, and equipment not protected from potential source of contamination during storage, preparation, transportation, display or service." As mentioned, we've been here a few times (I even spent $2,000.00 on a birthday dinner here when it first opened) and each time the steak comes out rare even when ordering it med-well. We really wanted to continue supporting this business (despite the exceptionally overpriced menu and the forced gratuity, which they say to some of the review responses on here that it is "optional but common in NYC"), but we can't believe that you'd serve a rotten steak to a customer as you did. read more

Me and a few of my family members had a birthday celebration dinner on Saturday night. It was my second visit to the restaurant Referred -- by a coworker. The waitstaff was friendly and made the birthday celebration very special.The food is fresh and very tasty. We were served our food in a timely manner. I hate to say this (the word will spread) but Patrick's Steakhouse really is one of Brooklyn's hidden gems. The staff was really nice and asked our opinions about the food which I appreciated because they were a new restaurant. My friend said her creamed spinach needed more cream, it tasted like just straight spinach. The drinks were strong and every drink we had tasted so good! I really loved the vibe of this place. I visited Brooklyn for the weekend and came across this place while walking around the city. They have a dine in section in the front, which is real romantic. In the back gives you a lounge feel, with Jamaican/Afro beats. I loved the decor where you can take pictures. My drink was delicious and the lamb chops were so delicious. Honestly, I found this place through my cousin who had her birthday here. I would have sadly never come here otherwise. The drinks were fantastic (moscow mule -hello homemade ginger beer!!! and the lychee martini was to die for)... fast forward two months later I come back with my husband .... lamb was fantastic and chicken... was one of the best chicken he has ever had.
