I purchased a GMC Sierra from the sales consultant, Bill Meszaros. It was the easiest most laid back vehicle purchase of my life. They let me take the truck home for the weekend, before I bought it, to make sure I liked it. I did, obviously. I enjoyed working with Bill, and will buy my next vehicle from him, and have sent several folks in to see him that needed cars. Even though my sales experience was excellent, this dealership really shines in its service department. It is probably important to point out that this dealership is small. Small enough to still value personal service and mutual respect. I have had a few minor problems with the truck. They fixed them for free, which I expected, but they also provided a free loaner vehicle while they did the work. I didn't expect that, but really do appreciate it. I did not even have to ask for a loaner, they just had it waiting for me when I got there! I decided to write this review because the last time I was there, I forgot to give them back the keys to their loaner car. I live about 45 minutes from the dealership. I was ready to bring them the key, when their service director, Kristina Rousch, told me over the phone that she would be driving by the area I live on her way home from work, and that she could meet me somewhere near me to pick up the key. The thing that prompted this review is not the great people, great prices,and great service, to me that's a given BUT the bad review I just read......WHY????? My husband and I have bought both new and used vehicles from Patriot and while Bill M. is my favorite, everyone has been knowledgeable and friendly. Did ya'll know Patriot is owned by brothers???Well, it is and their reputation matters to them. They have listened to us and worked hard to get us the right vehicle, be it new or used. I hate, just hate walking onto a car lot. Being eyed by everyone and that lucky salesperson running up to pick your bones :) Well it turned out different, We have enjoyed getting to know the staff. Imagine that! We have been through a lot over the past year and Patriot has helped us. Bill sent flowers for our wedding and called to follow up when we were in the hospital after a car crash and surgery. All I ask is go by and meet the folks, I bet, like us you'll be glad. OH, and ask for "wild" Bill whose really very mild mannered but he does have a sparkle in his eye. read more

Once again I brought my Buick Lacrosse to Patriot for an oil change. This time I called to see if they had time to get me in today (it was already 4:45pm) or if I should bring it in the next day. I was told that they had time to get me in right then. I showed up and Steve was waiting for me with the garage door open. I went into the waiting area, was offered a donut and coffee like usual. By the time I had sent out a few emails, and made a phone call or two I was told my car was ready. The service I receive here is amazing and I am glad to see a company in Williamsburg still provides excellent customer service. The dealership has an outstanding record of quality customer service. When I dropped off my vehicle for my scheduled service appointment, I was greeted by a very friendly group of service advisors. My service advisor, Kristina, accepted my vehicle and acknowledged what services I was to have done. She arranged a loaner vehicle so I would have transportation while my vehicle was in the shop. The work was completed as promised and my vehicle delivered back to me in a very clean condition. All work was done very professionally with a high level of attention to detail. Excellent staff made me feel right at home. I usually just take my car to Jiffy lube or Walmart for my oil change but after a while you get sick of being just another face in the crowd. Well on a whim I decided to give Patriot a try and boy am I glad. For one they have a breeze way so I didn't have to walk in the rain and I was greeted right away and led to a comfortable waiting area with donuts and coffee. we had come in there looking to trade our main vehicle that is a VW Jetta. I saw the Avalanche and knew it was not a possibility for the trade we were looking to do, but loved the color and truck. After thinking about it over night, I decided to stop back in the next day and trade in my Nissan, our secondary vehicle. I talked to David, explained where I wanted to be payment wise and what I had for a trade. Within 24 hours, I was going home in the Avalanche with all the criteria I had explained and expected. Everyone at the dealership from the salesmen to Mr. Steve and his service department team are friendly, personable and make it a point to give excellent customer service. Took my vehicle in for routine maintenance and an issue with the rear heat seats. In solving this issue, a problem surfaced with the entertainment system. Although, I had to leave my Yukon Denali in the service department two different times for the issues, Rigo and the technicians made every effort to accomodate my use of a loaner vehicle and advising me on the status of the service of the vehicle. I can't imagine going to another dealership"anywhere"!!!! I have deiivered and picked vehicles all over Virginia and the Carolinas,mostly very large dealerships. makes me hate leaving jamescity county. I've been dealing with Patriot since 1987 and would go nowhere else"EVER"! I can't even imagine starting all over at a new dealership. I've gone to the big dealerships,never again. Brought in my Pontiac Solstice '07. for oil change. was notified I need scheduled maintence.. ie..tires rotated, filters fluids etc as well ..As usual, Steve explained everything to me and I fully trusted him to make sure it was all done to my expectations..
