Patriot Chimney has ghosted me since January 3 2024. Scotty charged me almost $300 for a service call and a tarp for my chimney. On January 29 2024 I actually asked Scotty directly if he was purposely ghosting me and he responded that he was not ghosting me, he was just busy. They came.by to brush and inspect the chimney, which was performed quickly and cleanly. Turned out the bricks lining my firebox were literally falling out. Brian tore out and rebuilt he entire fireplace in one days work. My house was built in 1948 so nothing was square or plumb. Almost each brick had to be cut by hand to fit into place. So we had them out at the end of September to check and possibly clean our chimney. When they came here they were great. We agreed to get some glass doors installed and would hear from them about a quote. After almost a month of not hearing anything I reached out to them and they and was told I'd have my quote that afternoon cause they were walking into were they source them from. It's now December and after four more calls and about five more text messages I have heard nothing back. read more

I have reached out probably 30 times with one response that they would look into getting the right parts to fix my issues. If I run my fireplace my smoke alarms go off, they installed the cheapest remote system possible and if it's raining the amount of noise is insane so I have asked for a new chimney cap. We have had a VERY unfortunate experience with Brian and his company. After having multiple remodels on different parts of our house over the last several years, this is the most unresponsive, unreliable, misrepresented customer service we have ever experienced. We settled on a project that escalated from a simple cleaning to a $15,000 remodel job of the fireplace. After our first in-person meeting on Oct 12th, when Brian said they could start next week and the project would last 5-7 days, we have multiple times requested stone samples and in-person meeting which have gone unanswered or basically no-showed. After reading so many great reviews this has been truly disheartening because we would prefer to do business with local business and veterans even more! If I could give less than one star, I would! Sadly, this is not a misrepresentation and thankfully we hadn't paid anything yet! We cancelled the original visit in March due to COVID! You are right that we escalated the cleaning to a remodel based on our meeting and your reviews. You never asked us to sign a bid. You are correct that communication was terrible! read more

I sent a request in because we had raccoons in the chimney. We managed to get them out ourselves. patriot had messaged me back right away but I missed it because we were working on solving it ourselves at the time. Either way, I wrote him back afterwards and he gave me some tips for it to not happen again. He made no money off of me but was still willing to help. After cleaning our dryer vent and sweeping the chimney, we saw that they bent or left a vent pipe half connected. We called repeatedly asking them to come and fix it. We were repeatedly told they would do so on this day or that. They have never showed up. This level of professionalism makes us wonder what kind of job they did with the cleaning the fireplace and the dryer vent. read more

Can't say enough about their service. I was having dryer difficulties and wasn't sure if it was the dryer itself, or the dryer vent. As soon as they arrived, they quickly diagnosed the issue( bird nest in the exit vent), told me the price I was looking at, and got to work. The birds had broken the vent cover, so that needed to be replaced, and they cleaned the pipes to be sure. These guys are awesome! I needed my chimney checked ASAP because I wanted to use it for my Friendsgiving event. Everyone else was booked out until Jan 2020 and these guys came out the same week of my request and got me fixed up.
