All of the big name interstate movers turn down small sized interstate moves. I must have called 12 different movers; which included the well known companies and some of the smaller ones. The local companies are happy to take your business for intrastate moves; but not interstate moves. I was concerned when no contract was required by Brandon. However, this guy can be trusted to perform what is agreed upon with just using text messaging. He is also very careful with fragile pieces; taking great care in delivering them in one piece. Some movers suggested shipping our boxes. However, this is not an inexpensive option. Plus ,unlike Brandon, who carries your boxes out of the unit and into your destination ( we have three levels ); the usual shippers require delivery to the store and drop off at the eventual destinations front stoop. I simply was putting it into a more obvious place than the ground. After all if I dropped something I'd appreciate someone picking something up if I dropped it. No good deed goes unpunished here apparently. I was so flabbergasted I didn't respond with a better explanation but it's a situation I never should've happened. The only reason I have given them two stars rather than one is because the gal at the counter was very nice as she usually is. Still overall disappointed with the whole experience.

This used to be a store where people with limited means could walk in and find something decent and affordable to wear. I don't understand how items that are donated for free are now being priced at $12. That feels like an excessive markup for a thrift store. Thrift stores are meant to serve community members who are struggling and help meet basic needs. Adding the word "vintage" to the name doesn't seem like it should justify doubling prices. It feels concerning that an organization that claims to support children may now be putting additional strain on families who are already having a hard time, especially when the merchandise is donated. The shift reminds me of the pricing philosophy at Goodwill Industries International, which is one reason I stopped shopping there. I used to be a weekly customer. Now I only stop in occasionally if I happen to be nearby. Overall, this has been very disappointing.

I Called and scheduled for these guys to come move me. I was very impressed with the way they not only suggested different options but also saved me money. When I was giving a quote is was expecting some high prize but they were actually cheaper then I imagine. I was shocked when u realized the day of the move I wasn't gonna have everything packed before the guys had gotten there like I had told them over the phone I would have...by my surprise that wasn't a problem for Kevin and Carl as they were more then happy to help me finish up the packing that needed to be done. not only were they very professional, on time, and even saved me money but they are very hard working but courteous, passionate, polite and very helpful....I will recommend these guys to all my friends !! This weekend 8/27 my family and my self moved into our new home. I call around and received quotes, from a few different moving companies. I choose this company, because he knew what he was talking about, he just made me feel at ease. This is my first time moving and Chris was so helpfully from the beginning. He sent us 3 movers, Carl, Enrique, and Kevin. They showed early, and gave us a call letting us know they were 5 min away. They wasted no time at all packing and moving. They thought of things and solutions i didn't even acknowledge. I hear so many horror stories when moving, I am grateful to say these men where honest, hard working and so professional. At 3pm, now that my day is completely shot and I have no opportunity to hire someone else, Johnny sends me a text...."sorry my guys flaked out on me". I was dumb founded and furious. Johnny sent another text and said "there was nothing he could do and I should just hire someone else". REALLY? Thanks. Now that it's after 3pm, I should hire someone else for a same day move. I have no words for how I was treated and how severely messed up his company, response and lack of professionalism was. Needless to say, I WILL NOT be recommending this company as a reliable source for moving help. And this is the kicker...I've used them before. I am a repeat customer and this is how I was treated.
