However that changed when I purchased my parent's home which had, at the time in the Spring of 2023, a 4 year old above ground pool purchased from Gallaghers and serviced by them from the beginning. When I noticed rust on the bottom of the pool wall, I took pictures, sent them to Kelly via email. She was unaware if the pool was "registered", said the warranty would not be valid without this & that since I was not the original owner, the warranty would not be valid. She said, on phone - I still have the message, that the pool was not back-filled by the installer & that it was the responsibility of the owner to get a good installer. I knew they recommended the installer, but she refused to give me the name (emails). I found out from a contractor the name of the installer Gallaghers was recommending, I contacted them, and they confirmed installation. The contractor stated he told Gallaghers in 2018 that the installer was doing a poor job by not back-filling, they didn't listen, and that lots of customers were now having problems. During this time I had Gallaghers come twice to explain (to myself & new tenants) taking care of a salt water pool and they stated the pool (with the rust) was good for another year. A week later they said they needed to come a third time to ground the pool due to the rust, however the electrician told me later he did this right after installation, so what they did - I have no idea. Interesting, just weeks after this when I had another pool company come to examine the rust we discovered a leak in the liner, sand was escaping from under the pool due to the lack of support from not being back-filled, and I had to pay 4K for back-filling, pool water, a new liner, & installation. Gallagher's can no longer be trusted to be honest, ethical, and back up their warranties. I considered taking them to small claims court, but don't want to spend the time & effort, so I have written this review.

They then told me i needed to drain all the water out in case we get another cold snap and that they really couldn't tell me when they could come out to install due them being very busy. Told me to drain the water and use a wet vac to get as much water out of the tub as i can- so i proceeded to do as directed, that night i got to thinking about it and just had a bad feeling, so in the am i immediately started looking for a 2nd opinion. That is when i found my life saver Tim- called him- he called me back the next day (friday) and i told him what had been told to me- he said that doesn't sound like a bad circuit board and said he could be out that following Monday- Tim came Monday and within 10 minutes found the problem- just sound bad wiring from the electrician, he fixed it! I am so thankful for Tim! He is very professional, and honest. If i could give Tim and Total Spa 10 STARS i absolutely would! He is your guy for Total Spa Repair! Today on 9/10/24 my fiancé went to take it back & the employee would not allow the return because he said it was opened and didn't know if we tampered with the pool cover. I tried to call today 9/10/24 and they put me on hold for over 10 minutes so I did decide to hang up. Also while in the store on 9/09/24 we had to wait over 20 mins for an employee to come out of the back room to assist us. There were other customers that were waiting as well but they decided to leave because of how long it took. We will NEVER shop there again & if you do good luck.

Glad to have finally made this purchase back at the end of 2020 - the hot tub is so therapeutic and relaxing. I especially enjoy it on frigid nights during winter when the sky is clear and I can star gaze for as long as I want. :) Everyone at Capital Hot Tubs has always been wonderful. Purchase, delivery, and installation all went smoothly. Anytime we have needed assistance, they are quick to respond whether it is a question about a replacement part or water quality or even when an exterior panel needed to be repaired, the staff go above and beyond. We are fortunate to live close by as well. Our filters needed to be replaced last week so I just stopped by on a whim and Evelyn was very kind and helpful (Hi and thank you again, Evelyn! The purchase costed more than Costco or an online retailer, but It's well worth it. There are a lot of logistics when purchasing a hot tub such as delivery, installation, electrical, setup and so many other factors. And also warranty. These folks did an amazing job from electrical to set up and so many other items that's needed when setting up a hot tub. The best part is they provide amazing service afterwards. I've had to call for maintenance a few times and capital hot tubs takes care of it. Recently my control display died and Jay came over and took care of everything and was courteous, professional, and he knew his stuff. On top of that Jay also fixed another item under warranty that I wasn't even aware of. If you're looking for a real hot tub please don't buy online. Instead go to these folks and they will make it great and also after.

I really cannot understand all the 5-star reviews of this company. Maybe their pool service is…read morebetter than their spa repair? After reaching out to the company, Frank Memmo responded the same day. Off to a good start! Or so I thought... I informed him my control board got fried where it connects to the heater. I sent him pictures of the bad board showing the burn marks, the make/model of my spa, and the make/model of my control pack. We arranged a time the following week for him to come out to perform the $175 diagnostic visit. When Frank and his helper arrived at my house they inspected my spa pack and saw the same thing of which I sent pictures. I tried asking questions to see what my options were for replacement, but they were met with dismissive comments and rushed responses. Frank took a couple of pictures of the control pack, although they were the same ones I sent him, and assured me he would come up with an estimate within a few days. After less than 5 minutes, their $175 diagnostic visit was over. I hadn't heard anything for 12 days so I reached back out to Frank to see how my estimate was coming along. He indicated he had been exchanging emails with his distributor regarding the new control pack. Frank informed me the replacement pack needed a 4-wire system, but I had a 3-wire system. I wrote back showing him a picture of my 4-wires going into my current control pack, although he already had this picture twice before. He then sent over a quote which included a 4-wire pack, but a 4kw heater instead of a 5.5kw heater like I have on my current control pack. Although the 5.5kw heater pack is no longer available I would have had no idea until it was too late and already installed. If you intend to hire this company to do any kind of repair work make sure to do your own research! Buyer beware...

If you've never installed a pool previously, you better find someone who has so that you can ask…read moreevery question in the book because they offered up absolutely no proactive information or planning for our project. I am trying to like these people as they install our inground pool, but they seem to want every step of the way to be a surprise and half finished. Communication would have gone a long, long way but they completely and utterly lacked in informing us of what to expect, when to expect it, and made clear attempts at excuses for things that could have been straightforward communication and I would have understood. The subcontractors they used were very nice and seemed to do a decent job. My impression is that Goodall failed at project planning to complete the job efficiently, and communication was at best reactive to our constant probes of questions to figure out what was going to go on at our home with this large project. It made it very difficult to plan our own parts of the project (ie landscaping, etc) and wasted a lot (a couple thousand dollars) of our money with wasted materials and I can't even tell you how much of our time has been wasted that could have been prevented if they provided a clear plan, design, and information. I will update this review when we're all said and done to hopefully a better rating with full details.

We were told the order would take approximately six weeks to process. Six weeks later, on August 19, 2024, we called to inquire about the pool cover. Keystone Pools told us they were having trouble with the internet/phone, and orders were delayed in arriving. They told us to check back at the end of August. We called the week of September 2 (8 weeks after the order was placed/deposit paid). We were told the order was not yet in. After two weeks, we started calling again with no answer. On Friday, September 20, 2024, we drove to Keystone Pools to inquire about the order in person. The woman in the store said she had no information about the order, but the owner had a death in the family and the order might be delayed. She didn't have the phone number for Merlin to check on the order status, but she would leave a message for the owner. On Monday, September 23, 2024, we emailed Merlin Pools directly to see where the pool cover was. We received an email from Merlin Pools on Tuesday, September 24, 2024, that an order of 1 pool cover ($1,999.59) for us was placed on 9/23/2024. The next day, we received another email from Merlin Pools that the pool cover had been shipped to the distribution center in Harrisburg, PA. We began calling Keystone Pools to find out when we could pick up the pool cover/pay the balance. No one has answered the phone since September. We mailed them a letter asking for the pool cover or to return our deposit. We drove to Keystone Pools three more times, October, November, and today. No one is ever at the store. It is always closed even though the store hours posted indicate the store is open. Now the phone number is no longer in service, and the pool cover seems to be being held at the distribution center in Harrisburg. Last week, Merlin Pools encouraged us to contact the distributor in Harrisburg, but they haven't returned our calls. Now six months after we placed the order at Keystone Pools, we are out the $999.59 deposit, and we have no Merlin pool cover. We filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau, and we are now pursuing a small claims court claim for breach of contract.
