We experienced some needed changes during the refinishing of our entire house. Certain areas that are too stained to match everything (requiring replacing those boards or choosing a darker stain if you prefer), we believed we had hardwood flooring under the kitchen laminate and it turns out we did not. Each step of the way, Ruben would calmly lay out our options, and quickly show us the cost of each option. It was a very large project. They replaced all of our base boards and door trims throughout the house as well as refinishing floors throughout the entire house. We stayed in a hotel during the work and Ruben gave consistent updates so that we had a good guess of which day we move back into the house and plan accordingly for that. I would describe Ruben's approach as "high-touch". Answers questions via text, always happy to stop by just to drop off samples of colors or materials. I really appreciated this. This is a licensed and insured local business with a stellar reputation which is why we went with them. I'm so happy we did. Floorings, i've found water damaged on my subfloor. Why did I have water damage? May you ask well when they built the house, they built it with particle board on the floors. If you can only imagine that Richard gave me the option. He said you can cover it up. It is waterproof vinyl, but I don't recommend it. We went with his recommendation. I had the sub floors replaced with 3 inch. A treated wood, the floors were installed. It took a little bit longer on our timeline, but we are so happy with the work that was done.

PLEASE RECONSIDER this place…read more I was recommended this place and I wish I wouldn't have trusted the recomendation. RICHARD and his handy men came to work on our floors in January. Everything seemed fine. There were some minor details that were not done well and had to be redone. We contacted Richard and let him know. Every time he said he would come by to fix them he wouldn't, he would always come up with some excuse from needing to help someone move immediately to his car not working or working on another contract. We trusted him so we had already paid him which was my biggest mistake. He also says that it's full service" which meant we didn't have to take anything down or remove anything from the rooms prior to him putting on the floor floors. However they are clearly not experts on putting things back together. They dismantled my kids trundle bed and put it back incorrectly, making it unsafe for them to sleep on. We didn't notice how loose the bed was and how many screws were put in to make it look like they were putting in the proper place because we had to wait a couple days to be able to sleep in our house again because we also got the interior of our house painted through him. One of his handymen put a boarder around the living room to separate the tile floor and the wood they put in. However it started to lift and a staple they used to hold it down was sticking up. Richard came to see it and said he would fix it along with the other things that's had to be done. He then text us to let us know it will be 900 to fix the boarder because in order for the boarder to not lift he would have to remove some of the tile. We said no and He never came and eventually my son got hurt because the corner of the boarder that was lifted stabbed the bottom of his big toe. We had to get someone else to come fix it. They did an amazing job and didn't have to remove any tile to fix the boarder properly. Also a slab of wood came off from the floor on my kids closet. If you do end up going with this company please with hold payment until you are completely satisfied with the job and you know nothing is lifting or breaking/broken.

He came and installed quickly and efficiently. No more leaks! Additionally, I had been in the process of installing new Subzero and Wolf appliances in the kitchen. The company has very strict requirements for installation of the refrigerator. Upon inspection, it was determined that the above refrigerator cabinet had to be raised to accommodate the new refrigerator hight. Also, the electrical outlet needed to be moved up several feet because all the electrical workings sit on top of the refrigerator, rather than below like most refrigerators. Chuey was able to make the necessary changes BUT, it didn't stop there! Because Subzero suggests a "built in" look for esthetics, I needed to add panels to fill a small gap. I could have purchased panels from Subzero for an added cost but Chuey was able to create a wood panel and stain it to match existing wood cabinets. This also required the crown molding on top the cabinets had to be added to fit the new changes. Chuey was able to find moldings and stained this to match. Chuey managed to work around both our busy schedules and this was much appreciated. I am very happy with my new appliances and all the extra work Chuey did to retrofit and create a beautiful esthetics in the kitchen! I would recommend Chuey and plan on more projects for his handy work!

Without hesitation, we would highly recommend Patriot Stone Restoration to anyone who needs granite or marble repair and refinishing work completed. First of all, Tony responded quickly to our request for an estimate, carefully and clearly explained the process and outcome as well as giving us choices re the process and timing. There were no surprises and we are completely satisfied with the outcome. We had a growing crack in our granite counter top - very similar to the picture on his website. The repair was extensive and Tony completed this himself and he is a very talented craftsman...up to and including matching the granite color and pattern so that the repair is well blended and does not stand out. We were very pleased. We also wanted the marble in our master bath re honed which included the large shower, counter top and floor. We could not be happier with not only the end result but also their careful attention to protecting our home during the process. My wife and I own houses in San Francisco, San Jose, through out Mexico and my main residence here in Beverly Hills. Tony earned my trust through years of good service. We first hired him for a small regrouting job in one of my rentals. He matched the caulking and grout perfectly which is almost impossible(anyone who owns a house knows caulking and grout colors are discontinued all the time so finding a perfect match is never expected). Now we have him and his company do an annual round to my four houses here in California to reseal, polish all marble and sometimes regrout/recaulk. Now and then I fly him to Mexico to do repairs and renovations in various family members homes. After years of owning homes I have come to the conclusion that a good stone worker is extremely hard to find. I have used many companies in the past and have been very picky due to quest for perfection. Marble work runs at least 70,000$ per year for me and i have very high expectations. We used Patriot for preparing our home to sell. They replaced broken tiles in our kitchen floor, and cleaned and sealed it. The replacement tiles were a completely different color than our dirty floor, but once they finished cleaning it all looked the same and like brand new. They patched a crack in the marble entry floor that literally became invisible! They also repaired two places in our marble fireplaces that had been broken off. This year, I wanted to replace the carpet throughout the house with the same. After getting several bids, it was clear that CCH was the best price BY FAR. They even worked with me and the manufacturer to get extra discounts since I would need to redo the kitchen as well to match the latest LVP version. They finished the job (~1900 sqft) in just about 4 days and they even helped move many items including disassembling my master bed, at no additional cost! The team is super respectful, and the attention to detail (while not perfect) far exceeds what I would expect given their competitive price point. I am also really impressed with Mark's responsiveness over text, providing updates and responding to concerns - including after hours! His and his team's level of customer service, again, is really top tier. For example, when his team accidentally broke a couple of ethernet cables, he offered to deduct the cost from the bill right away. And at the end of the job, he encouraged me to compile a punch list of any issues that needed to be addressed in a return visit, which should happen very soon. Despite pretty much all of the work being finished - he has not asked for the 2nd half follow up payment yet - not until they complete the punch list at the followup visit. Really commendable company! I also love the music the install team plays during their work (they are also willing to turn it off if the customer needs it quite). So I was thrilled that they were willing to send me the youtube play list. Happy to recommend this company for your next flooring needs! I may even be trying them out for a bathroom remodeling project soon via their partnered remodeling company. Fingers crossed!
