They were very prompt, friendly, and helpful. I highly recommend these guys for any of your towing needs. If they can start a 5 ton military truck they can start anything. This place gave me such terrible service on such a stressful day. I was in a bad car accident yesterday morning and needed my car towed from OC to LA. I gave them a call and they quoted me 30-40 minutes. An hour later no one had arrived so I gave them a call and asked for their drivers number. They gave it to me and I called and the guy was confused. He told me he is not the one coming to get me. I called the office line back and they told me that they'd call me in 10 minutes to tell me whose on the way to get me. At this point it's well over an hour and I'm exhausted & tired of them lying to me. I needed to call back again 15 minutes later and they told me my driver was on the way and would be there in 20 mins. All in all it took them two hours to get to me. I was told my battery was dead and that I had to tow it to Toyota to get a new one, and I was given the number to Patriot Towing. I called and was told how much it would be by Dean, who also asked me what happened to my car. After I explained to him what happened he actually told me how to jump start my car, and told me what to do next when my mom and I both called him several times because we ran into some bumps and had no idea what we were doing. 10:07 AM: Called my roadside assistance to arrange a tow to help get my car to a shop. They said Patriot Towing would be the tow service and they would text me with an ETA. 10:39 AM: Followed up with roadside assistance relaying that I haven't received any text, they said they'd follow up. 11:35 AM: Called Patriot Towing which went straight to voicemail. So much for being available 24 hours... 12:05 PM: Called roadside assistance asking when Patriot would be arriving they relayed that the driver said he was 10 minutes out. 12:39 PM: Called roadside assistance to ask where Patriot was, they relayed the driver was 20 minutes away. 1:01 PM: Called roadside assistance to cancel tow request, I was hungry and the shop was closing soon. 1:37 PM: Received text from driver mentioning he was sorry and was stuck in traffic. I jokingly mentioned for 2 hours, and then sarcastically asked if he was coming from San Diego. The driver answered yes. All this time the driver had my phone number and a simple text 1 hour after the intial request would have saved me from wasting 2 1/2 hours of my time. This veteran is very disappointed in the incompetence and unsatisfactory performance of Patriot Towing. Do yourself a favor and be sure your roadside assistance doesn't use Patriot, or you too will waste hours. I promptly told my roadside assistance to never match my requests with Patriot again! read more

Got a tow from them after car accident. Scheduled a tow to my apartment. Guy shows up and says the complex is going to be a struggle to get into, can we park it at your work? I didn't think that was a problem. Until I got the bill and it was double the quoted price due to a change of location. Thought I was doing them a favor, but the nice guy act was just another company trying to get money out of me. Still trying to get paid back from my insurance company. My sister's gl 350 got a flat tire today. My bf was able to crank the jack and took off the bolts. However, due to the rust on the hub it was so difficult to pull the tire off. Shawn! I got rear ended and Shawn came to the rescue. In shock, confused and not knowing where to start, I could have had the crappiest day after getting in an accident, my first at that. Before even picking my car up he made an impression because he was informative and concerned about my safety, not even knowing he was picking up my car due to an accident until I told him! He could have easily dropped my car off and left it at the shop, he had no obligation to tell me but he let me know and even sent a picture of the business card for me! He didn't have to, but I am extremely glad he did! Couple hours after the drop I called the body shop to check in and it turns out Mercury had blindly chose a body shop and the place wasn't even equipped to assess the damage on my car! I was already frustrated dealing with insurance and they were about to send another random tow company to pick my car up to transfer it to a different location and dare to charge me to transfer it somewhere else for THEIR MISTAKE. Frustrated but not expecting anything from Shawn I told him what happened and thanked him for making the first part of my morning better and wishing that his company could transfer my car again. He informed me that they would be able to, I just have to tell my insurance company again! Shawn was the one to personally pick my car up again and drop it off at the new location. Not only that, he was able to get the shop to foot the bill and charge my insurance company (mercury was trying to get me to pay out of pocket and then reimburse me later) Again, Shawn didn't need to make it his problem and could have just went on his merry way. I had theeee longest day and would have been 80xs more stressed and frustrated had it not been for Shawn and Dino. Not exaggerating when I say this but Shawn cared more about my well being and car more than my own insurance company did (mercury). I had a very bad experience with a tow company Mercury had sent a couple months ago just for a flat tire so I didn't expect much from a tow company when I got into my accident. Shawn could have easily just did the bare minimum, grab my car and go but he genuinely cared about everything, down to telling Dino about me. Dino personally called to recommend a well trusted place to take my BMW to get fixed! They were both way more helpful and caring about my situation than my own insurance company was and that says and means a lot! They checked on me and gave recommendations. I felt like they were family. Just REALLY impressed with the way they are! Genuine good hearted people! Going above and beyond than just simply towing my car. Shawn made such an impression that I called my insurance company back and demanded that Patriot Towing be the ones to tow my car again should anything ever happen. I told them I didn't want anyone else and it has to be them or I'm gone. Seriously as good as a towing service could possibly get! Leave it to my BMW's water-pump to blow at 1:00 am. I was adamant about having a flatbed tow my car and competing services were offering flatbeds with too long of a waiting time, too high of a cost because its an "emergency flatbed tow" or tried to convince to use a wheel lift when I specifically wanted a flatbed. Anywho, this guy "Dre" rescued me from my late night fiasco and was extremely friendly, helpful, and informative throughout the whole process.
