The service was fantastic. Attentive and polite. I should've left a bigger tip. My sons and I were our way home, passing through from Baltimore and needed to stop for something to eat. The boys picked this place in a whim. Everything was good. The ground beef on the nachos did have a homemade taste and I liked that. I got the steak and cheese quesadilla. My older son got the breakfast burger. My younger son got a cheeseburger. I don't see my self in that area by chance to go again anytime soon but I definitely recommend for anybody in the area or passing through. read more

I had the sliders last week of April 2026. Best sliders I've had in years. The buns were warm and toasty and tasted like they were homemade. The Onion rings were scrumptious. I could have eaten two dozen onion rings if my wife hadn't accompanied me. read more

A decent restaurant with average food. We were here with a party of 10 on a Friday evening for their pub trivia night. Pros: Can make a reservation for a large group on trivia night. Was seated right away. Service was great at the beginning. Pizza night special on Fridays (and the person who ordered the pizza from our group enjoyed it) Funnel Cake Fries Brownie Sundae Pitchers of beer Cons: Southwest salad-not good Burger-just okay Chicken nachos-not enough chips and not very flavorful Service become very slow at the end of the evening. I would rate it zero Stars. I've been coming to this place since it was Bridges back in the '90s. They haven't even updated the bathroom since then. There's literally a household toilet in there. A friend suggested stopping here after a movie and we have been visiting regularly ever since. The loaded tots are great as are the funnel cake fries. While those are our base items almost everything on the menu we have tried has been good. There are ways folks alter items that taste great as well, the one we learned about most recently involved the pizza being folded and cut into strips making it easier to share and snack on. The drinks here are legit as well. I'm comfortable mentioning some preferences and taking the drink suggested and prepared. The wait staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive. As an added bonus they have karaoke the first Saturday of the month which is enjoyable to watch & to occasionally participate in. This is not a fancy location, it is laid back and you can tell there are some serious regulars in addition to folks who visit multiple times. It has a bar in the middle & some outdoor seating out front which unfortunately seems to cater to smokers. A miraculous surprise!!! We had just gotten into Fairfax after 3 hours of fighting traffic and a rather rude hotel desk, so we were ripe for something comfortable and a good libation to take the edge off. What we found was a slice of sports bar heaven! I had a beer, my wife had a Moscato (do you how hard it is to find Moscato in most restaurants?!?). We ordered their chicken quesodilla for an app. What came out to us was prolly the best tasting 'dillas we have ever experienced! Everything was FRESH! NOT frozen, NOT packaged... FRESH!!! That chicken was as succulent and juicy! This was done RIGHT! Next came our Calzone bites. Yes, you read that right... Calzone bites! Loaded with FRESH sausage, ham, green peppers, cheese, bacon, black olives and mushrooms, these packed bites of heaven along with the freshest sauce we've ever had! This actually puts our fav Italian joint to shame and that says A LOT! That crust was both soft and crispy and add that sauce... just perfection. We love coming here and breaking out some family games, really enjoy the menu options and choices/quality of the food, but have also had great treatment from the staff. Came here with my friend not too long ago for a beer and some food. It's a no-frills experience but still very enjoyable, and a good place for catching up and reminiscing about the good ol' days. Patriots has a few outside tables, a bar surrounded by seats, and an area with tables. On this occasion, my friend and I sat at the bar and there happened to be a lively birthday party (or some sort of party anyway, I will admit my Spanish is rusty) in the table area. The internet juke box they have will serve your musical needs, and despite the nature of sports bars it wasn't actually all that loud. Had a bleu cheese burger and it was excellent and filling. Beer selection was reasonably good, and decently-priced as well. Service was pretty average though it's entirely possible my friend and I didn't look like the big-spender types. I used to be a bartender, I know how it goes. All in all, I enjoyed my visit here, and the unusual party going on in combination with my habit of requesting strange songs on internet juke boxes made this a fun time for my friend and I. My recommendation is you will like this place if you're having a casual outing with down-to-earth friends; don't take dates or picky friends here, they might not appreciate it like we do. Overall: 4.0 stars ----- Pros: - Fun atmosphere without being overly loud. - Great food and drinks at reasonable prices for the area. - Late hours so you don't have to close up shop at midnight like some of the lamer places in the area. - Tons of parking in the lot outside. The new location is infinitely better than the old spot! The new location on Main St. is much cleaner and comfortable than the location on Fairfax Blvd. ever was. The staff is always friendly and helpful, and the food is a step above standard pub grub. I usually get the white pizza as an appetizer, since they are one of the few places that actually has a small size pizza, and it is fantastic! They are also one of the few bars that carries non-alcoholic beer (I'm not a HUGE drinker) and they don't make a face at you when you order it. The food always comes out fast and hot, even when you're in a large group with a bunch of separate checks. They do have a enclosed "private room" that's great for meetings or groups as well, and they aren't stingy about letting people reserve it ahead of time. My only complaint is that they allow smoking in the outside areas, and you have to walk through the smoking area to enter the restaurant. This is a bit of a turn-off for those of us with breathing difficulties. read more

We've been here 3 times in as many months, each visit has been awesome. Amazing servers who actually talk to their customers and an owner who can always be seen on premise talking to his customers. The food has been fresh, hot, tasty and is delivered in a respectable amount of time. It's a very clean establishment, the restrooms are clean as well and the servers are constantly wiping down the bar and cleaning up after patrons. It's also important to mention that parking here is in abundance and it's located in a great location in Fairfax, Virginia. We've been on the hunt since we moved to Virginia looking for a place we can call ours, we've finally found it. Located in the lower level of an apartment building I probably drove by this place countless times without ever even considering stopping but I'm glad we did. Patriots combines great service with affordable prices and good food. The menu offers a number of pub favorites and a surprisingly good pizza option. The bar has both solid domestic beer options and great craft beer choices in addition to a standard full bar. I'm definitely a fan of Patriots. Firstly, great staff. Super friendly, funny and accommodating. You feel welcomed right off the bat. Secondly, always a good, diverse, fun crowd. Don't let the occasional group of motorcycles out front turn you off. Everyone is there for a good time, and it always is. There's a good mix of new folks, as well as long term Patriot regulars. Smoking is outside on the patio, which is also pet friendly. Thirdly, GREAT food and drink specials. The food, I have to say, is beyond expectation. It is GREAT, honest bar fare. The wings are big, with lots of flavor options. FANTASTIC burgers. Frickin' chili cheese dogs, c'mon, that's perfect for game day with some brewhaha. Best pizza in the area, imo. I won't get a pizza delivered ever again as I can just go get one to-go from Patriots. The taco pizza is super fun, and super delish, as is the grilled chicken pesto pizza. . .but honestly, just the basic cheese or pepperoni pies have been outstanding. For real. Great daily food specials, as well as gametime football specials. Drinks are priced great, poured perfectly, and there's always some specials going on. House shots are called tic-tacs and the selection varied daily. Good draught beer selection, and the redidi every inch of line in the place before opening, so no skunky beer to be had, A GREAT improvement over the old place that was in this location. Fourth, great tv's all over, shows all the sports, including Rugby, and get there early for Skins games, it fills up fast. Lastly, it's super convenient, large parking lot, easy to get into and out of. All in all, a great addition to FFX City, and I'm stoked to have them as a neighbor. I had to dip when I noticed a lot of their customers dropped the n word with the hard r (even in front of the dishwasher who was African American). My husband and I went to the old location and enjoyed it but it was a pain to get to in a very old shopping center. However, we love the new location and will likely be regulars now.
