The waitress didn't understand that I had my napkin on my lap; she apparently thought I was wiping my face with my clothing, because she slapped down a pile of extra napkins in front of me with a nasty look on her face. Got the order wrong twice. Kept trying to hand me things while I was eating; could not simply put them down on the table. When I asked for a box to go, she kept demanding I tell her what size. I simply gestured to the remaining food on my plate as if to say, "take a look and figure it out," because I was pretty fed up with her at that point. Then when it was time for the check, I could not flag her down after five tries, although the place was not full and she was one of four servers. And the food? I lived in Savannah for 2 years and I probably ate over 100 of Patron's chicken chimichangas (no red sauce, double rice) during my time there, not even joking. Both the in-house staff and the service for takeout were ALWAYS on point, even when I made picky-girl adjustments to my beloved menu item. I'm giving this establishment 4 stars due to there being only one server so attentiveness was an issue. No one like to just have to sit and wait. FOOD is incredible. I find it to be a perfect mixture of Tex mex and authentic cuisine. They lost a star over slow service (not a complainer here, but it's every time and we're usuals!), and the prices are high. I know the cost of all food is rising, but dang they will get ya. My husband had the margarita Monday special and had some ridiculous amount of blended margaritas for eight dollars. It was just past noon on Wednesday and stopped here on the way to see my Mom in Darien, GA. The lunch special (only $7.50) caught my eye. Ordered three chicken enchiladas with frijoles negros (black beans), rice, flour tortilla smothered with cheese and savory chile sauce. If you come a bit later, you can imbibe on the happy hour specials. With a name like Patron, they must make strong, mule-kicking margaritas here. They also accommodate large groups and pre-covid, the place was usually jam packed after-work. Ft Stewart is nearby, and the historic district is not too far away. read more

I asked her can I get some service and she motioned her hand one minute but continued to pass me by and assist other customers that were seated after me. I asked her for a cup a water and never got it, but thanks to the waiter that did assist me even though her section was on the other side. Patron is welcomed addition to the Mexican seen in Chatham county. They offer fair prices for their great quality food they even offer a vegetarian menu. Overall everything taste delicious and left us satisfied. I had the shrimp nachos and tacos while my girl enjoyed th chicken enchiladas. Both the tacos and nachos were exceptional and filling. The salsa offered with the chips Tate amazing as well. The only reason for not giving this place 5 stars is the lack of knowledge on specials. I was visiting from San Antonio and was told to try Patron. It is nothing close to being real Mexican food. Where's the sizzling plate for the fajitas? Where's the cheese in the quesadilla? For being a little place in a shopping center this place is amazing. We came on a Sunday night wasn't packed at all. We were sat right away. Waiter was attentive explained the drink specials to us.(mango margarita is pretty darn strong) We ordered and within 10-12 minutes our food was out. I had California burrito and my gf had the fajita nachos. Both were excellent. The California burrito plate was about half the table length and the fajita nachos were awesome. The shrimp were a little over cooked but nothing to complain about with everything else being so good! read more

In town for work and needed to grab lunch before getting on the road. Staff was great, attentive and friendly. It was busy for lunch on a weekday but still had fast service. Food was excellent, we had guacamole, the chunky queso(beef queso dip), huevo a la Mexicana and margaritas. It was margarita Monday so we got the $2.50 regular margarita and it was good, can't beat the price. Would definitely eat there again if nearby. Would recommend for others to eat. read more

We ordered out tonight here to try this restaurant for the first time and unfortunately we were very disappointed. I ordered the shredded chicken quesadilla with beans and rice. Hardly any cheese in the quesadilla and the chicken was tough and dry. The quesadilla was soggy as well. I also ordered churros and I guess they forgot to coat them in cinnamon and sugar because it was just a plain fried churro and they had no ice cream per the menu. Stopped here for dinner tonight after driving from Cocoa Beach. Saw a couple reviews and photos of the menu items and we were hooked. Finding the place was a bit difficult as it's dark out, and the address on the GPS takes you to an empty lot with construction materials all over it. Once we realized it was in the plaza behind Bojangles, we were set. We were seated immediately, and water all around was given within minutes. Our waiter stated it was his second day on the job, but he did great getting our orders in and getting us set up with nachos and dip. When our food came, we were flabbergasted with the size based on the prices. They were enormous. The food was very good. Served hot, flavourful, and filling. We didn't order dessert, but saw they had fried ice cream. We will definitely return if we are in the area again. read more

This was my second visit to this place. Ok I'll start off like this as you walk in you every 1 to the right sitting down looking at 1 another like who is going to serve them. Than your server brings you to your table ,but you pass the bar and you see the cooks out front with dirty jeans and a t shirt with sanitary gloves on chillin at bar with underwear sticking out there pants. Once we are seated we order water to see what food item we want. Open up menu menu dirty with old salsa in the seems of the menu than I look up and I see more of the cooks come from the back the same way as before. We order and the server didn't know the food at all it seem like she was just a pretty face. Now watching people come in that work there from outside not 1 person came in and washed there hands before starting to work which was not a good than to see. I understand it is a family restaurant and it is lax but come on it is still a business. I ordered a combo dinner . She brings out my plate than a minute later comes back and takes it away saying sorry wrong plate than brings back the same plate with the missing item . My tamle was old crusty and crunchy like a dam doggy treat I showed the server she asked you don't like it I said look and I showed her that the food was old and crusty by clicking the sides with my fork as she she says I'll get you another item I said ok but she left my plate on the table with this crusty thang still in my face like I wanted to continue to look at this thang. We payed and started walking towards the door the same people from the beginning still at the bar chillin and still no hand washing and I tried to sanitize my hands going out the door bit the pump was broken so it's just there for looks.
