Saturday night was packed. This is located in the basement so it's very hot and barely any air circulation. I didn't eat here, I'm not sure if they serve food. I think upstairs they do, and if you go upstairs it's free. The DJ on Saturday night was ok, not something I'd want to continue going to. Cover charge was 20$ and they take cash or card. This club is on meridian so no parking lot. It was very crowded when I went, so people were bumping into each other and it wasn't easy to move around. It's not very big inside. The restroom has black lights, so it's dark, and it's 2 stalls for women, it's very small so be careful when pushing the door open, you might hit someone. One thing I liked was water was out in the open for self serve on the bar, so you don't have to wait for a bartender to get water. read more

Stopped by Patron Saint for a quick bite in the early evening and it was exactly what I needed. I wasn't looking to go out or stay out late--just wanted something small and satisfying before the night crowd rolled in. Usually when I come here, it's for the EDM club vibe downstairs, which is a whole other experience (and definitely perfect for the right night). But this time I was just in the mood for a gooooood dog--and this place delivered. I'm a sucker for a well-done hot dog, and they really get it right here. Bonus points for the slushies. Boozy, flavorful, and honestly reason enough to come back. The place wasn't too busy early on, so the food came out super quick. In and out, no fuss, and hit the spot. I'm not much for the bar scene, but we were downtown for an a work event and my coworkers wanted to stop somewhere before dinner and we wound up at Patron Saint. We were the only group there, with one or two individuals that came and went during our time there. Staff was super nice. Extra points for me for the slushie machines - I like something sweet when I drink and I love that they're just against the side wall and labeled perfectly so you know exactly what your options are. If I had more time here, that would've gotten me in trouble. Not sure how this would play out for an evening out, but that's not much my scene -- for an early evening, after work stop with some coworkers though it was a fun time. read more

We knew club hopping on a Tuesday would likely be pretty tame, but as a couple moms just looking to get out and celebrate my birthday, this was a neat little spot to take in. The decor was pretty cool and the bartender was friendly. We only stayed long enough for one drink, and as the people began to slowly make their way in, we decided it just wasn't our crowd. Floors are crazy sticky, even at the beginning of the night, and that made us wonder about their general cleanliness. The aggressive college guy crowd was not what we were looking for. read more

I had a GREAT time with my friends here late Saturday night! We got in a little after midnight and the place was PACKED!!! I'm talking shoulder to shoulder, which is can give you 2 feelings. If you love clubs it's a rush of excitement, if you don't like being close to people nice and anxious, lol. I had a mixture of both but was thankful to have access to a VIP area (which I highly recommend). The bottle service staff came over immediately to cater to us and while everyone else was sweating and breathing on each other we enjoyed the music from afar. Don't get me wrong we definitely went out on the dance floor quite a few times! The VIP are we were in had a ouiji board over top which was strangely cool, plus plenty of seating to accommodate at least 10z. I will say once the crowd gets going you will need to watch your step as the floors can be really slick but with light stepping it's definitely a GREAT time! You will definitely see me back!!! read more

Yesterday night, the bartender at Patron Saint sat my food at the wrong table. I noticed about 30 minutes later and went to retrieve the food and informed the bartender that my food was sat at the wrong table for 30 minutes. She said my food would be remade and I asked for it to go. About 20 minutes later the bartender came back out with my food and I left. When I got home I noticed my food was not remade, the old food was placed in a to go container and given to me. It wasn't even warmed up. Unacceptable. I like the food at Patron Saint but every time I visit the service is terrible and it is always this one particular bartender. I'm going to continue to go to Patron Saint because there is an amazing cook there but every time the bartender gives me a poor experience I will leave a review. Mwuah read more

Great service from the bartenders! Very respectful security guards. The cover charge is $10 for men and women. The decor is awesome but the space is very very small. I wasn't a fan of the music because despite advertising themselves as an "edgy" bar, the dj almost exclusively played mediocre house mixes of early 2000s pop songs. Overall a good experience but I don't know if it is worth it for the cover charge. read more

First time yesterday...now its a bar with snacks!! The slushies were great I got peach bourbon, love love love it. I got gator drink, and then Jordan mixed some other flavors together! A friend recommended this place to me and i was pleasantly surprised with no cover on a Saturday!! Got in around 11pm and the drinks are cheap so does not dig a hole in ur wallet!! Im not sure what time warp I entered, I wonder if this is what it's like in the pineapple under the sea. Definitely an interesting place. It's a club/sports bar/I don't even know. I felt like I was in a fish bowl with some rave music while football was on. Pick a vibe and go with it. There is a bar and a daiquiri bar but you can't order from both. It's one or the other so if you have a tab at the bar it doesn't work at the daiquiri dispensers. The pina coloda was delish though pricey $10 for a 12oz pour. Got the hot dog and fries and the hot dog was delicious the fries needed some seasoning. Didn't make it upstairs to see what was going on the music was to much for me. Different indeed. read more

The decorations here were amazing! They had what seemed to be authentic New Orleans drinks. The signature drinks tasted really good but were very small for the price so I don't think I'd get a signature drink again. This place is really hidden. It is basically a basement bar. We went on a Tuesday night so it was really empty. Even though we came within their open hours, they didn't have anything ready because they said nobody typically comes on those nights. This place looks nothing like the photos uploaded, which comes as a shock because the reviews are fairly recent. Patron Saint is small, cramped, and hot - as one would expect from an underground bar. Darkly lit, OK electronic music, but to be honest everyone here when I went this past weekend was TRASHED. As to be expected, bathrooms are gross and usually lacking toilet paper. Did not expect to walk out of my stall and find two dudes in the bathroom with me. The bartenders are cool and I tried one of their invented vodka watermelon drinks and it was delicious. Truly the highlight of my visit here. I'm not native to Indy, but after experiencing downtown Indy and getting to know the locals, the area is kinda dirty and trashy. Looks super cool, but definitely not my crowd. Not recommending this to anyone and it wasn't truly recommended to me. read more

My friends and I stopped in one night on an edm night we didn't stay long though because she didn't like that there wasnt very many people but they did have a nice set up for pictures! It sucked we had to pay $5 to get in since we didn't stay awhile but oh well. The staff is super strict on the mask policy so please wear your mask so they don't have to keep saying something! I definitely want to go back when it's busier! And I also want to know the weekend themes so if y'all could give me that info I would love to come back! read more

I was with a group of work friends bar hopping and we landed in this nasty place. Normally I will not give bad reviews but making an exception due to how filthy it was. There was FECES smeared on the floor in the ladies room and the stench could be smelled from outside the restroom door. There was a group of women in one stall--not sure if they were having sex or doing drugs. We ordered drinks but I didn't drink mine after watching flies around the bar which was obviously not clean. The barkeep was rude and acted put out by our orders. Downtown Indy is not helped by this establishment. Avoid it. read more

love this bar and the owners, i actually feel safe here. the other bars downtown i could never even think about being alone but here i can get a drink by myself and feel at home. drink specials are awesome they have alcoholic slushees which i love but it's hard to get a good bartender sometimes which is sad. the music is always on point and i always recommend this bar to anyone read more

So, I was out tonight with my nephew and coworker. They went into the bar (no cover) and I stayed upstairs until I finished my cigarette. I asked the one worker at the top of the stairs how much the cover was and he says, "I'm not sure." I asked the other worker and he says $10. I go downstairs and ask at the door, and one guy says $20. I say no, I'm not paying that. And he says it's $20, or you can leave. I said no the guy upstairs said $10. The other doorman there says "nah man, c'mon." And he says "what, the guy upstairs said $10." I give him a $20 and when he hands me my change, he says "what, beggars can't be choosers". First of all, there was no cover for my young nephew and male coworker who entered 5 minutes before me. Secondly, this bar age discriminates and the door guy was being a jerk. I didn't see him charge anyone else. I am much older than my 20 year old counterparts. They missed out on a large bar tab cause I was buying. We left this bar once I met up with them inside. I love this place. Cheap drinks, great music, nice staff. I see a few negative reviews, but I would attribute the cleanliness comments to the large crowd that comes here. There aren't many places downtown that have a cheaper cover & reasonably priced drinks. You have to know what to expect here, it's a little gritty but it's a hell of a lot of fun read more
