We stopped into Patrona with a group of friends to satisfy a craving for Mexican food, and to watch the World Cup. We were seated instantly, and our server came quickly to take both our food and drink orders. We had beers, margaritas-- the mango marg was sweet and not heavy on the tequila, and everyone ordered a dish of their choosing. This spot is a bit different from your traditional family Mexican restaurant, in the way that it has TV's for watching the game, and more relaxed bar atmosphere throughout the restaurant. I throughly enjoyed my enchiladas suizas (always a favorite) and the salsa that was served with the chips was tangy and a bit spicy. Had a great business lunch here today. When I arrived I was greeted with warmth and a friendly Hola Mija! They seated me right away and brought some delicious chips and salsa and a virgin peach margarita that was delicious. Lunch portions were large and both my colleague and I enjoyed what we ordered. I had chicken tacos and she had the fajitas. They also had no issues making my meal gf for my gluten allergy. Great place, fun sportsbar feel to the place, awesome friendly service and good food. This is one of my favorite Mexican restaurants. We eat here fairly often and it's a go to spot to bring visitors as well. I usually get the steak fajitas (which is excellent) but since we finally managed the come on a weekend today I was able to order the menudo (only available on the weekend). If you love menudo you have to try Patrona's. Easily my favorite in the area and the flavor is good enough to rival some of the best menudo's I've had growing up in San Francisco. They have great happy hour deals on both food and drinks so try to come 2-6 if you want to try a bunch of small dishes at a great price. Also worth noting they have actually good complimentary chips and salsa which is a great way to start off your meal. Service has also been great every time we have eaten here and everyone is friendly. I am gluten free and have no issues eating here, they are aware of allergies and are very accommodating. read more

Made with house made tamarind, silver tequila and triple sec, muddled fruit and tajin. Loved this drink as it was refreshing, tart and subtly sweet! * Sunset margarita -- potent and refreshing -- don julio silver tequila, gran marnier, triple sec, house mix, fresh lime juice, muddled fruit and salt. * Blended guava margarita -- this was the BEST guava drink I've ever had. It was our first time trying this restaurant and we were impressed! We shared the carne asada fajita. The beef was tender and juicy. The rice and beans were also seasoned and tasted good. The salsa that came with the chips had a great taste. If we can provide any constructive feedback is that we didn't love the pico de gallo as it was a tad bland. Also, when I asked the waitress about the rewards that I had enrolled into coming into the restaurant, what she told me was not the same as what is printed on the machine. From what I gathered, you enter your number or email into the machine right when you come into the restaurant and it tracks total times you've been there. The instructions say that your 8th meal is free. But when I asked the waitress, she said it was the 10th meal and you get $10 off. The info she gave did not match the instructions on the machine. The food was packaged very nicely, presentation was great. Review of food: The chimichanga was so greasy inside, and the meat was incredibly salty. The chile relleno was so tough, and the egg batter was extremely thick. The cheese inside didn't even taste like cheese, it tasted like cheesy scrambled egg. I requested support through door dash and they only gave me a $10 credit, for a $60 order. We unfortunately won't be ordering from here again :( read more

One of the best Mexican restaurants around the Bothell - Mill Creek area. The plates are huge and the staff are super friendly.

I just got my order delivered from UberEats. The restaurant is 5 minutes from my house but I'm busy working so I went with delivery. The food arrived as absolute pig slop. The avocado tostada is so soggy with water in the container that the tostada shell is completely dissolved. It's just gross and inedible. The chile relleno is very soggy and sloppy too. Only the tacos Pasteur may be edible. Disgusting. $85 for this slop. If you don't know how to pack food to-go so it arrives at a person's house edible, don't sign up for UberEats. Never ordering from this place again and will never set foot inside either. What a waste. I can't see how they have any good ratings on UberEats if this is the way they pack food. read more

We came here yesterday for happy hour. The place was pretty empty around 5:30 and we sat on the patio because we brought our dog. Service was very attentive and friendly. They quickly brought us waters, silverware, and chips and salsa. The chips were really good - thin and crispy. The salsa had a good flavor but not much spice. We both got margaritas which were tasty and only $7 for happy hour. For food, we got the fiesta avocado, queso, chicken tacos and chicken quesadilla. The food came out pretty quickly and the portions were pretty large. It was a great deal with the happy hour prices. The fiesta avocado was basically deconstructed guacamole. It had chunks of avocado, tomato and onions and was well seasoned with some spices and lime juice. It was really tasty and refreshing. I definitely recommend this. The queso was on the thinner side but super yummy and packed a good amount of heat. It was delicious and I kept eating more even though I was getting stuffed. My husband liked his tacos and commented on how they were packed with meat. My quesadilla was also tasty and had a ton of chicken. But it seemed they didn't drain the chicken before making it so it got pretty soggy on the bottom. It still tasted good though and came with some delicious guacamole on the side. We've had good take out from Patrona several times but had not dined in. I don't like writing reviews based on takeout, doesn't seem fair to evaluate food that's travelled for several minutes in a container. My wife and I decided to grab lunch during the week and had a delicious meal! Service was great, drinks were strong and food was tasty! I love that their chips with salsa are served hot and fresh (also included and not an extra fee for them). I had the Mole chicken enchiladas plate with rice and beans which were very delicious. My wife had the ala carte carnitas chimichanga that comes with guacamole and sour cream and is a great deal for $7! Oh, we both had margaritas and they were delicious too! I order from here frequently and come out to visit in person when possible. The food is always fresh, hot, and tasty. Atmosphere is welcoming and the restrooms are always clean. I've waited to write a review until I ate here a few times and tried a few different items on the menu. The food at Patrona is excellent and it is my favorite Mexican restaurant in the area. I've tried quite a few around North Seattle and Lynnwood, and Patrona stands out amongst them. The first thing is come prepared to eat...the portions are big. And they are delicious. I've had the Chicken Fajitas on this visit and they were excellent. On other occasions I've had the Burrito Patrona, which has red sauce over the burrito and it also is spot on. The burritos are a fork and knife affair; go for the fajitas if you want to use your hands. My wife had the Tacos Al Carbon- three large tacos with rice and beans on the side- a must try. For dessert we had the fried ice cream and it a great ending to the meal. We don't drink alcohol but the patrons next to us had Margaritas and they were huge! And according to our neighbors, they were excellent. Overall Patrona is a must try if you're in the Bothell area. read more

This place was a home run and quite possibly I think the best, Mexican Cantina in the Mill Creek Bothell area. My group and I decided to try this place because our regular place has gone downhill and this place definitely has their shit together. The decor and ambience definitely is pretty chill. Nothing fancy just some booths and tables and the bar set up is pretty nice as well. The chips and salsa were extremely fresh salsa was just right right amount of spice and great flavor. I was blown away by the variety of menu options they offered in fact, so many I will have to come back and try at least everything soon lol I ended up having the Carne Asada and your choice option . I went with the cheese enchilada as my option. The portion was just right, filled me up and tasted great no greasy didn't make you feel sick just really good fresh food, which didn't come out in five minutes unlike other Mexican places. More like 3.5 stars for sure. This is family style mexican restuarant which is just perfect for times when you just want a known comfortable mexican dinner especially during weekday. I have had various dishes here. My favorite has to be enchilada but you wont go wrong with their burritos or fajita as well. They sometimes make food bit cheesier, creamier than what i prefer It has hidden away location but parking is not an issue at all. But then i have only been here on weekends...but I am fairly certain you will not have issues on weekends as well. read more

The only reason I don't give 5 stars is that they don't make their own tortillas. That makes a huge difference in taste. However the food is excellent. Lots of flavor! We got the enchilada mole with chicken, chicken fajitas and fiesta avocado which is basically like pico de Gallo with avaocado chunks, but really good.
