So again I have to say OUTLOUD and PROUD how decently PATS AUTOMOTIVE has treated me...AGAIN!!! I had purchased 4 BRAND NEW TIRES from PATS AUTOMOTIVE approximately 5-6 months ago for my Chevy Silverado which included the full installation, balancing, stem replacement and stem upgrade for the SENSING ELECTRONICS nessessary and these guys were RIGHT ON IT with their great service and reliability that I have been accustomed to with these folks. Then when one tire caught a nail they replaced the entire tire FREE. NO CHARGE...NADA!!! I could hardly believe it... I am somewhat handicapped ans depend on service like this and will always come back to a PLACE THAT CARES. Then again most recently my " CHECK ENGINE LIGJT" came on and I no doubt brought it to them for their RELIABLE SERVICE and sure enough the told me that it could have been just a system glich and if it came back they would take a deeper look...but 2 months later still no problems and ALL IS WELL. And again NO CHARGE for the hookup to checking out the problem... I couldnt believe NO CHARGE AGAIN unless there were gonna be more failures..but there were no more indications of any issues..so I am still running everyday on NO ISSUES and best of all FREE SYSTEM CHECKOUT.. I was mad that they would not even take a tip from me... Anybody else could have made up a fake story and charged me something.. BUT THEY JUST TOLD ME THE TRUTH AND HONORED THEIR WORKMANSHIP ALL THE WAY THROUGH THESE NEW PROBLEMS.. WHO DOES THAT ANYMORE!!! I was expecting some kind of a charge but AGAIN they held their integrity and CUSTOMER VALUE WITH GREAT SERVICE AND BACKUP ETHICAL PRINCIPLES. I will always take my vehicles to Pats Automotive where I feel TRUST AND VALUE for a confident problem solving team is on my side and I can feel they got me covered for whatever I need to be done... Even if its the possibility of bad news and not recomended..I will trust their decision with a business like confidence that I want on my side..ALWAYS GIVE THESE PEOPLE A SHOT WHEN YOU HAVE YOUR NEXT PROBLEM.. I am sure you will not be sorry you did.. I WILL NOT GO ANYWHERE ELSE IN PINELLAS COUNTY. I like these guys. I trust them. They do great work but a lot of places do great work. Not all places do to be sure but that's not what separates these guys from the rest. They are different because along with great automotive mechanic skills they have heart. They care. You are not just a customers to them. They consider your needs and deal fairly with information and care that they would give a beloved family member. It's quite unusual today to find a place like this in any part of the economy. Especially in car and truck care where so many shops just try to up sell you and make you pay for stuff you didn't need. These guys would NEVER do that. Quite the opposite. I reached out to Pat's Automotive to have a turbocharger replaced on our granddaughter's chevy cruze. Within minutes they told me that the part was in stock and that they could have it completed the same day. I had reached out to several other shops prior to calling them and was told that they needed a couple of days to complete the job. We were up against deadline as our granddaughter was going back to college the next day. So needless to say we were very happy to know that they could get the job done the same day. My daughter had just made it to Florida and her car was out of commission because of a belt. She was pregnant and about to have her baby any day and she was extremely worried she'd be without her car all together. Thankfully, Reid is our neighbor and he took a quick look at the car and sure enough said they could get it up and running. This is where you wanna take your car. Call and ask for Steve. He has been our family mechanic forever. He's been working on my car for over 20 years (a 2001 passed down from my grandfather that is still in beautiful condition thanks to Steve). I will not take it to anyone else.
