One of the best trainers I have worked with. Perry is a great guy and is dedicated to the success and safety of his clients. He evaluates the clients needs, preferences and focuses on any limitations. He is very knowledgeable and communicates in easy to understand terms. He is very focused on form so the client obtains maximum results with measurable progress and safety. He is very conservative when increasing levels of an exercise. Two issues that I have experienced great improvement in the few weeks of training with Perry, 1) Injured knee several years ago resulting in loss of range of motion and discomfort during certain movements. Currently ROM has greatly improved and little if any pain or discomfort. This has provided me with the ability to perform exercises that I had avoided in the past. 2) Impingement in shoulder has limited me in certain movements and considerable discomfort. Currently able to perform movements with little awareness of any limitation or discomfort. ROM has definelty improved and improving muscle strength. Highly recommend Franklin Strength & wellness. I've had lotsa orthopedic injuries/surgeries. Each exercise can be modified for your ability . This means people of all levels can be in the same room together working to their full capability. That takes away the 'intimidation' factor for beginners, which is a beautiful thing. I'm a full figured 54-year old gal, so if I can do it, so can you !

My intuition is that Jonathan is given an incentive such as a bonus or commission from corporate and relies on people not tracking the exact costs of what they should be paying. We are still owed money from months ago and when we approach Jonathan about it, we receive a very unprofessional snarky repose that he is "AS I TOLD YOU, I'm going to do it but it takes time" which is an outright lie because it has been over a month and he has issued some but not all credits that he admits is owed to us. Again, I believe he is playing this game to pad his numbers on other people's expense which is stealing and goes against their contract with their credit card processor. It's a shame because the program and the facility is great but Jonathan brings an awful stain on the organization.

We arrived 15 minutes before our cycling class/session started. The staff took us in a tour and explained how everything worked. I have done hot yoga before but nothing like that this. It was definitely warm when you walked into the room. As the class/session continued the hotter it got. The room never became unbearable. Our class was for 15 minutes bad we both got a great sweat. We got my forms filled out and headed to the back for a quick tour. Their space is super neat! I've never seen so many saunas in my life! It was so interesting to hear about the different health benefits from the saunas and workouts that they offered. I got set up in my cycling sauna and was told that it was a 15 minute class. (Shorter than most workouts they have) It was perfect! I love saunas in general and love sweating. But the combined workout felt great! I don't do cycling very often...or at all. So my legs were a bit wobbly after getting off the bike. AND I WAS SWEATY. Such a fast and easy little burn! I will be back FOR SURE!

While there are many good CrossFit boxes out there, Talon excels in so many ways. Let me explain. 1. Talon can work with you at any level of fitness. Owners, Dennis and Tara, and their coaches have the deep experience and insight to help both individuals with rehabilitation needs as well as programming for elite level athletes. Dennis is not only a former CrossFit Games competitor and finalist, but he's trained others to achieve this level of success. His reputation as a leading coach and expert is well known, and even highly trained professionals in the field (e.g., physical therapists, etc.) seek out Dennis, Tara and the Talon team for opinions, insights and regularly attend their workouts and classes at Talon. Talon staff actively coach to your strengths and weaknesses and work with you to properly scale workouts as needed and maximize benefits without compromising your safety or health. 2. Talon consistently treats everyone (e.g., regular members, visitors, fire breathers, etc.) with courtesy and respect, no matter if you are just learning or are an elite level athlete. Maybe it's because I have a lot of deficiencies to correct, but even in a busy class, I frequently feel like I'm getting one-on-one coaching and almost always take away a new insight from my workout, Oly class, etc. Dennis, Tara and the Talon Coaching team truly care about you, your safety, and your self-improvement journey, and it goes beyond exercise to include diet and overall health. 6. They partnered me up really well for the partner exercises too. Only suggestion, if you can make the drop in fee payable online, it would have been seamless. Not the end of the world though.
