What a complete gem this restaurant is. Actually it's a panderia that just happens to have the capability of fixing sandwiches and just wonderful wonderful meals. The ambience is lovely. Very elaborate Daely like and you can't help but be in Tran as you are surrounded with wonderful desserts which I will now go back for. You order with the cashier who is more than equipped to explain what the offerings are and then is kind enough to bring them out to you after you have ordered. A truly lovely experience. I had a salad which normally I would not have selected because there was a strawberry vinaigrette, which is not really my style however, it had goat cheese and I thought perhaps the offset of the flavors would not leave me with simply a sweet taste in my mouth. Suff that I was extraordinarily surprised at how well balanced the flavor in the vinaigrette was and how absolutely perfectly the goat cheese was I'm assuming flash fried. This is not an experience to be missed

First of all, the food was pretty good! I liked the food. The reason it gets such a low rating is because of the service, vibes, coffee, and the fact that I don't want to go back. The service was ok. Everyone was nice, but it felt like the front of house didn't really know what they were selling. They couldn't answer very many questions and they were just kind of quiet, unwelcoming, and awkward. Also, I had to get up more than a few times to get things or ask for water or napkins or silverware or my coffee order. Overall felt very awkward and uncomfortable. Coffee was not great by the way. I wish I would have skipped it. I'd love to be able to support it. But based on my experience, I won't be back.

This experience was odd. The place looks beautiful and has a big selection of pastries. The menu is a bit too extensive. It is Brazilian but the staff would not explain what anything was (for those of us not familiar with Brazilian bakeries). The service was very awkward. The young staff seemed to have no experience in customer service. They didn't know what some items on the menu were and could not explain them. They instead asked if I spoke Portuguese. We were worried to order food since they didn't even know the flavors/ingredients that they offered. I asked for a coffee menu and was told there wasn't one. When I asked for a recommendation they only pointed to the special of the day. Only one of us got silverware. There wasn't water. We had to ask them to refill the pitcher. We had to ask for napkins. We had to get up again and ask for our coffees. The coffee was not good. The food was actually pretty good, but came out a little too fast. It was all very confusing. The tables were dirty. Also it was very overpriced. I really was excited to try this place but our experience was unfortunate. It looks like a nice family owned business so I hope they make improvements as it does have a lot of potential.

Walking in the door it's so beautiful and unique, and are immediately greeted by so many options in this Brazilian bakery. Including a custom coffee and drink bar. Pastries of all sorts, but the menu has so many layers you'll have to come back once or twice a week just to try all the foods! Sweet or savory, unique, authentic, and high quality foodie adventures with every choice. We had some cheese squares that included tapioca with a jam (incredible), a lightly fried dough ball with shredded chicken and cream cheese (amazing and unique), and mortadella sandwich, and Patty's crepe (wowza!). Everything we tried and shared was worth the visit, and now we immediately want to go back. They even have a small "store" for unique Brazilian foods you can find just anywhere. Great for breakfast, lunch, brunch, meetings, coffee, or any other event where you need something exquisite and tasty, and want to wow your friends and family.

I am so proud to say that I actually started this establishment's Yelp presence, and they are doing fantastic! The place is crowded with happy customers, and they are gaining the popularity they deserve. Even though I had to stand in the longest line I've encountered so far, I am happy to do it! I can't wait wait to eat my lunch, drink my cappuccino in the bright & comfortable dining room, and then indulge in my cake later. And the service? Always pleasant, helpful, attentive, and top notch. Parabéns!!

Amazing brigadeiro and great customer service. It just a bit too American, need more Brazilian vibe.

The space has decent seating and even a co-op working space if you're looking for somewhere to work. Otherwise there's a good amount of space to hang out. The menu itself has a good variety of options. I do like trying out their seasonal stuff and this was pretty good. I got the tiramisu coffee which comes with a whole lady finger as a topping and is quite aesthetically pleasing. The mouthfeel was smooth and creamy, and it wasn't as sweet as I thought it would be. Overall I quite enjoyed it!

It was my first visit--I ordered an almond milk cappuccino, an iced banana bread latte, and a chocolate croissant (note: the full kitchen opens an hour after the shop). Both drinks were fantastic--well balanced, and the banana bread latte really tasted like its namesake without being overly sweet. The croissant was average, though I appreciated the smaller size compared to the oversized ones you usually see. The barista was knowledgeable and genuinely engaged with customers, which made the experience stand out. One downside: the Wi-Fi was slow, even when it wasn't busy, so I ended up using my phone hotspot. I'd come back to try the matcha and explore more of the food menu.

This is a great place to come study or do work on your computer. Some tables have outlets too. The service was good. No complaints. I came here because I heard their matcha is good. Each matcha is $8.5. They claim to use ceremonial grade matcha but under the matcha latte list, there is only one drink labeled CG (ceremonial grade) while others do not. The CG is the basic and they use agave for sweetening. They also don't hand mix per cup. It is pre-batched. I'm not a pre-batch hater although I do prefer each cup to be hand mixed, so I will give it a chance if it tastes good. The CG latte was surprisingly smooth and pretty good! Not bitter at all imo, but it was slightly grainy. They used the perfect amount of agave to balance. It wasn't sweet either. Just perfect balanced flavor for a regular CG matcha latte. The other matcha latte I ordered was the banana. It is SO GOOD! A lot grainier than the CG, though. But I would definitely order that again if I come to Katy. It has a cinnamon flavor in it (probably why it felt grainier than CG) and mixed with the banana flavor was just very yummy. Highly recommend!

The baristas and owners are genuinely welcoming and usually greet me when I walk in. Of course, if they're busy with orders, that might not always happen, which is completely understandable. What I really appreciate is how helpful they are. I'm pretty indecisive when ordering, and they've always been patient and willing to recommend drinks or answer questions. I usually go for their chai latte or spiced chai latte, and everything I've tried so far has been really good. Taste is subjective, of course, but I've personally enjoyed every drink I've ordered. From what I understand, they're also willing to remake or adjust drinks if there's an issue though I've never had to do that, even during busy times or when they're hosting events and pop-ups. So please double check with barista/management. One of the things I love about this locally owned coffee shop is their food. It's actually filling, which isn't always the case with cafés. My favorites are the honey garlic toast, bagels with cream cheese, and the buldak pizza. The shop itself is clean, well-maintained, and the restroom is always fresh, which I really notice and appreciate. There's typically a barista at the front to take orders, and when it gets busy, there's also a kiosk available. The layout is clear, with signs showing where to order and pick up, so it's easy to navigate. They also host events and offer space for meetings or casual hangouts, which adds to the community feel. It's a great spot to relax, read, study, or get work done. If I lived closer, I'd probably be here all the time. They also play great music definitely my vibe, though that comes down to personal taste. Overall, it's a solid, welcoming place that I've consistently had good experiences with. Plus it's Jeon Jung Kook approved! (See photo)
