We decided to try this little cafe in the neighborhood and I'm so glad we did. The staff were welcoming and friendly. That's the way it should be. We decided to try the breakfasts. The orange juice was freshly squeezed and this Florida girl loved it. We decided to try two of the breakfast platters. Mine came with amazing, scrambled eggs and crispy bacon and the most perfect pancake. I have ever eaten in my life. We then tried the fried eggs with some cheese in it and it was divine. The sausage was perfectly grilled and again the bacon was crispy to perfection. We also got a piece of their baguette bread and it was perfectly crusty and tasted so fresh and homemade I absolutely loved it. I highly recommend that you take a trip to this wonderful quaint café and try their breakfast and lunch. Great atmosphere. Nestled in a little strip mall, but with great decor and small, but comfortable vibe. The host was excellent, attentive, polite and apparently well loved by locals. First, the service is great. The waitress was amazing explaining things to me. The look of the place was also so cute and they staff was accommodating, cleaning up tables right away, all the stuff you want in a restaurant. Plus it was so cute. My thing is, the food was okay. Not gross. Not amazing, okay. And maybe I don't like this type of French food, but I just wasn't wowed and didn't want to bother finishing my plate. It feels bad to say that when they have such an excellent staff. I did order the crepe, so maybe I should go for the pancakes next time, I don't know. I'm more than happy to give them another shot, but right now this isn't a must come back kinda restaurant for me. Well, this was perfectly delightful. I popped in for coffee to kill time before my daughter's school event and how lucky I was. Service was excellent and my latte was masterfully crafted in under 2 minutes. It cannot be overstated how perfectly wonderful the food is. The hollandaise sauce is exquisite. This is 5-star cuisine. They also import their coffee from Guatemala, and you can certainly tell because the coffee is rich, flavorful, and excellent. I got fresh brioche stuffed with Nutella and strawberries, which was a 10/10. I also got the chicken and avocado sandwich, which comes with a fried egg on top -- this is not a plate you'd expect at a French restaurant, but the owner's wife is Guatemalan (hence the Guatemalan-imported coffee), so I gave it a shot and it did not disappoint. I would recommend this small, pretty cafe to anyone who's looking for a neighborhood cafe with amazing coffee. Service could be a little better as the waiters aren't as attentive and the food can take a little while to come (it wasn't packed) but everything tasted great.
