THE CREPE BENEDICT! The crepe Benedict was divine. A good portion! The dressing for the fries was a little different and very delicious.

I loved the place; it's new, and the staff are incredibly helpful and attentive to customers. The owner clearly has a passion for doing things well and giving his best. The dishes were divine, the crepe with chocolate ganache was the best. The place is beautiful and very peaceful.

Super cute and cozy. We were a big group, prob 13 and they were super nice and accommodating. The café is pretty and very well Decorated. The service was good and I found my food very tasty. I would definitely recommend.

First, the service is great. The waitress was amazing explaining things to me. The look of the place was also so cute and they staff was accommodating, cleaning up tables right away, all the stuff you want in a restaurant. Plus it was so cute. My thing is, the food was okay. Not gross. Not amazing, okay. And maybe I don't like this type of French food, but I just wasn't wowed and didn't want to bother finishing my plate. It feels bad to say that when they have such an excellent staff. I did order the crepe, so maybe I should go for the pancakes next time, I don't know. I'm more than happy to give them another shot, but right now this isn't a must come back kinda restaurant for me. However, it is a great restaurant if you want to see what decent service looks like.

Beautiful chic cafe. Food and service was great, they were able to accommodate our large group. Looking forward to out next visit.

We love it!! We had a wonderful Sunday brunch experience at Bonjour Cafe!! From the moment you walk in, everyone greets you with a warm smile. I love the cozy and inviting ambiance. The service is exceptional, friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. The food is excellent, flavorful, made with quality ingredients, beautifully presented, and served at the perfect temperature. We've had the chicken avocado toast, sausage omelette, chefs crepe, Nutella crepes. Let me tell you the portions are generous. The coffee is top-notch, cute designs and amazing taste, cappuccinos are delicious. You can tell that everything is prepared with care. We've visited for both brunch and late lunch, and it's always a delight (note they close at 3pm and closed on Mondays). I highly recommend Bonjour cafe whether you're catching up with friends and family, enjoying a day off solo, or spending time with a significant other, it's the perfect spot!Cant wait to come back again!!

Well, this was perfectly delightful. I popped in for coffee to kill time before my daughter's school event and how lucky I was. Service was excellent and my latte was masterfully crafted in under 2 minutes. It cannot be overstated how perfectly wonderful the food is. The hollandaise sauce is exquisite. This is 5-star cuisine. I am excited to return to try more menu items. You have won me over. Bonjour indeed!

Very unassuming but nice, quaint little restaurant. Food was absolutely delicious and the service was great. They also import their coffee from Guatemala, and you can certainly tell because the coffee is rich, flavorful, and excellent. I got fresh brioche stuffed with Nutella and strawberries, which was a 10/10. I also got the chicken and avocado sandwich, which comes with a fried egg on top -- this is not a plate you'd expect at a French restaurant, but the owner's wife is Guatemalan (hence the Guatemalan-imported coffee), so I gave it a shot and it did not disappoint. I look forward to coming back and trying the rest of the menu.

Although the service could be better, or maybe it was due to being very busy. Otherwise, everything was delicious! Cute little restaurant with yummy freshly orange juice and amazing desserts!

Wholly Crepe!! Russian Bistro - Tomball…read more What does authentic Russian hospitality look like? It looks less like a restaurant and more like a small doorway into someone's home -- a place where food is not rushed, and conversation is part of the meal. EXTERIOR: At first glance the building is modest, almost shy. A few outdoor seats, a quiet frontage, and public parking just around the corner. The kind of place you could easily pass -- and shouldn't. INTERIOR: Once you go up the steps, open the door, and the Northwest Houston surroundings fall away. The room feels lifted from a Russian village house, ( ): warm wood floors, wooden window frames, and intimate spacing. If you've ever been to Russia or watched any of the Russian movies or cartoons, this space will be familiar. Four tables and sixteen chairs, sit to the left; to the right, a narrow staircase evokes a country dacha, (). Larger tables gather families together, even a few small chairs waiting for children. Main room offers unique, (in glass shelves) Lomonosov Porcelain 1744 dishes, from St. Petersburg. As well as, carved wooden dishes, hand-painted details. Ask Mila and Bill for details. RUSSIAN HOSPITALITY: Arriving shortly after opening, Bill greeted me with a smile. Conversation came naturally and without agenda, as if we've known each other a long time. Mila, came out shortly after from the kitchen and I was able to converse with her in Russian and English. Both shared their meet story and how they decided to start this adorable business, May 2015. The story feels better heard from them directly. I set down to look at their abundant menu options. Meals here require patience. Many dishes are prepared from scratch. Part of Russian Hospitality is to welcome you in to their home, sit you down, spike up a genuine conversation and make a delicious home cooked meal. The rhythm slows; the outside schedule becomes irrelevant. I decided to order four of their popular dishes; #7 Tvorog Crepe, #24 Smoked Salmon Crepe, Siberian Pelmeni Bowl, and Cheburek. Let's go over each dish briefly. Gordon Ramsay once said - The way to know when something is cooked from scratch or microwaved is by the amount of steam or sizzling coming from the plate. #7 Tvorog Crepe - $12 Homemade Ricotta Cheese, Choice of Berries, Condensed Milk or Honey. I ordered mine with mixed berries, white powder and condensed milk. Something about taking each bite dipped in condensed milk with all the toppings makes your taste buds dance. Generous portions. #24 Smoked Salmon Crepe - $16 Tvorog Cheese, Salmon, Cherry Tomato, Green Onion, Salted Dill. As someone that adores a good salmon dish, clean flavors and a proper texture contrast -- delicate fish against warm crepe. The pairing works and generous portion. Siberian Pelmeni Bowl (24ct) - $17 Handmade dumplings in butter with your choice of dipping sauce. True Russian Hospitality - dish ware presentation along with the cuisine. The three-layered, brown color bowl looked presentable. Pelmeni looked freshly made and the steam coming from the bowl would make Gordon Ramsay smile. A slightly meatier filling would improve the ratio, but the flavor remains familiar and nostalgic. Cheburek - $9.50 Handmade Fried Meat Pie filled with Ground Beef & Onion. Served with your choice of dipping sauce. Good presentation and the taste was a good pairing combination with sour cream. Exterior texture was crispy, while the interior was soft. A fuller filling would strengthen it. OVERALL EXPERIENCE: While photographing the dishes, some cooled before I could eat them. Mila noticed and worried -- a small moment can be explained. If you've been around a Russian woman, you know they want nothing but the best for you when it comes to food. Wholly Crepe!! Offers some of the most unique and delicious cuisines for those who crave something different. Everything is made to order, from scratch, in small batches preserving authenticity and flavor. Come prepared to pause. The reward is a meal that feels cooked for you, not merely served to you.

The good: cute decor (there's a display case full of tea sets), and food flavors were fine (but…read morenothing to write home about). The bad: My first big gripe is the water. There's an expectation that in the US, tap water is free. Places that only have bottles typically will say, "We have bottled water; is that okay?" if you order water. This place didn't. They just brought out bottles. They're charging $2 each. Portion sizes are very small for what you're paying, and for the actual cost of the ingredients. My crepe was essentially a light snack for $14. Family friendliness is mixed. They're welcoming of kids, but there is no kids menu, and no changing table in the restroom. There's also only one customer restroom, so you're screwed if someone has to be in there for a while. The weird: The music did not match the theme or ambiance. Clearly they are trying to appeal to their customer base's favorite music by playing country hits, which felt a little out-of place. Like many other business in Old Town Tomball, this restaurant is in a converted house. You have to park in back but walk around to the front. Conclusion: If you live crepes or are looking specifically for Russian food, it's worth a try, but I'm not in any hurry to return.

Traffic wasn't too bad along Mason and the location was easy to find using GPS. The coffee shop is part of a shopping strip that includes other popular businesses like Aji Ramen and Hoodadak. We just stopped by for a few minutes and were recommended the honey nut latte as one of their more popular drinks. We got it hot. It was perfect! Not too hot, definitely not cold, great flavor, strong coffee flavor, and not too sweet. There's also a wall of fancy teas that's definitely worth checking out. (See my photo.) Service was also good! Nice, kind employee and the drink came out quickly. Luckily there wasn't a line when I arrived and only 2 other people in the cafe chatting at the time. Arriving around lunchtime on a weekday, I had the place to myself which allowed me a unique opportunity to take the place in. That being said, this spot is not overly French cafe themed, but instead a classic suburban strip mall spot with nods to the French peppered throughout the menu and decor. The booth area is well-designed, the spot was clean and the table touched by light so after a great experience chatting with the cashier I was crossing my fingers, hoping the food matched the vibe. I had a crepe Mexicana (because who has ever heard of that?!), a croque monsieur with tomato soup, and a dessert crepe because y'all know I always save room for dessert. It took a minute to be prepared, but I'm willing to wait for a fresh made meal. Everything, was delicious. Crepe texture was on point, and each crepe was stuffed to the Gods. Positive experience all around. My tip: Order the tomato soup and finish your meal with the following combo- a dessert Crepe Almonds with strawberries. Trust me on that one!

As it is located in Sugar Land Town Square, there is complimentary garage parking (a huge plus) amongst paid storefront area parking. The casual, order at counter concept is wonderfully executed as those placing an order at the counter will receive a number placard to place on any table of their choice so that food and specialty drinks can be delivered. The atmosphere is casual, relaxed, and welcoming despite a higher noise level that's prominent on the weekends. They serve crepes that are sweet or savory, from breakfast style crepes to super hearty lunch/dinner-worthy ones. My go-to is The Houstonian (mozzarella, bacon, sausage, potatoes, scrambled eggs, fresh jalapeños) when I go for breakfast/brunch, the Nordic (smoked salmon, dill sour cream, capers, scallions, pickled red onions, lemon) or the Chicken Carbonara (grilled chicken, mozzarella, bacon, parmesan, and cream sauce) when I'm having lunch or dinner. Of course, you can devour a sweet crepe any time and not just for dessert! I love the Apple Cinnamom Creme Brulee and the Dulce de Leche or Nutella with mixed fruit. The options are endless whether you're craving something sweet or savory. While I can't say that the crepes are authentically French, they are delicious in their way. The drinks are aplenty as well, including your typical fountain drink selection, hot cocoa, teas, lattes, milkshakes, and beer, wine, and cocktails. It's a good time with family or friends in a non-pretentious atmosphere. They are busy particularly on the weekends but the orders come out in a reasonable time frame from order to table.
