My go-to dish is the harvest breakfast where you can pick 4 breakfast items from a list. This is a great way to sample more menu items. Here's my take on some of my favorites: - Sourdough pancakes are thin & really delicious. - Belgium Leige waffle is very sweet with the pearl sugar "nuggets" in them so taste them before you add a lot of syrup. - Scrambled eggs are well seasoned, not bland. - Avocado & tomato or the fresh fruit are nice light touches as one of the side item choices. - Fried chicken tenders are really good. Spice level 3 (medium) is not that spicy. It's flavorful. - Grilled chicken tenders are good. As much as I typically eat grilled or baked chicken, I allow myself to choose fried for these. - Grits are creamy. I get them with no cheese. I'm not a big grits person but I do like these! The menu is very extensive. It includes vegan, vegetarian, keto & gluten free. Is the breakfast a little pricey, the answer is "it's all relative." Sometimes it's just worth paying for a great meal. In case you haven't gotten the message, Harvest Kitchen is a must try. Do yourself a favor & have a visit. I'm betting it will stay on your list as a repeat eating spot!! On Monday, June 30th at 9:04am, I called to share my experience with the staff. To be clear, my intention in calling was not to leave a negative review, but simply to bring the matter to the restaurant's attention - privately. Unfortunately, the owner, Albert, was defensive throughout the call. He said things like, "I don't doubt that happened, but we've never had a complaint," and dismissed my experience rather than showing concern. I explained I wasn't calling to leave a bad review but to make them aware. But alas, here we are. If you're looking for a place with good food and quality customer service, I suggest you look elsewhere. But if you're fine risking your health and dealing with defensive owners, Neca's may be the place for you.

My request for a croissant with the breakfast was honored and it was delicious. This gave me idea to check out more baked good from the showcase. I purchased a carrot cake to go and later wished I had bought two. The cake wasn't the traditional style with nuts and shredded carrots. Instead, the cake was the consistency of pound cake that came covered in a rich chocolate drizzled over the top.
