Our waiter, James, was polite, however he appeared very drowsy and struggled to stay attentive and appeared high. We had to ask for cutlery, which was brought without napkins, and then had to request those separately. The food initially arrived with the wrong sauce and had to be remade. When it returned, the katsu chicken bowl was missing a significant portion of its ingredients and the sauce was cold. The overall atmosphere felt very chaotic. When we asked for the bill, we were charged twice for the katsu dish and had to request a manager to resolve it. All talk / No action I was contacted regarding my review of poor food and drink quality as well as filthy restrooms. They told me that they wanted to send me a gift card so that I could give them another try and that they will do better. One of the best things on Cheesecake Factory's menu is the Beet and Avocado salad. Check the small plates and snacks page on the menu. The honey yogurt sauce brings it all together. It's a healthy dish that doesn't taste healthy if you know what I mean. I tried a new dish, the Teriyaki Salmon bowl. It was tasty and filling. Could have used some more sauce but other than that it's a dish that I would try again. I ordered take out. The service was helpful and came out much faster than expected. Arrived at 9:00Pm. Store closes at 10pm. Went to the bar. Bartender clearly irritated. Warned me that the kitchen was getting ready to close. I said you close at 10 right? She said yes but they are shutting down. I said ok I will order some food. She never offered me a drink, I had to ask for it. Then she started her closing duties. THEN after 5 min got me my old fashioned. Then "I" had to let her know I was ready to order. I ordered the Baja bowl. 10 min later it came out. No guacamole which is an ingredient. I questioned it, she went back to ask and 15 seconds later told me sorry we are out. I worked in the restaurant industry so I get it. But that is not satisfactory. I was willing to deal with it but was looking forward to it. If I had know I would have chose differently. Then a couple came in after me at about 9:30. She ran them out telling them the kitchen was closing and wasn't sure they could get their food. All the while bitching within hearing distance of all the customers in the bar that oh my gosh I'll be here until 1:00am closing now and making a quiet spectacle or so she thought. Then, I sat there with my drink empty and she never ever offered me another one. Clearly this young lady has a lot to learn about hospitality. Her only saving grace was a manager that came out of the back with 2 small cups of fresh made guacamole. Instantly changed my mood. That's a good manager, and that is the manager I confronted about her employee. I believe her name was Melody. She was a breath of fresh air. I was very disappointed with the service from the young bartender but I understand. Manager changed my mind. Bartender needs to re-evaluate her choice in jobs, people notice the rolling eyes, flailing arms and loud conversations. On my visit I ordered the Four Cheese Pasta and I added a Meatball. I know that this is a popular menu item so I was very eager to try it but unfortunately I was not a fan. The sauce was sweeter than i'd like and the noodles were very undercooked. It was also lacking in an authentic way. I can say their meatballs have been spot on at all locations i've tried. They are truly delicious! I honestly believe cheesecake factory is a hit or miss, sometimes I really enjoy their food and sometimes I really dislike it. Yet he then made a mistake with bringing us the wrong cheesecake. That's not a kitchen issue, as he's getting that himself. When we asked where our food was -- again, after 90 mins -- he came back and said "do you have a flight or movie to catch?" (Passive aggressive way of asking what our hurry was). No flight, no movie. First let me say that the service was top notch and my server was amazing. Normally the Cheesecake Factory exceeds my expectations however that wasn't the case during this visit when it came to the quality of food received. I started with the roasted brussels sprouts, which are my favorite and they were undercooked, which caused them to have a slight bitter taste, next I had the crispy orange chicken and shrimp meal and the rice was a no go that was undercooked as well. However, the chicken and shrimp had a great flavor. My sweet tea tasted more like unsweetened tea, but we're gonna reel it back in with an amazing review on the cheesecake. I got the mango Keylime cheesecake and it was amazing. Most definitely adding that cheesecake to my list of favorites. We have had the same waiter last two times we've been here, he is absolutely amazing. I find the menu a little overwhelming, because there are so many items in so many different categories. But one thing I do absolutely love and always have to get is their sweet corn tamale cakes and avocado egg-rolls!!! So usually I skip an actual entrée and just order appetizers with one of their tropical unsweetened iced teas! I'm lactose intolerant so most of the desserts are in the "no-go" zone for me, but my sister ordered the coconut cream pie cheesecake and I just had to take a bite. It was absolutely beautiful and it tasted amazing!! I wish I could've eaten the entire thing right then and there. My niece who's only 3 really just wanted some strawberries, so he brought that out on a cute little plate for her with some whip cream, and that just made her day. My mom can be quite needy at a restaurant with refills and extra bread, and other request, but our waiter handled it like a champ. He really was so patient and great and accommodating. I haven't been to this restaurant since it opened, so we decided to try it. The wait staff was very nice but they were very slow. Slow is an understatement. The menu is still so long and huge, it's hard to decide what to do. The prices are so high and when you get your food, the portion size isn't as big as it should be for what you pay. We started with the dried macaroni and cheese balls. They are served with basil sauce. These were good but not great. They were a little too fried, so it made them taste a little dry but they were not to bad. We had a pepperoni flat bread and the pepperoni was burnt and the flatbread was a little well done. The pepperoni was very spicy also. The vodka was good and pretty tasty. Again, for the price, you should have gotten a bigger portion. Again, food took quite some time to come to us, and then it was so well done. I will say, the hostess kept trying to sit us in a 2 top next to a very large man and party, while there were a ton of booths and bigger tables available. They need to be more aware to make the customers more comfortable and less uncomfortable. I don't think I would run to go back, as the food is over priced for what you get read more
