The service is always friendly and efficient, not much in the way of ambience, but it is a cute little place with homey touches here and there... I come for the food and that doesn't disappoint. 2 stars because previous visits were ok. Today, we were not served after getting our water. One server even asked if we were ready, I said yes, and he walked away. He continued walking around, talking to others and filling water or coffee, not sure which. There was plenty of staff so ‍ We waited another few minutes, saw that nobody was coming to take our order, to the point where the table next to us was also noticing our long wait, awkwardness had set in, so we left. I waved goodbye to the staff area where 3 of them were standing together, and left. What a waste of our time. Sure they're busy but there were plenty of staff standing and walking around. Visited on a Sunday about lunch time and the place was busy! Located on State street with parking behind accessible from Fourth. Inside looks like the inside was recently remodeled and very clean. Greeted quickly when arrived and the staff was friendly. I had the Greek scramble loaded with gyro meat, tomatoes and Kalamata olives and lots of feta cheese on top. Side of toast and choice hashbrowns, fruit or cottage cheese. I had the fruit with grapes, watermelon and pineapple in a large bowl. Lots of food for a good price. What a great find! Such an unassuming spot in downtown Marysville that we've overlooked for too long. Stopped in for a late brunch on Easter Sunday, no wait which was lucky on a holiday and in a small cafe. There is a small parking lot behind the building or street parking at the end of the block. Service was prompt, friendly, and personable. Our server readily provided candid answers to our questions (one being what kind of champagne did they use for their mimosas which is Cook's - not my fav so I passed). I was pleasantly surprised they carried beer and wine/champagne though! The specials listed looked amazing and I ordered the crab, mushroom, spinach omelet. REAL crab here, folks - not surimi (imitation crab)! Option of hashbrowns, fruit, or cottage cheese with a side of toast or English muffin. They had inticing lunch items as well. Their waffles are some of the best I have ever had. They're definitely the best in town. My typical order is a waffle and a veggie scramble. The avocado was freshly cut and tasty. The spinach was perfect. The egg was well cooked. The bad: the sauce was weird. Kind of fluffy but also heavy and within minutes it seemed to split. More like a gravy. Bland. The ugly: I ordered hash-browns - extra crispy... they deep fried them. Which, in my opinion - is lazy and ignorant. They were not edible. Service asked how I liked the meal and I let them know the hash-browns were pretty tough to eat and not what I expected. They offered to get me different ones but by then I was pretty ready to go. I can't believe I haven't written a review sooner! My husband and I enjoy coming here just about every other weekend. We love the pancakes *with extra syrup* and my favorite is the super omelette (it's huge!) its great for leftovers the next day. The food is always fresh and hot, they have good specials like the pumpkin spiced waffle! Not overly sweet and topped with whip cream. The staff are kind and this place is family oriented. These guys are the best I love a traditional breakfast with all my heart but I went gluten free about a year ago now (sensitive stomach) and it is so hard to find anyone who does any/good gf French toast/pancakes/toast/etc when I eat out. I usually just order omelets or scrambles because of limited options. They don't even advertise for subs but the first time I asked just in case, they made me gf French toast without question and it was sooooo good! And they always have it on hand! I've been here twice meeting with some friends once for breakfast and the other time was for lunch. This place has a older cafe vibe interior is clean with lots of booth seating you're greeted as soon as you enter and seated quickly coffee was also provided within a minute with menus the staff is super friendly and we had to wait for one of our party to arrive I was running late the first time and one of my friends the next but the staff was understanding and waited for all of us to get there so we could order at the same time. We didn't have to wait for long to receive our orders both visits. My biscuits and gravy were delicious as was my bacon cheeseburger the second visit. Both portions were good sized I was full and couldn't finish all of the French fries. Don't have any pictures yet I'll see what I can do next time cause I'll be back!! read more

Ordered eggs Benedict, omelette and two kids breakfasts. Biscuit on Benedict was a tad soggy. Hollandaise sauce was bland but I always put hot sauce on my Benedict so it didn't affect me too much. I ate at the Marysville location today, and we were very disappointed. I had the French dip with fries, and my daughter had egg Benedict. The fries were delicious, but everything after that was bad. The French dip was dry, and the Au jus was way too salty. The eggs Benedict hollandaise was separating, and the eggs weren't done enough.
