While staying in Seattle for a business trip, I tried Patty's Eggnest for breakfast and ended up DoorDashing it every morning on my trip because it was so yummy. I actually was not aware it was a chain until I went to post this review, since the food was so good. I got the Swedish pancakes, which I rarely see in California, and I really enjoyed them. They did come a bit burnt on the first day, which was a bit of a turn off. The butter that came with them also was not very high quality. I would appreciate butter chips that are prepackaged. I also got the hash browns with cheese, and I loved that you can request extra crispy hash browns. It definitely got the job done, and I am already missing those Swedish pancakes. read more

Solid diner by U Village that has a lot of options for breakfast or lunch. Recently tried the corned beef hash which was hit the spot. My dad ordered off the senior menu which is a good option for smaller portions at a lower price. It's not quite Voula's (especially with the hashbrowns!) but it's also not a bad option with plenty of parking and a convenient location. read more

Stopped by at 11am on a Thursday and we're seated right away. The service is good and the place feels cozy. The coffee is decent and they are on top of the refills. Bathrooms were very clean also. While we were eating there was a fly around our table that wouldn't leave us alone. The food came out almost suspiciously fast. Both our dishes were very mediocre. Both lacked flavor and depth. Our total was $50 before tip. I wouldn't come again but we may have just ordered the wrong things. read more

Servers were super friendly and the coffee kept coming! The eggs over easy looked gorgeous and were tasty, and potatoes O'Brien a nice touch. Pancakes were great (one was too big for me) and the cinnamon bun was small and yet perfect to split - very tasty. The servers were all in Hawaiian shirts and it made for a cheery atmosphere - there's a Hawaiian menu addition right now. Super cute. I removed a star because one plate came out with bacon that was very undercooked. It was fine for the other two plates. The server took it off the bill, not at all an issue, but still shouldn't miss that. Bacon and eggs are #1 here! read more

My group of 6 went out to eat here for brunch on a Sunday. We didn't make a reservation so we waited about 15 mins for a table. I get biscuits and gravy often when I get breakfast/brunch so I opted to get it here as well. It was okay, nothing special about the biscuits and the gravy wasn't that flavorful. I enjoyed the potatoes, but overall it didn't stand out to me. The restaurant was nice and the service was friendly. There is also only street parking for this location. If I were to come again I'd definitely try something else. read more

My husband and I came here for the first time for a late breakfast. We were greeted immediately and received some exceptional service while we were here. The portions are very generous. I would say the prices aren't bad for the amount of food you get. Food in Seattle is expensive in general, but we felt the large portions alongside everything being very tasty made it worth it! There aren't many good breakfast/brunch spots in Seattle, but this was definitely one of our favorites. We will definitely be making this a regular spot for us when we're wanting a solid breakfast! read more

The food came 55 minutes after being ordered and was cold while the restaurant was mostly empty. I ordered avocado toast and the bread wasn't toasted, the Avocado tasted like it was fermented and very very sour. It wasn't the waitstaff's fault. My recent meal there was disappointing, but it may have been only that dish. I ordered the Swedish pancakes with lingonberries and Devonshire cream. The lingonberries came in a tiny cup and were watery and seemingly devoid of flavor. The Devonshire cream also came in a tiny cup and was equally disappointing. The pancakes themselves were totally bland, and since they arrived at our table so quickly and were not hot, I suspect they were just reheated rather than being made fresh. Finally got to visit this new to the neighborhood breakfast place. We used to go to the Northgate place but they've closed there. This new location is clean, roomy and has more light than Northgate location. I had the smoked pork breakfast and my wife had her usual 1 egg bfast. I was a little surprised by the smoked pork which was a thick sliced of pork belly braised in adobo sauce. Not really smoked but tasty nonetheless. Service was alright. We were there early so only one server up front although she was talking in the back for a little while before coming out. Maybe a bell or something to notify staff of new customers. read more

My boyfriend and I were excited to check out this new brunch spot that opened up near UVillage while we were getting our oil changed at Grease Monkey. Located on 25th Ave near UVillage, they offer some parking in the back, but I mostly saw street parking outside. When we walked in we noticed how large the restaurant was. They have plenty of tables available and it definitely gave off a cozy diner vibe. Something that disappointed us about this experience was the service. When we got there, it took about 15-20 minutes before anyone helped us out/took our order. After that, it took an additional 45 minutes before our food came out. Whenever we did have the chance to talk to a server they were very sweet and welcoming, but it was disappointing how we were mostly neglected aside from our few interactions with them. In terms of food, we ordered the Hawaiian Ono grill for lunch and shared it between the two of us. It came with a hashbrown, spam, various sausages, bacon, sweet rolls, and three eggs that we got sunny side up. The portion sizes were huge so it definitely left both of us feeling full. The sausages were very flavorful and juicy, and I loved the added grilled pineapple on top. I will say there was very little about the dish that made it feel Hawaiian aside from the pineapple, but it's probably just because of what we ordered. The hashbrowns were good, however, it was extremely buttery so it depends on whether or not you like that. The dish overall was very heavy and greasy so I'm not sure whether I would get that one again. Overall, I'm sad to say I probably will not be trying this spot out again any time soon. What a terrible restaurant and garabage meal. About $50 for total crap for two, including feces skid marks in their toilet early in the AM. Scrambled eggs were a petrified hard lump tasting totally neglected and flavorless, as if they were, or could have been, cooked in the microwave oven. The tuna salad sandwich was just chunks of tuna straight out of a can or container, soaked in mayo, and not even mixed together. The food tasted like everything was made with cheap ingredients and I left there feeling sick from the low quality food. One of the biggest failures was a $4.15 (before tax) drip coffee that tasted like toxic waste. The side salad was nothing special and the dressing was a grave disappointment. Maybe better can be found in a gas station grocery shelf? While the service was decent, nothing can get me back in this place again. If by some miracle they survive, it will be unbelievable... Ambiance is nothing special either as the layout is kind of weird, and especially if you factor in the dirty bathroom. read more

Classic American diner with a Hawaiian twist. I didn't get any of the Hawaiian menu items, but me and my girlfriend got egg dishes and let me say: the egg commission did NOT lie! The pancakes were quite large and I couldn't finish them, but the eggs and bacon were as solid as they could be. This Patty's Eggnest not only has a really good breakfast but the nicest servers working there. If you are a senior, they offer senior specials which are exceptionally large portions. Coffee is also very good and they are really sweet with little ones!! Remember the parking is underneath the restaurant and reached behind the building - once you find it - it is incredibly easy to park unlike many other restaurants in the area. read more

We were sad when Patty's closed its Northgate location but a new one just opened in Ravenna! We went to check it out today and were pleased to find a spacious, clean diner with the same Patty's menu. The location has a convenient underground parking garage as well as street parking. Food is prepared quickly and tasted great. Also for those of you who have their punch cards, this location accepts them. Service was friendly and some of the same crew from Northgate has returned. read more

Very noisy place. There was another review that service was slow. That was our experience as well. Took over 15 min for server just to come by to see if anyone wanted coffee. Food was OK. Nothing was able to be customized. Asked for hash brown to be extra crispy. Came out barely cooked. Wife asked for eggs to be over medium to make sure egg whites were cooked. Came out raw. I wanted to try the latest restaurant addition in the neighborhood. In the 30 years I have lived in the Pacific Northwest, The meal I had today was the absolute worst. I ordered a scramble and it arrived so overcooked that you could not even taste the flavors of the vegetables or cheese in the dish.The eggs in the scramble were brown.
