My experience with this roofer was terrible. Long story short. I had fascia damage and had a roofing company come out to do an estimate. They advised I should contact the roof installer because it was likely they didn't install something correctly because the roof looked fairly new (turns out it's around 10 years old, I'm the second owner) and there is a leak making the fascia rot. Paul Bange Roofing came out and I had the worst experience. They completely denied any liability, told me the warranty doesn't transfer, and didn't even ask to go up on the roof to see if what the other roofer thought was happening was likely. It was a complete joke. I asked if this was how they did business and received a condescending reply akin to "I can't just do a dance and make it better". Asked why doesn't Paul Bange Roofing stand by their work and received the run around. Was even told to go with another company because their estimate was going to be better than Paul Bange Roofing's. Hired another company to fix the issue. They took pictures for me and said yes, the damage was caused by a leak due to an incorrect installation of the drip edge (I believe this is what it was called). For the record, I wasn't expecting a miracle. I just wanted them to go up and assess the situation honestly and if it was their fault, we could have probably worked something out. Instead it was a complete disaster. Just be forewarned, they don't appear to stand by their work. At All. Update: I'd like to update this review to add a picture and address Richard G's statement below. I'd like to point out in my original review I said the roofing company giving me an estimate for the fascia repair said it was 'likely' due to an incorrect installation issue. I never was adamant about it being 100% the issue. In fact, I told Fred exactly what was told to me. The previous roofer assessed it was the issue. It wasn't until after I got it repaired and the tile was taken off that the roofing company doing the repair affirmed the assessment. This first claim by you is false. Your second claim about me wanting it fixed for free. Yeah of course, that would have been nice and every homeowner wants repairs for free, but I never mentioned getting the roof repaired for free. I never mentioned the word free once with Fred. I asked him what would happen if the roofer's assessment was true and it was due to an installation issue and he basically said nothing you aren't under warranty. I said even it it was caused by your incorrect installation. I believe his response was something akin to, we can't know what was done to the roof since we installed it. Like I've stated to you. Fred immediately tried to dodge liability. There wasn't even a discussion regarding price. Your third assertion that I think you're too expensive. How would I know how expensive you are. You never gave me a quote to fix it, which even you stated. You never got up on the roof. I'm only going off from what your representative implied. A different company was going to be a better price than what your company could provide. I was told to go with another company and I did. Rich, you stated your company stands behind its work. I don't think you do. I've never had to write a review like this before. I don't typically write reviews. I think people need to know your company does not stand behind their work, can be rude, and were unprofessional. Paul Bange Roofing made a mistake and instead of doing the right thing (offer to check the previous roofer's assessment, offer to fix at cost, give a competitive price, etc) , you guys did the wrong thing, in my opinion. I think people need to know this before choosing you, which is why I'm leaving a review. read more

From the original sales call with Evan and Carlos, to team management, office staff and final inspection, this was an incredible experience. Each of the phases, roof tear down installing underlayment, making repairs to the wood sheathing and final tile installation went extremely well. The crews work very hard and they don't waste any time, they are masters at their craft and some of the details in the work are amazing. After each phase the cleanup was very diligent and my property was left in the same condition before they came, virtually spotless. This is a company that is super focused on customer service , customer satisfaction and just making their customers happy, just listen how the receptionists answer the office phone. They have been doing this for my whole life and it shows. They came with a magnet the day they removed the roof tiles to pick up any nails that lay on the driveway. They had to come back a second day and did not do such a good job picking up nails. I picked up one in my shoe but none in tires. Josh the Salesman was approachable, adaptable and available to troubleshoot any go-between communication. Christina's office and team were ready with answers about progress and permits. The price was not the highest and they had better reviews than the high priced companies so that cemented our choosing them. read more

Roof leaks following new roof. They did not want to fix them. They perforated my patio roof and probably parts of the other with 100's of holes, splitting the wood with sharp nails left visibly through the patio tongue and groove wood, with water leaking through the holes afterwards. They also put a vent over the roof wood, partially blocking the airflow. Many loose nails and sharp objects on roof after they said it was ready for the next inspection. Sloppy work at very high prices and then leaving me stuck with no remedy accept expensive legal actions. I could not recommend them and was glad just to get them off of the property. It was like talking to the wall. They would not let me ever talk to this Paul Bange about it. AND YES, I AM SURE THAT IT IS THE RIGHT COMPANY! Name changed to protect the innocent. Called them to fix a leaking roof. One of the roofers was smoking and flicking cigarettes off roof onto a $70,000 boat. Lucky had cover and burnt hole in it. They claimed they would replace, but now won't. I guess I should be happy they didn't burn my boat and house down considering boat had 50 gallons of gas in it. They will never touch my roof again. I was told REPLACED. Did it have a hole before you touched my roof Richard, nope. Stop being cheap and do the right thing. read more

We did a ton of research and vetted a bunch of different companies and then finally settled with Paul Bange Roofing (the local Lake Worth branch). Here's a few reasons why we chose them: 1) neighbor had their roof done and it looked good and they said they were really happy with the customer service 2) pricing was in line with competitors 3) the business was responsive and they will actually talk with you over the phone 4) they do a real estimate on site and do not try to do lazy estimates with aerial photos. 5) they are the most accommodating with existing gutters 6) they sincerely wanna get your business 7) the warranty is really good. There were no problems setting up everything and the employees were good at answering all of our questions and giving good professional quotes. There were no issues during the installation and they seemed to be honest about how much wood they were replacing which was a real worry for us. The only little hiccup was at the end with some very minor discrepancies we found, but they did respond and fix/address all of those to satisfaction. Throughout the process they tell you they stand by their work as if it is their own roof for the next bunch of years and will fix anything wrong with it that were to ever come up. Our main contact was employee Paul K. if you wanna try asking for him by name. We did have another competitive company completely flake out on us who was in final contention with Paul Bange Roofing. We asked them a few questions and then they disappeared and refused to contact us back. That's exactly how they would have been if we hired them and an issue came up, so recommend testing some of the competitive company's customer service to see if they will follow through. read more

Bange refuses to honor the repair warranty (OCC) That I paid $240 for on January 18. On that date, they filled out a 17 point inspection summary with everything checked off as good condition, and I paid them as usual. I reported a leak, and two weeks later, on September 2, they sent a sales rep instead of a repair man. He said they would not do any more repairs as the roof was not in good condition, and instead gave me an estimate for a new roof. Bange put me in a bad position by suddenly refusing to honor the repair agreement. I am a senior citizen and cannot buy a new roof right now. I emailed Bange but they did not respond. They will not the repair or even give back the money I paid for coverage through next January. read more

I have used Paul Bange Roofing for several roof projects and repairs over the years always with a good result! This year, after harrassing letters from Citizens threatening termination, Paul Bange Roofing inspectors came out twice and submitted a detailed report and photos that prove the roof (5 years old) is in excellent condition! My understanding is Citizens is trying to lessen their burden by harassing, threatening and terminating customers who have no where else to go.
