Updated review. (Previous/original review will follow)…read more First off, to Jessica L., who responded to my review that I had the wrong business: Please correct your statement that Dr. Greene is not affiliated with Skin & Cancer Institute-Ridgecrest. Your own published address & phone for Ridgecrest are 1200 N China Lake Blvd., Suite A, Ridgecrest, CA 93555; (760) 446-9007 (Skin and Cancer Institute website). Providence Health Plan's directory lists "David E. Greene, MD" at "La Laser Center PC, A Professional Medical Corporation" at the same address & phone. Dignity Health likewise lists La Laser Center PC at the same address/phone for your Ridgecrest dermatology line. CMS' Medicare records show La Laser Center PC as the enrolled legal entity used with payers. Sources: Skin & Cancer Institute Ridgecrest page; Providence provider entry for David E. Greene, MD (Ridgecrest address); Dignity Health provider pages (Ridgecrest address/phone); CMS Medicare Revalidation tool (La Laser Center PC NPI 1306982855); NPI profile showing 1200 N China Lake Blvd Ste A among La Laser Center PC's practice locations. MY PREVIOUS/ORIGINAL REVIEW: There needs to be an investigation into the operations of Dr. Greene. Prescribing radiation for an elderly person, whereby it is not appropriate Treating only part of the body and not the other part to double the number of visits and treatments

I don't live in Ridgecrest so I called the number in spite of the fact it didn't mention it was a hospital number. I was told the Clinic was across the street from the hospital. I arrived on time to the Medical Office but all the doors were locked. There was a frail elderly man trying to gain access also. I called the number and told the receptionist I couldn't gain access to the building. She sarcastically said we have been seeing patients all day. I clarified the building was across the street from the Hospital and in front of the Marriott. I finally gave up and hung up on her. Someone else called back and gave an address of a street name I couldn't pronounce and certainly couldn't couldn't spell. She told me to put the address in my smart phone. I am a senior citizen and I can't see the screen of my phone in the sun. After driving over 2 hours to get to the appointment I just had to leave. This whole epic could have been avoided if they would have texted me an address and an appointment verification. The elderly man that was there also just left. Unbelievably poor patient service. I hope the Dr is aware the poor quality of the staff is preventing him from seeing patients

Thank you to all the members of Staff in the ER. I appreciated you this morning.

I have been going to Dr. Christenson for a few years. I really appreciate his "bedside" manner and…read morehis receptionist/assistant is lovely as well. I had been going to another dentist who told me that I would "always" require periodontic work, and I had accepted that prognosis. When that dentist left town, I had to find another one. Dr. Christenson is very close to where I live, so I thought "why not give him a try"... I've been hooked on him ever since I started going to him. When I started seeing him, I had to have gum surgery (performed by an oral surgeon). When I healed I went back to Dr. Christenson and he took his time to show me what I was doing wrong (not brushing long enough, etc...) and now, because of his expert advice, I no longer need periodontic work!!! And that's been about 2 years now.... I highly recommend Dr. Christenson.

I asked again point blank how much the procedure would be, he hedge again. Sigh. If I cannot trust him to give me the straight scoop on the price, how can I trust his judgment on what procedures to perform? Come to think of it, I came in with one issue (loose crown). He removed the crown and proceeded to do something else that he thought was required that I didn't -- soaking up all of my years dental insurance in the process. And I still had to have the crown work completed. Okay, I'm knocking another star off.
