Shannon listened carefully before touching a single strand. She asked the right questions about my hair, my lifestyle, and how I wear it day-to-day, then delivered results that matched exactly what I had in my head but couldn't quite put into words. The color is great. The keratin treatment has transformed my hair in a way I didn't think was possible, and the cut ties it all together perfectly. Randt Salon is the kind of place that feels elevated without being intimidating. People stop in just to say hello. I walked out feeling like myself, but the best version. Thank you, Shannon.

Shannon really listens, knows her craft inside and out, and makes you feel completely comfortable and confident in her chair. What truly sealed the deal for me was sending my 17-year-old son to her afterward. He came home raving and said it was the best haircut he's ever had--which, if you have a teenager, you know is high praise. Shannon is talented, professional, and genuinely cares about her clients. Randt Salon is a gem, and we've officially found our go-to stylist. Highly, highly recommend!

Shortly after receiving it, I became seriously ill and lost all of my hair. After years of treatment, my hair finally grew back, and last week I was finally ready to get a haircut. Before my appointment, I told Kasai that I had a gift card. When they attempted to process it, I was told it had "expired" and that they would not honor it. This was not a promotional certificate--it was a gift card that had been purchased for full value. I was told I would have to pay for my haircut. Kasai offered a "discount" if I paid by cash or Zelle, reducing the price from $159 to $140. I paid $100 in cash and $60 by Zelle and kept the unused gift card. Today I called simply to thank him for the haircut and to explain that I would speak with the friend who purchased the gift card. I also mentioned that my understanding is that California law does not allow purchased gift cards to expire. At no point did I mention legal action or threaten to sue. His attitude changed immediately. He became defensive, rude, and told me that if I wanted to pursue legal action, I should go ahead. Again, I had never mentioned anything about lawyers or lawsuits--I was simply trying to resolve the issue respectfully. What disappointed me most was not even the money. It was the way I was treated as a customer. Instead of listening or trying to resolve the situation, I was met with hostility and dismissed. I would strongly caution anyone considering purchasing a gift card from this business. If the recipient cannot use it for any reason for a period of time, you may be told it has "expired" and refused service. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this business, and I will be filing a complaint with the appropriate consumer protection agencies.

Obnoxious and Unaccommodating…read more I'm a local for 30 years in the South Bay. I usually get my hair cut at Joseph Martin or Christophe in Beverly Hills. It so happens today, I'm just not in the mood to drive up town. It's already 2 o'clock in the afternoon. So, I got on line and search for local hair salon. I came up on this place and something about it appealed to me. At the time, I saw there were about 5-6 stylists on their website, so maybe 1 is in between appointments that would squeeze me in, It could happen. So I got to the Salon and it felt very unwelcoming. No greetings, nothing as I stood there. First of all, there were only 2 customers in there, and it looks like 2 stylists and one was the owner. He finally looked at me and asked what I need. I said I need a haircut, and there was a big pause and then he went to say he's booked. That's ok, but then the reluctance in offering any kind of service or remedy was so apparent. By the way, where are the rest of the stylists? hmmm. I stood there, unmoved, and he went on to say it will be a while. I'm thinking maybe later today or? but nothing came forth. So I had to ask, A while meaning later today or what are we looking at? he said he's booked for 6 weeks out, without offering to schedule me for another visit, maybe even with another stylist. He just simply turned me away. That's a first. Even if you go to the most posh hair salons in Beverly Hills, no one is ever booked out 6 weeks, especially looking around at this hole in the wall, not likely. Seems more like there's a stench of discrimination. He then suggest I should go upstairs to another salon and see if there's any availability. No thanks, I didn't ask. I would never again give it a second thought.

She doesn't just give a haircut, she teaches you how to shape your hair to fit your face and actually work with your natural texture. I've sent so many friends to her, and every single one has ended up switching from their previous hairstylist to Janelle permanently. She especially shines with curly hair and truly knows how to bring tired, damaged, or shapeless hair back to life. From face framing layers to full hair revivals, she somehow always nails it. You can tell she genuinely cares about her clients leaving confident and loving their hair. Finding a stylist this talented feels like discovering a hidden little treasure chest with scissors.

Unfortunately, this experience was incredibly disappointing. I showed the first stylist multiple reference photos of what I wanted, but she ended up adding a very dark root color to my already lightened hair, which was the complete opposite of the look I asked for. After expressing my concerns, the salon did have another stylist step in to help correct it, which I appreciated, although I waited nearly two hours in between. The second stylist made me feel much more comfortable and did improve the situation, but I still left unhappy with my hair overall. The correction consisted of using a color remover on the roots and applying toner to the rest of my hair, and I was charged $265 for it. At the end of the day, my hair looked better than what the first stylist did but still nowhere near what I originally asked for or envisioned. I'm leaving this review because I think communication and transparency are incredibly important, especially with color services. What upset me most was not just the outcome, but the way the situation was handled overall. I understand that corrections can take time and effort, but if I was going to be charged $265 for a corrective service after my hair was initially mishandled, that should have been clearly communicated to me beforehand. I truly wanted to love this salon and leave feeling taken care of, but unfortunately I left feeling disappointed, uncomfortable, and unhappy with the overall experience.
