I came to Paula's for the first time today. I've had their donuts before and cannot complain about them, they are delicious and very worth it! Although today I came in and ordered a Sausage, Egg, and Cheese breakfast sandwich and a Strawberry Banana smoothie. The smoothie was amazing, hit the spot. The breakfast sandwich, on the other hand, was missing the egg. I realized this after I had gotten home so I couldn't just go back. I still ate it and enjoyed it but the missing egg definitely threw me off. The service was amazing and it was pretty busy in there so I understand it was an honest mistake, but I hope this review encourages employees to double check the food before they pack it! Despite the missing egg I do see myself coming back to try again as the service and vibe of the place was really great. I would definitely recommend coming here! read more

I am writing this in regards to the woman who was treated negatively at this location. The community does not tolerate unexcused behavior like this to call the cops on her for making a mistake on her order and ruining her son's birthday. The young woman who hung up the phone on her, likely called the police due to the fact, she knew she was going to get in trouble and did not want to so she made a lie. why would the woman come get her donuts exchanged and then have the police called on her? This is making absolutely no sense she got her correct order. Why would she threaten you and do you have proper camera footage? Because the police seemed very confused as well. My absolute favorite place for donuts! They put a lot of heart and effort into every donut. Never skimping out on frosting, glaze, or toppings. Every donut feels like it weighs a few pounds because of how much they really pack them with flavor and filling. My favorite is the headlight donut, which is chocolate frosting with vanilla cream stacked in the middle and on top. They also have seasonal donuts that proceeds go to charities. This month was the Cookie Monster donut with proceeds to fight child absuse. It was a frosted sprinkle donut with a cookie in the middle, decorated to look like the Cookie Monster. I don't remember when I had my first Paula's donut but it was evidently life-changing because I think about them all the time now. My personal fave and go-to is the headlight donut. I think this donut is underestimated and not usually the first one people think of. It's kind of like a bonus angel cream filled donut because it's got the angel cream on the inside and on top. Do I go into a sugar coma about half way through typically? Yeah. Yeah I do. Does that stop me? No. I power through because it's incredible. I love donuts, it's one of my favorite foods. Even though I have a bunch of places near me for donuts it's worth the 20-25 min drive every so often to get Paulas donuts. The donuts are pricy and that's the only drawback, it's twice the price but the donuts are twice the size of normal donuts. Always fresh and the best flavor you will find anywhere, and some flavors you can't find anywhere else. I don't normally like peanut donuts, there's is the exception, it makes all other donuts seem inferior to it. Must try if you have not been. I was recently let go for having a quick apple juice and making an egg sandwich during my 15-minute break - something I thought was completely fair to do on my own time. I haven't been here in over 3 years. My mom wanted to go after we left Ted's today. Omg, those donuts, pastries , cinnamon rolls, etc. looked SO Amazing !!!!! The size of everything is humongous !! What a great Saturday morning with donuts! My friend bought me once last time and I was in love with their donuts already! Went there today to pick up donuts for me and my girlfriend. The line is long, pretty long that I waited for about 20 minutes at 8:00 am. However, it totally worth the wait because the donuts are so good! I really enjoy the Honey Dips which are the top twos, the best I have ever had in my life. Even then I'll pass them by if they aren't my favorites. I am not a huge donut fan, but Paula's on fat Tuesday is worth stopping by to have a paczki. They look like huge donuts and come in glazed or powdered with several fillings. We had 2 glazed ones; a black raspberry and a Bavarian one. We shared both and really enjoyed them. We went back a couple of days later for their new creation: the Cannoli Donut. We stopped fir fastnachts, but they are not available until Ash Wednesday. Instead, we purchased a paczki and a cannoli donut. We shared the black raspberry filled paczki when we got back home. There was a wonderful amount of the seedless jam in each 1/2 of the paczki. Staff was friendly and the donuts were honestly incredible!!! I also got one of the cannoli donuts ( not included in the picture- I ate it too quickly. It was stuffed when I ordered it and had so much cannoli filling it was bursting out the top of the donut ) The fillings they use are delicious and not overly sweet. The actual donut itself was so fluffy but dense at the same time. You could easily eat an entire box without realizing it, they are THAT good, Out of all the donuts I had the coconut was my least favorite. I mean Donuts On my visit to Buffalo/Niagara Falls, I wanted to try the most reviewed Donuts in the area which happened to be Paula's Chocolate Honey Dip Glazed Cinnamon Apple Fritter Chocolate Honey Dip was decent. Glazed Cinnamon tasted like an apple fritter without the apples. The Apple Fritter was my favorite of these three. It didn't have a normal apple fritter design and it looked like a scrunched up ball. I do have to say the apple filling they put inside was pretty good. It wasn't too sweet and had a slight tartness. Sad to say I didn't see any of their Specialty Donuts in stock when I went. Hubby wanted to get the peanut donut he saw in a video. The last time we stopped at one of their locations, they were sold out but we figured it was late in the afternoon. So we were in the area again and decided to try again but this time here at the original location. We got here around noon on a Sunday and already there were slim pickings for donuts and of course no peanut one. Hubby picked up a couple of donuts that were available: sour cream glazed and a seasonal cherry sour cream one. Wow the texture of the sour cream one was so soft and crumbly. It was delicious! The cherry one had the same texture but unfortunately we did not like the taste of that one - it reminded us of cough syrup. Definitely recommend the glazed sour cream one! read more

I love Paula's so much! All other donuts have been spoiled for me after I first tried them years ago, and nothing has changed for me since! We went today mid-morning with our kids (parent life, celebrating St. Patrick's day with coffee and donuts instead of green beer!). I let my daughter choose her donut, and she picked a long John that has Lucky Charms, a sour gummy rainbow with frosting clouds, and strawberry filling. This thing was absolutely massive! She ate a quarter of it before she was done, and she loved it. It was bursting with filling and she couldn't help but make a mess. I love how Paula's never ever skimps on anything and it's always good! I got the peanut butter angel cream, always my choice, and always amazing. We got our baby a donut hole (he liked it but still wary of new solid foods) and my silly dieting husband got no donuts (sacrilege!). They make their donuts throughout the day and always have a large variety. I personally love the Angel Cream (Filled with tons of light, fluffy, sugary goodness) and Peanut Sticks. The donuts are huge, very filling and very reasonably priced. Recently though I have become especially fond of the donut holes which they have a large variety of. The chocolate honey dip and peanut donut holes are perfect when you don't want a whole donut. Donuts holes are 12/$3. They also make a wonderful, fresh house made carrot cake with excellent cream cheese frosting, very reasonably priced at $3 a slice. They always have a special flavor of the Month.
