I was at the outlet mall and decided to stop for a donut. I swear it is difficult to find a GOOD donut. Anywho, this place is in like a stip area not far from the outlet. It puts me in mind of Donut Craze. They had a decent amount of flavors, and the cashier was very nice. I purchased a half dozen along with some coconut and peanut donut holes. When planning our trip to Niagara Falls, Frankie's made it to the top of our list with it's impressive menu of sweet doughs. Our first trip (yes there were two), we got an assorted box of 6...I think my boyfriend and I could agree we liked all of them besides one. Not too bad of a ratio, right?! There was no way we were leaving town without bringing a box home, so we got a dozen...they were that good. Didn't hurt that the establishment has a "buy 2, get 1" donut deal that seems to be offered daily. Additionally I tried the BEC on a roll...I'm more of a savory gal in the AM. Hubby and I found Frankie's Doughnuts through Facebook as they requested me to "like" their page. I did like it and was delighted to find this small, local business! As soon as I liked their FB page, I found them on Yelp to skim through pics and reviews. I found a bomb deal on their Facebook page! Monday and Tuesday, 1/2 sheet pizza with 2 toppings for only $12.50 and includes taxes!! We jumped on that deal right away and it was yummy! The pizza sauce is slightly sweet, but we both enjoyed it. The crust is super yummy with a bit of crunch. We'll def be back for more pizza and to try the chicken fingers and the doughnuts! We didn't try the doughnuts this time due to COVID-19 with the doughnuts being out in the open. Didn't want to risk it in case there's anything in the air. They are fresh and sweetly decadent, with a good variety of flavors to choose from. I prefer anything with white angel cream in the middle, and both the angel cream frosted or the peanut cream at Frankie's are YUM. I also LOVE a good cherry chip donut, a flavor not so readily available in donut shops these days, but it is a staple at Frankie's. Coconut cream, maple frosted apple, and red velvet are a few other flavor faves of our fam'. It was not until very recently that we ordered food from Frankie's, as beyond donuts they are a pizza and sub shop too. My husband and I recently stayed in Niagara Falls at the Giacomo Hotel for our anniversary stay'cation. We wanted to Door Dash pizza one night, and Frankie's popped up as free delivery for pizza. We ordered a half sheet double cheese, and of course some donuts. Delivery was FAST and accurate; the pizza was actually still HOT when it arrived! The dough wasn't thick or thin, it was right in the middle, with a nice subtle sweetness to it. We both enjoyed Frankie's simple tasty cheese pizza very much. Door Dash donut delivery from Frankie's was awesome too, as Door Dash actually lists all of the flavors and lets you individually pick your kinds, not always an option with donut places on Door Dash. These days we are light on carbs, except when we are on vacation. So the next time I am in Niagara Falls for a stay'cation with the hubbs, I look forward to indulging in Frankie's donut and food menu again, totally exploiting the stay'cation/vacation loophole, haha. :-D read more

Definitely a favorite! You can't beat the donuts here. They ha e quite the variety and they're always delicious. I particularly enjoy the breakfast sandwiches. They're close to work, always open and affordable. I'm not a coffee drinker but my coworkes swear by the coffee here. Now let's be real ..it doesn't have the most curb appeal and there is some unique clientele. I can count on one amputated hand how many times I've dined in. I don't always have time but even if I did, I wouldn't. But that's a me thing. Now with the guy who is running it that harasses all the women that work behind the counter belittling their ability to do customer service and the outrageous policies when ordering over the phone, I will never go to this place. I'm going to call this a Fusion diner because what better a combination than Pizza and donuts. They have a 2 slice, can of pop lunch special for $4.50. Their pizza is already sliced (squares) in the case and it's grab and go if you don't order in. I also tried 6 donut holes. If you do, you're reading the wrong person's reviews yo. I ordered the 2 donuts they recommended most highly. I found them to be stale, tasteless, overly sweet, the aftertaste was nasty, service was OK, clientele was scary (okay not to me but they might be to you), and no Viagra was on sale. I thought that in Viagra Falls you could get them anywhere. But no. Basically they remind me of Paula's Donuts but less fresh and slightly less tasty, but it's a similar consistency and a similar fist-shaky-guy-on-gmail-chat-disapproval from me. However if you are a donut person and specifically a Paula's person, then give them a try. For all the love Paula's gets, this place deserves a little too, because it's really the same thing. I'm not even that much of a donut fan, but was inspired me to sing donut songs into the night after eating it. Okay, not really. So how's the food? Eh. It's okay. I had the vegetarian burrito and it had no beans, which in my opinion then fails to be a burrito. It tasted okay, but I guess you sprinkle some mayo on anything and it will be "okay." If you're drunk and coming in at 3am, perhaps their food options will set you straight; they have some greasy choices, but I was feeling like I had to offset my donut by buying something healthy (hence the veg burrito). It kinda worked..? On the interior, this place is no frills and the bathrooms are on the borderline of being dirty. I would give this place three stars, but I'm reviewing a 24 hour local donut joint that serves some food, the only thing that you should expect from this place are incredible donuts. This place has such good reviews, but we were so disappointed in our experience. Hopefully it was just an off morning. My husband and I came in around 6:30 am, kind of early but DST, ya know! We each got a donut and a drink, and we ordered an onion bagel to split. The woman at the counter was okay, not friendly, but not rude. There was 4 other people eating in as well. As soon as she got us paid for, she went into the back with a bunch of other employees and had forgotten my bagel in the toaster. It wouldn't have been a big deal, but she didn't come back out until the door rang with another customer about 10 minutes later. She apologized and dropped the bagel back down to heat it up but it was hard from being toasted twice and sitting there :(. The donuts were ok, not the best I'd ever had. The drinks are all bottled.
