Got a full set done and it wasn't the best. The technician was called in on her day off, so she was in a rush. She filed my nails very harshly and painted over my cuticles. There's still glue on my nails and skin. She didn't even put lotion on my hands or massage it. Usually I would have rated this place with 5 stars, but after today... The view of this place has changed. I have been coming here since it opened, and used to be a a customer of theirs at their old shop. Today I came in and asked for Paula (owner) to do my gel manicure but and she was out of town. I usually only have her do my nails but decided to allow someone else. I called ahead and made an appointment. When I got here I realized they were much more busier then usual. I waited a bit and Tammy did my pedicure. ( I recommend only Tammy for pedicure). Someone else ended up doing my nails. At first she appeared to be taking her time and doing my nails right... But then, another customer came in (that also had an appointment) and the girl doing my nail decided I was no longer important enough and rushed through my nails as if it was nothing. Remember, I had a gel manicure, and after she was done it looked as if my 6 year old did my nails. It was horrible enough that the girl next to m said "wow, she really didn't care". I demanded them remove the gel. They kept pushing and pushing me to do my nails again, but at this point I was already there for 3 hours!!!!! After not complying to do my gels again, they started talking all kinds of stuff in their language. Had this been my first experience, I would never return. Three weeks ago, I got acrylic nails with oval shaped tips. During this period of time, my nails naturally grew so now I'm due for a fill. I went in expecting to have my nails filed down to the length it was three weeks ago and for the growth to be filled in. I didn't get what I expected. I don't know the name of who did my nails because our communication was kept to a minimum. Right off the bat, all she said to me was "fill?", "you have gel on?" And "you want pedicure too?" (Yes to all three). She then proceeded to remove my gel, answer a phone call, and stop several times to greet a regular customer. Halfway through my service, I noticed that she wasn't going to file down my nails a bit so I asked her to. Instead of asking me how short I want it, she took the drill and filed my nails so short that they look like natural nails. The oval shape also turned into a square with rounded corners shape. We're 45 minutes into the service now when someone finally comes over and offers to do my pedicure. I declined because I don't have the time. This is when the lady who was doing my fill's attitude completely change. She demanded to know why I'm not doing a pedicure when I said I wanted one. I said that I expected it to be the same time as my fill and I don't have the time to barely start in a pedicure. She just kept saying "that's why she do now!" If I thought that she was doing a shitty job before, it got worse. She wears glasses to be able to see to work. Well, she removed her glasses and proceeded to paint my nails. I pointed out that she painted over a lint or something on one nail because there was a noticeable bump. She kept asking "where!?" With an annoyed attitude and then decided to put on her glasses to look at it. Her solution? To paint another coat on top of it. The bump is still there!!! I would give it 4 stars for the work they do but I give it 2 stars because the wait is insane. Always someone on vacation here and they understaff. The wait can very from 1-2 hrs with an appointment. They need more nail techs that can do full sets. read more

I called over to Paula's which was across town. Paula answered & she immediately told me I didn't need to pay the pedicure rate. That she was 4. So I had already gone once time before and I was genuinely pleased with the results, but this is about the second time I went. I went on a Wednesday at about 11 am for a pedicure and there were three people working and they were already working on someone. The reason I stayed was because one of them was already painting someone's toenails so the wait wouldn't be long. They sat me down and told me they'd be with me shortly. About 10 minutes later someone else walks in and sits down. The lady that was finishing up started cleaning up her station so I thought it would be my turn next. She then proceeds to go to the other person that got there after me and starts soaking her feet to do her pedicure. She then turns to me and says "she was here before you so you'll have to wait." The only reason I come here is because it's cheap and they do a pretty good job. I expect getting crappy treatment from a place like this, but blatantly lying about who got there first crosses the line. I gave it 10 minutes and walked out. So I had 2 ladies. My pedicure was good. However, my gel manicure was awful. I had Wendy I believe (super skinny and very small lady). So Why? Well, the gel was not smooth and the job does not look professionally done. There are waves and bubbles in my gel manicure. I told her to fix it, but 8 of 10 of my fingers came out that way. Then she didn't paint a good curve near the cuticles and came out crooked. My sister asked me if I did it at home with my left hand. I called the place 30 minutes before closing and they still excepted me and my friend which was pretty cool of them to do. Sadly this place is disappointing. Don't expect to get what you ask for. There were 3 of us- 1 left with 5 bleeding toe nails, 1 left with bubbles all over her gel mani and ugly nail art of which 3 are bleeding, 1 left with plain nude nails when art was asked for on each nail. So... Just don't go unless you are willing to speak up if there are issues. We are non confrontational so we didn't say anything. Just wanted to get out of there. We paid $96 total for 2 gel manis, 2 regular pedis, and 1 gel pedi. The work cost $90. They charged $5 each nail for the nail art which was pitifully done. It was terrible. I've been here twice now, and this review is only for my most recent experience. I hate to be "that girl" that gives a poor review of places that obviously have some fans and repeat customers. However, I'm still going to be honest about my experience. Manicure: 4 stars. The girl (Kim?) that did my French gel mani was great. She spent a lot of time getting even lines on the white tips and repeatedly asked me if I liked them. For the most part, she did well with my cuticles. She dug on a bit too deep on one thumb, but it wasn't a huge deal because I had a decent hangnail happening. Nobody's perfect. Pedicure: 2 stars. Holy hell, I've never had a pedicure hurt so much! I don't remember her name, but the lady would not stop stabbing and digging at the nail bed of my big toe on my right foot. Two days later and it still hurts. I can barely touch it without a throbbing pain. I'm crossing my fingers that it doesn't get infected or fungal (I've seen and heard some horror stories and I'm praying that doesn't happen). I should've stopped her, but I figured she knew what she was doing. Overall: Avg 3 stars. Save yourself the pain and stick to manis only. read more

The only critique I would have for the business is to possibly upgrade their facilities with spa pedicure massage chairs from foot baths with plastic bags inside. read more
