I never right reviews but i am gonna start to bcus i go by them myself so here goes.....I went in for a full set and a pedi it was about 7pm a week ago I called first and asked if paula had time for me she said yes so I went in and they were busy this was my first time there thought I would give it a try bcuz of the reviews on yelp.. well first of all paula never did my nails it was the guy doing my nails he was so slow n cut me while filing me... but luckily my nail shape over all came out nice how I wanted it... I picked a midnight blue n it looked beautiful till now its only been a week since I've had these nails n they look like I got them a month ago the color looks so dull n with no shine what's so ever anymore I understand I didn't get gel but they still shouldn't look like this especially in one week n I take very good care of my hands... as for my pedi the girl did a good job except she didn't cut my toe nails so I had to go home n do that myself if I'm paying for a service I shouldn't have to do any of it myself ... I Works give 0 if I could I just left this place very upset that I believe the owner of this place gave me a 10 min pedicure because she claims she was too busy and charged me for it...people take your business elsewhere the other reviews are real ! They wanted to charge me $7 extra to get the shape I wanted, charged me $5 extra because I asked her to clean my cuticles up a bit more AND wanted to charge me $3 extra to fix a mistake SHE MADE! She was very rough with me and cut my fingers various times with the cutters and the drill and "burned" my skin with the file. Essentially, you get what you pay for. Love this place, they have a huge variety of nail polishes, place is nice and clean. Tammy gives the best pedicures! And Paula is the only one I let wax my eyebrows. I been going to Paula's for about 7years now. Give them a try you won't be disappointed. read more

If I could give no starts I would I usually go to pretty nails but unfortunately they were closed so I went here huge mistake I come in n there was one sweet lady who greats me and my friend quit kind of her anyways, I let them know I wanted acrylics and a pedi they proceed to do so, my friends nails came out decent but mine looked fuken horrible I swear I asked for coffin shaped and and I had the fattest thickest nails ever seen. I didn't even want to pay it was so horrible I still gave a tip but never going here ever again go to pretty nails instead there always sweet and do a great job all the time. And to top it off 6 hours later one nail fell off all i did was remove the horrible paint job they did don't even bother going here !!!!! read more

I've been to Paula's once prior and they had done a pretty decent job. The second time I wasn't as lucky. I arrived at my appointment right on time and it was kinda busy but I figured the wait wasn't going to be too bad. I was wrong...They made me wait a really long time and what tipped me over the edge was that another girl came in 30 minutes after me and they started working on her immediately. I think the employees noticed the look of shock in my face or I may have had my mouth open in disbelief, I can't remember which. One of the lady's told me "Oh, it's because she has an appointment" and I replied "Yes, so do I". She promised that I would be next but that was after I started getting my car keys out of my purse. There was not an ounce of concern on their part as I walked out. I made a quick call to Lucky Nails on Valley, which was about to close and they said they would take me in with no problem. I've been to this place serval times and I've had it. I'm always making appointments wirh the Tammy and it seems as she can care less. I always have to wait 30+ mins, theyre always taking walk ins, when i come on time she's doing someone else's nails and they always stop to help others or pick up the phone. I've complained to Tammy serval times and all she ever says its sorry but she never does anything to fix it. Know if you're coming in with an appointment, you're most likely going to wait. read more

I been going to Paula to wax my eyebrows for years. She is the only person I have gone to that really does my eyebrows perfect the only reason why I didn't give the 5 stars was because whenever I go they take people in before me even if they don't appointment. I feel like they take advantage of me not making any complaints and patiently waiting for my turn even if it's more than an hour! But they are also nice staff. read more

I have been to several nail places, but Paula's is by far the best I've ever visited. Not only does she do great nails, but she is professional, respectful, humble, clean, and most importantly she truly cares for her customers. She is the type of person that comes in earlier and stays later just to accommodate her customers schedules. Everyone is nice and they greet you right away. I stumbled across this place approx. 3 years ago when my daughters needed to get their nails done on prom day, last minute. I love them. It is a cozy place. The parking lot is a little small but I always find parking. Paula and her gals are very sweet and do great work. My daughters tend to ask for nail designs. You can walk in at any time. If you are on a tight schedule, you can make an appointment. They offer waxing, threading and even eyelash extensions. I get compliments all the time on my hands and toes. I love the relaxing pedicures. If you'd like a little extra massage it's only $5!. The pricing is amazing. Every time someone asks me about where I get my nails done and the cost, people are shocked and immediately want to go. Manicures and pedicures just went up... $11 for manicure and $14 for pedicure! $25 for mani-pedi! Crazy right! You know as well as I do, you'd be hard pressed to find a better price. Very friendly staff but unfortunately they are way to slow! I waited over 3 hours to get a pedicure and I wasn't helped till I was about to leave, which I did. I wasted my time going here and it has not been the first time this happened. I went in at 8am to get a full set once and didn't get out until almost 2pm they not only made me late for work but did a horrible job I hated my nails I told Wendy I wanted my nails coffin and the shape was horrible and to top it off they were so thick that I went to another salon to make them thinner & they took over 30min to get them thinner bc of how thick they were but I still gave Paula's another try today and it was such a disappointment a waste of time & didn't end up getting a pedicure. I recommend you DONT go here!!Cheap but not worth the job they do and the excessive amount of time they take. read more

So glad I came across Paula! Needed a new place to get my eyebrows done and after reading all the wonderful reviews of Paula's work on eyebrows I decided to give this place a try. I called and scheduled and appointment and Paula was the one who answered. She was so sweet and and accommodated me with no problem! I went in today at 2:30 and the place was packed! They must be doing something right to get good business. I waited a few minutes and Paula called me into the room. Needless to say she was SO PARTICULAR and took her sweet time to make sure everything was to her standards and that I was happy. I laid down and she studied my face structure and my brows before going to work. She is very attentive and immediately noticed what would work best for me. She's been doing eyebrows for 23 years and this woman knows what she's doing! I showed her a picture of how I like my eyebrows and she made my eyebrows EXACTLY how I love them! She kept telling me she's very picky, and it's true. She will not let you leave unsatisfied. And the best part is? She can work fast without neglecting skills. I seriously felt like I was there for no more than 5 minutes and came out with amazing new looking brows. Paula is such a sweet lady and she knows what she's doing! I am usually a big believer in threading because it is better for your skin but with Paula I do not mind waxing...especially if my brows will look this good every time I go and see her!
