The technicians were nice, very pushy on mani/pedi combo, but nice. I would recommend going earlier on in the day. I went after work around 615 and my experience was definitely rushed. My mani took a total of 7 minutes, and it looks like it. I went in w long nails and ended up w short crooked nails w the nail polish starting half way up the nail. Two stars, because my pedicure was pretty enjoyable. The hot stone massage was nothing to write home about, especially on my shoulders (from the mani). She attempted to put the stones on my back from one side-while i was still sitting in the pedicure chair- and didn't even bother moving my hair out of the way...ouch! The facility was clean and they had a good selection of polish colors and brands. My friends love this place, unfortunately i dont see the quality. read more

I went in the other day with my girlfriend. She wanted to get her eyebrows waxed and I decided to get my nose waxed. The technician was an amateur at best. She literally applied wax 5 times in each nostril and tried to remove the hairs about 20 times. I left the store looking like Rudolph the red nose reindeer as she pulled off multiple layers of my skin. read more

My sister and I frequented this nail salon over the past two years. We have had pedicures, manicures, full sets of acrylic nails, eyebrow waxes, you name it. The prices were always very good and we built a rapport with the staff there. We have both worked in service and alwys tip 20%.. in cash...always... Then in recent weeks we have had terrible experiences, bad mani paint jobs I could have done better, botched pedicures, slanted acrylic nails and now she has an infected foot from when we went last Saturday. Needless to say we will never return to this salon. She called and told the owner -who knows and remembers us- and she said that did not happen here, sorry for your problem and hung up on her. I am calling the state health department... DON'T GO HERE!!!! Its not worth it and they won't take responsibility for the infection you will get!!!!! read more

1. I visited this place twice, I always try and the give the benefit of the doubt. First time, lady who did my pedi didn't help me with purse, shoes so my pedi got messed up and I had to redo. She walked away and left me, no thank you. Annoyed. 2. Allowed owner to do a full set nails on me. Within 1-1/2, I've had three nails break. Annoyed again. Its a wrap. I went to Paulene's on Saturday with my boyfriend and his mom while she was in town. I got a manicure with regular clear polish as I have for the last 5+ years, every time I get a manicure. My polish never chips for at least a week or two with regular clear polish. After one day, both my and my boyfriends moms clear polish almost totally chipped off. I thought perhaps they used the wrong polish on our nails so I went back in today (Tuesday, 3 days later) in hopes that they would offer to paint my nails with better polish. However when I went in and told them about the premature chipping they almost laughed at me and said that polish always chips after a couple of days. I suggested that maybe they should invest in better polish as I've been getting clear coats for years and have never had this issue. The two employees looked at each other like I was crazy and didn't offer to fix my nails. I will not be going back after this experience, terrible customer service. read more

They get u in fast and are reasonably priced but do not come here if you want anything other than a solid color or French manicure... They refuse to keep up with times and can not give you anything other than a five dot flower. Even when you're holding a picture right in front of them. I keep coming back because I try to be loyal on the hopes they will give you anything outside of the typical 80's style manicure but every time I'm disappointed. I have been coming to this salon for over 6 months. After finding the right nail tech-so I thought, my nails were holding up pretty well for about 2 weeks. My real distaste comes from the staff not holding an actual appointment and always asking for "25 minutes" as if I have nothing else to do, but drive over to their place with an appointment time, and then come back in another 25 minutes because out of pure greed, they took another appointment right before my scheduled time to get 2 out of 1 time spot. The staff can be rude and talk about us patrons in their native language which I found out from a friend. I am no longer going to patron this establishment. I got a mani-pedi here a few weeks ago after checking out the yelp reviews. I wasn't looking for anything spectacular since it was so cheap and that's pretty much what I got in terms of polish staying power. I had great conversation with the nail tech, which was really nice. The massage was wonderful and she made my feet and hands look great. I only gave three stars though because my nail polish was peeling off by the next day and the ends of my toes (which normally last a week or two) were also peeling after a couple of days. That was a bummer. I'd go back... I'd just buy the polish that I use on my toes to freshen the tips and make it last longer! read more

They were very nice. I made an appointment, though I don't think it mattered because, when I arrived, no one asked my name or confirmed the appointment. My technician was very nice, but the pedicure hurt a bit. I know it was not intentional, but she cut my toe a little (enough to bleed). I came here today for a manicure and pedicure... I have been here quite a few times; it is a place my girlfriends like to come to so when I want to hang with my girlfriends and get a mani/pedi this is where we meet. Although today I was solo:(. The ladies here do a really good job; my manicures always last a really long time and they are really nice and accommodating. Today I had one girl doing my pedicure and another doing my manicure... now that is what I call service! I was out of there in a hour. They do not have a tip line on credit or debit so bring cash for the tip. Today I did not have cash ( i forgot) they were so nice they said next time I come I can tip then if I want. I came back anyway to tip them because it was so fast and my nails look great. Oh another thing I forgot to mention is they use the hot rocks for the massage part for both the manicure and the pedicure and the callous remover is part of the cost of the pedicure. Probably the best gel mani I've ever had! I don't know the name of who did my nails, but she was so efficient and took the time to make sure all the edges were painted and no paint was on my skin! Surprisingly, most other places have trouble with this and it always baffles me, because it is their job and something they do all the time. Paulene Nails was friendly and their prices are awesome, too!! At the end of my mani she massaged my neck for a few minutes and it was amazing! I will be returning for sure! read more
