I could literally sit in here and eat meatballs and listen to the music and be in my happy zone! The ambiance in this pub is awesome and their booths are super comfy. Kirsten (oh gosh... spellcheck?) was our server and she was the best!! Greeted us right away and got our food out super fast! I'm just getting home and eating the my very expensive $12.95 baked "spaghetti" with 1 meatball & 1 sausage. First the waitress said it would be 15 minutes and I waited 17 minutes then went over. My spaghetti was not ready and I had to wait 15 more minutes. Some guy came out and asked me what did I order. I was extra frustrated but polite. I asked the waitress is this going to be worth $13 and she said I promise it will be. False promise. There is not much flavor or uniqueness and the two pieces of bread I got have no garlic, butter or nothing. the meatball has minimal flavor and the sausage is just sausage. I really should have read some of the reviews before I came here. Yesterday was a Saturday afternoon and I stopped by to have a beer or two. At the front of the restaurant it looks like a total dive bar. It's also obviously a spot for regulars. I sat on a booth facing the bar and cannot believe the mouth on these regulars. F bombs every two seconds obnoxious loud. If I go into a dive bar knowing it's a dive bar then I have no room to speak. But this place had kids around there and I cannot believe the drunk obnoxious locals. The bartenders were super cool and chill once the locals left. But while they were there they took all of the attention of the bartenders. I decided to have their hazy beer which was awesome. However the beer is eight dollars plus tax you give them a dollar tip and you're basically buying a $10 beer. To me that is way too expensive. I did not try any of the food but I saw plenty of small pizzas coming out of the kitchen area very burnt. As stated by other reviews. I parked in the back where they have a large parking lot as I walked through there was a gentleman making Street tacos which was pretty cool. I did not try them. If the beer was not so expensive and you were able to spread yourself away from drunk obnoxious Foul mouth loud regulars the place would not be half bad. We came here for a late night dinner. We had a party of 6 and we all enjoyed our food. Portion wise for the subs everything is huge. Make sure to share or be extremely hungry. I had the margherita pizza, the basil on top was really fresh. The crust was nice and thin. The garden salad was packed all the way to the top. We had the Bonnie & Clyde vodka sauce pasta, that was a 3 star out of 5, it lacked a little flavor. That was enough for one person. The "small" order of spaghetti and meatball sub and the chicken parmigiana sub was huge, enough for two people. Chicken salad was a good size as well. I came in with my family of 8. We were told because of covid we were not allowed to put tables together and we were all stuffed in a corner booth. Then they waitress had to come back 5 times for missing and/or drinks that we didn't order. Then they brought us the wrong food. When ordered a pizza and a salad. Salad we never received. WOW what a gem hidden in Upland. when you walk in t it looks like a small dark dive bar BUT its very clean and has amazing food. The décor is fantastic, we found ourselves seeing new things every time we looked up. We had a small pizza and a small sandwich, figured we would split them to try different things. My friend and I were hungry for some local pizza so I yelped and this place came up and I'm so glad we decided to try this place out. When we first walked in the bartender just told us to take a seat anywhere so we sat in the back. Waited for a few minutes before the server came to give us a menu. We ended up ordering a small Don Vito Sub, which by the way was not small and a large meat lover pizza. They were both amazing! I didn't take a picture of the sub but that alone got us full and by the time the pizza came we only were able to eat one slice. The slices are big as well. This review is way over due from my first one many years ago . We've been here many times over the years but not so much since Covid. We came in on Christmas. We were out looking at Christmas lights and we were pleasantly surprised when we saw that it was open. We just popped in for some holiday cheer so we sat at the bar. Amy was our bartender. She was great ! It was nice that a local place is open on a holiday for those people whose family may live elsewhere or are alone . There were several people who came in alone but everyone talked to each other so that was nice to see. We met a really nice guy at the bar. He was a regular so he knew Amy . I had my Fantasy Football Draft at this location on a Thursday, August 22, 2019. All 11 guys in my league are all my Bestest of Friends and they were all skeptical about this spot. Needless to say, All enjoyed it here and had possibly Top 5 most memorable Fantasy Football Draft moment of their entire lives. I had a GREAT TIME! Music playlist they had on was great...The Pizza was DISGUSTINGLY DELICIOUS! The only knock I have on this place is that there wasn't much selection on Brews on Tap, but was informed a shipment of kegs didn't come in which I understood because every beer is my favorite beer so it didn't really matter what I drank. This place is pretty awesome. My friend and I came here on a Saturday evening to watch a baseball game and it wasn't packed at all. We had just came from big al's so it was a relief they had the game on and the bar area had seats for us. Service wasn't all that great but it wasn't terrible either. The decor was pretty cool, modern with a touch of history. I loved the mug shots in the bathroom and the Jack Daniels lighting above the bar. One of my favorite Pizza/Bars in upland.... The food is always fresh. If you like a good salad they have the freshest veggies and their dressings are yummy taste like they are made in house. The Antipasta salad is a really good shareable and comes with 2 slices of bread. The pizza sooooo goood.... gooey cheesy-ness make sure you wait a couple mins it comes out so hot the cheese will slide right off lol.... This is great secret gem that my family found. Their sauce is not from a fan it's made daily and taste amazing. Spaghetti is good portion, lasagna is dripping with cheese and pizza is perfect crust is crunchy. During weekend nights it's not as family oriented but during day it is.
