Another AMAZING dinner at Nunos...this place really never disappoints. My husband and I had such a lovely dinner--the food is just delicious with such good flavors. The branzino was everything you want a grilled fish to be--so good! Crispy/grilled with tender/flaky fish. My husband loved the filet; it was cooked perfectly. The garlic shrimp was recommended by our waiter, Andrew, and we are glad we got it! It definitely could have been a meal in itself. We also got the bread pudding with gelato for dessert and it was THE BEST bread pudding I've ever had...freshly made and served hot with gelato right on top. Perfect. Andrew was the best--we've always had the best service here. He had great recommendations and really just made dinner so great. There was live music...lovely. The restaurant has such a nice European vibe. Will return again! Highly recommend if you're looking for beautiful food and top notch service.
A friend had been wanting to try it out so we went on a Thursday night. I will entering the restaurant is a little odd, it's in the side not in the front. It was dark inside, to see the menu we both had to use our phone flashlights. They could've turned on a few more lights. We ordered the Mallorcan pizza to start and it was delicious! We then shared the half order Paella Mar y Tierra, it was amazing! My friend that I was with said it was better than the one she had in Spain last year. They have a large list of specialty cocktails, I ordered the Passion de Ramon, it did not disappoint. Probably helped that it wasn't super busy, but our server was very attentive, friendly and helpful. Definitely a place to try if you haven't been.

Overall it was a nice experience, nice ambiance and friendly waiters.

Charming place. Servers were very attentive and friendly. All the dishes we ordered were well prepared. The tapas flight is not on the regular menu but it was on the daily special menu. Good variety of appetizers. The pizza had a soft and chewy crust. The hanger steak was cooked perfectly with a nice pink center, The seafood paella was very flavorful. But the clams and mussels were a bit overcooked.
Solid 5 star restaurant We felt very welcomed the moment when we were greeted. Our server paid close attention to us and just made us felt very warm. Food is fantastic. Everything was perfect from appetizer to desert. The desert, omg, to die for. The place does feel upscale. I dressed a little for the evening and I'm glad I did. Just went again last night and tried some of their seasonal items. As good as last time!

Small manageable menu, but there are always chef specials, off the regular menu and that is what we usually order. Ambiance is good for a nice date nite. I wouldn't say fine dining, but definitely an elevated dinner experience. Barrel aged whiskey cocktails are really good, I'd recommend the flight of three! They have quite a list with good descriptive tasting notes, but if you're having a tough time you can always tell your server your usual preferences and they can recommend a few. Overall a really good experience worth your hard earned money!
5 star customer service started with a phone call. Online, reservations were booked. So, I gave a call. Ryan was awesome, offering us an atrium patio table for 5. It couldn't have been a better choice for us! Our server, Danny, was amiable with a quick laugh, great recommendations, and unobtrusive yet timely service. The food...oh goodness! Two of us ordered the Mallorcan pizza, 3 of us the Mafalda Alfredo. The first bite I took of the pizza, I unashamedly let out an audible "Mmmmm..." What flavors! This was a flavor dance of the tastiest kind: The savory, rich sausage busting flavorful moves alongside the sashaying roasted sweetness of the figs, with honey glaze waltzing through it all. Some freshly grated parm and chili flake added some sassy heat to the party. Again...Mmmm! The Malfada pasta was met with equal "Mmmmms" from friends. The long strips of toothsomely pleasing pasta wrapped in rich, creamy sauce was definitely dreamy. Sadly, we ordered, but had to cancel, our dessert orders. We were on a time deadline to our next destination, and time was starting to run short. We gave ourselves 2 hours for dining, every minute of which we enjoyed. And honestly, we could've stayed another hour quite happily. This is an enjoy your drinks and conversation, relax in the ambience, delight in your order, and fall into that sweet space of food induced time suspension, so plan accordingly. I'm already looking forward to my next visit!

They also have an extensive wine and whisky collection. They offer a good selection of food. We had the bacon wrapped dates and potatoes for our starters and they tasted great. We ordered the filet mignon special and the Ribeye steak. Great quality and taste. We plan on visiting often.

Nice cozy restaurant with good service and romantic ambiance. The tapas are much smaller than I anticipated. One little scallop for the scallop ceviche but flavor was en pointe. Menu said shrimp croquettes but it was only one. It was delicious but was so small. Redeemed themselves with the regular food. Appetizer calamari was Lightly battered and good. Piri Piri chicken was half a roasted chicken. Sauce was too spicy for me for chicken was good. My husband got grilled branzino and while I liked it, he didn't like the citrusy flavor. Dessert was this huge apple pie type with ice cream. Yummy! I feel like the food was all good and I'd come back again to try other dishes. Maybe stay away from the tapas or lower the expectation. read more

This is now one of my favorite restaurants! You really can't go wrong with any of the menu items. Also great to just grab a couple of appetizers and some drinks. Their fruit cocktails are dangerously good. Service is always on par as well; they are very attentive. read more

I visited this place by myself to have a nice dinner on a Friday night. I sat down at the bar and the service was amazing. The bartenders were always checking on me and made my night. I ordered the oysters and my favorite was the Nikoi, the flavor was amazing. For entree I ordered the 12onz steak. It was perfectly cook and very tender. It came with a side of patatas bravas and grilled onions. I was expecting a bit of heat from the potatoes but they were not spicy. The onions were a bit undercook and they had a strong flavor, For drink I ordered a Paloma and was really good. I recommend this place for a nice casual date. read more

First off I want to give (Uncle) Danny a huge shout out for being such a great waiter. He was attentive AND entertaining. I ordered a bunch of things for the table: Short rib paella, pulpo, bacon wrapped dates, Caesar salad, calamari, patatas bravas, empanadas For entrees, we got the branzino tempura, peri peri chicken, Wagyu burgers, and the pizza. The general consensus was that the pulpo was the highlight as well as the Caesar salad and branzino. I would definitely get those again! Pulpo was so soft on a bed of super creamy mashed potatoes. Branzino was paired perfectly with a tangy salad. Unfortunately, the paella was a miss which was a disappointment because it was $120. Though there was a lot of short rib (to warrant the cost), the dish was honestly bland and the meat was burnt. read more

We use to live in Upland and this was always our "go to" bar/restaurant. Ramon is hands down the best craft cocktail curator and has an amazing wine selection too. We recently visited while driving through town - it had been a few years since we had been back. Nuno's is home, family, and truly spectacular food. Whenever my husband and I have a baby free night, we go to Nuno's. There is no better food in Claremont, Upland, or any of the surrounding cities. Sitting at Nuno's reminds us of eating at a small restaurant in Montepulciano, Italy. It's such a special experience. The cocktails are insane. Ramon (who runs the bar) is a legend in the area, and he really went all out for Nuno's. Danny, our favorite server, never fails to make us feel like kings and queens. I've been eyeing this place out for a while. Finally got to try it last night. This service was above and beyond.! Our server Danilo was so fabulous, definitely recommend requesting him when you go. The food and cocktails were delicious. Everything we tried was so good. Excellent flavors and all of the presentations came out beautifully. They had live music dark lighting such a cool vibe so much positivity and so much fun flying through that restaurant. I will definitely be back. There's more things I want to try. An absolute gem! I'm so glad we chose Nuno's for our celebration dinner. We ordered the branzino and filet, both were cooked to perfection and tried a few cocktails, which were just as good. A chic contemporary space offering upscale European tapas and mains plus an open bar. The service on point from the start but let me get to the goods! I started off with the grilled bluefin belly with cucamelon and almonds. So I'm going to say at first bite I can tell this was fresh as fresh can get! Damn this was good! I also tried Spanish style ribeye that came with hatch chilies and peewee potatoes. Man, both dishes came through and for dessert which I had first were the strawberry parfait and apple Tarte Tatin. The parfait was light and creamy and the tart was very flavorful with some sort of cream in the middle topped with ice cream. The service was on point throughout the dining experience and even other servers helped out even though it wasn't their table. Live music is in full effect on the weekend with a variety of styles. WOW!!!! Decided to walk around while charging my car and stumbled into this gem. I was intrigued and open the door, unsure, as the restaurant was empty. Joey greeted me right away and explained the restaurant, concept, and menu. I ended up ordering the Fancy Bowl and a Mojito. It was the most flavorful mojito -- optimized for flavor and taste in every way. I later found that they were actually closed but still served me! Chef Yurichoro brought me the food and Dani closed me out. Had a great experience, in a very nice restaurant with cozy ambiance, amazing and healthful food with superb service. A super late review, but went here for a Valentine's date for the first time. Reservations were easy online and were seated promptly. The ambiance inside is perfect for an intimate date with live music and dim ambient lighting. Be mindful it can get pretty loud so might be hard to hear your date. For drinks, I got the Passion de Ramon, which I recommend if you love citrus. We ordered the tapa flight, which included empanadas, Mahi Mahi, and bacon covered dates to start. I also tried the Nikkei Oyster & Leche de Tigre Oyster- I loved how refreshing the Leche de Tigre was but felt the Nikkei tasted straight like soy sauce despite it being ponzu. For our mains, we ordered the 12 oz Hanger Steak and the Margherita pizza. The Hanger Steak was phenomenal, so tender and with the added chimchurri sauce and salt is perfection. Found the Margherita pizza a little too sweet for my liking, but the ingredients were very fresh and enjoyable for something different. Overall, I loved the vibes inside and need to try a few more items but I did enjoy it! read more

OmG. Fine dining at its best! Do not count calories! Appetizers- potatoe thing, calamari, oysters, octopus - to die for!! Ramon, our server, was 'the menu' and was knowledgeable and generous. Love that guy. (He must eat there a lot because he could lose a few pounds.) The main dishes were an epicurean's delight: salmon grilled to perfection and enough for two; Branzino unique seasoning and cooked to perfection, but the octopus entree - the stuff of dreams. You should call the restaurant for the specific times, but when I was there, they had a flamenco guitarist and two dancers for a couple of hours in the early Saturday evening hours, but I understand that music is played on Sunday evenings.

Brunch is served from 9AM - 2PM on Saturday and Sunday. It is an a la cart brunch so there is no set price. Items are individually priced. Bottomless mimosas during those same times. Currently we do not have a happy hour. Thank you!
