My wife's car, 2006 VW Jetta TDI was having an issue with the car going into limp mode at random times especially on the highways. It was beyond frustrating because the check engine light would go on with a generic code which made it hard to pin-point the exact cause of the issue. Tom took my car in and drove it for couple of days to troubleshoot the problem, and he did find the problem. It was a broken waste gate actuator that'd fail to open intermittently especially when the engine was under heavy load. After replacing the actuator the problem went away.. thanks to Tom. Here's the deal, I took the car to several mechanics prior to Euro Specialists, and none of them could figure out the problem. They all charged me diagnostic fees along with other things that they thought was causing the limp mode. Thanks European Specialists, I'll be sure to bring all my cars here for repairs and services.
