I called to get an estimate on a sump pump exam and replacement, and they noted that they are only handling "emergency requests". I asked for anything in the next year, and they said that COVID was leading to problems, recommending that I call around. They noted very clearly that they were not free. The number listed on Yelp was incorrect. The business representative was clear that "they" are not available. He didn't know the reps and added that Matt, the primary owner, was injured. If you are looking for an estimate, keep in mind that it appears that they are having staffing / operational challenges.

He didn't show, I texted and he said he missed his reminder, apologized, but did not try to reschedule. I texted him again and we set up another appointment. He texted me that day and said he was stuck on a job and couldn't make it. No attempt to reschedule. I texted 3 times after that and left a phone message. No response. The temperatures are in the 30s at night, but I have not turned my heat on yet while I try to find someone to repair my furnace. I'm cold, pissed, and don't understand how you stay in business when you treat customers like this.

John needed to bring in water & sewer into the building. He had to plumb the bathroom, laundry area & kitchen. He also had to run new propane lines for our cooking stove, Vt Castings propane heater & on demand hot water. It came out perfect. A couple of years later, he had to install a new boiler and all new piping along with all new plumbing for an old house I bought in Huntington. He also ran propane for a clothes dryer, and on demand hot water heater and cooking stove. Again the results were perfect. Recently he installed a water purifying system under our kitchen sink so that we did not have to buy water again. In each and all of the 'jobs' he has done for us, his work is well thought out with money saving recommendations on appliances. His work is impeccable so there is never concern about the safety of all he does. I certainly would recommend him to help anyone who is looking for a very knowledgeable person in his trade. He takes great pride in his work and is reasonable in todays environment.

Sent two very young guys (20-ish) out for some frozen pipes at my barn. They spent just under 2…read morehours. I was charged for 4 hours work EACH (8 hours) and a trip fee for coming out to Southampton (30-35 min). The total was $1115 for 2 hours work and TOPS 1.5 hours drive roundtrip. When I questioned the rate, this was the response: "I'm sorry Hourly rates are based off employees salary and benefits so when they are on the clock those rates are charged to the beneficiary they may not have been Physically at your project but that's the total hours they had into it " How are you charging for their time when not here? Doesn't the service fee cover that? And they weren't both working but taking turns. And the water did not thaw. The next morning I went out and the water had thawed thankfully. Ryan was responsive when I reached out so I appreciate that, but the charges were over the top.

He pointed out some things I need to watch out for in the future. Definitely some preventive maintenance to be added to my list on this fixer-upper I purchased.
