After waiting all day for a check they told me tires were the issue. I already had tires on order elsewhere so said I'd stop back if it persisted. Got the tires swapped and it still had the noise so I came back the next day. Waited all day for them to take a look and they didn't get to it. The desk guy suggested that I take it elsewhere as he (personally) thought it may be transmission related. Took it to another local shop and it indeed was the axle. Just disappointed that they really didn't take the time to look at it after having it sit for two days. Gladly would have paid for their time. This was conveyed to the manager yesterday an hour before they closed. The price to do the tune-up was in the neighborhood of $350 and he broke it down enough for me to justify trying it. He took my information, assured me that the car would be ready if I could get it there absolute first thing this morning. My car is running better NOW than it ever has. I will check out this company's website and find out what other services are offered at this location. I see that there have been some bad reviews on this location and I cannot speak to them. I can only review what service my car has had and how it has affected me. The appointment was made this morning, and I will speak with the manager about what other services are offered. Chargers throughout and a rocking chair, tv, water/coffee for your pleasure. Gary was the force and Amy was the fuel, I thought she had been there for years and actually it hadn't even been a year. I've had interactions with a handful of AAMCOS and this one by far was the best. They have a warranty at AAMCO and we haven't had to use it because the truck is still running great. He then went into a tirade about how he hated his job, " I hate this job, hate this place, makes me sick!" Then this joker gave me no receipt and attached my trailer and waved me off.
